Nintendo "hints" at new smash

Who knows; it might be fake, it might not be. All I can say for sure is if it does come out, it probably won't be until after next year. Either way, I'm interested. And if they do make another Smash, maybe a Golden Sun character will actually be playable? I know Camelot's a 3rd party developer, but I was pissed that Isaac was reduced to a measly cameo that used Push, of all the Psynergies he could've used.
 
Well, like I said, this is most likely fake, but still. New Smash game would be awesome.
 
Not really. Little Mac has seen a boost in popularity recently(due to his inclusion in Brawl as an AT and Punch-Out!! Wii), Geno is one of the most requested characters to be in smash, and Mega Man is a large part of Nintendo's history. I'm actually suprised Rocky didn't make it into Brawl.
 
It's a joke. They're sort of trolling the Nintendo fanbase. Nevertheless, it's cool. I'd dig a Brawl expansion pack, though...
 
Mega man in Brawl would be the best thing to happen in this world since Klonoa 2.
But what would his moves be? And not to mention Final Smash, he doesn't have some kind of super-move as far as I know.
 
I can't see Geno getting into Brawl. Mario RPG was made by Square Enix, so they'd have to get permission from them.

Megaman is more likely: his first seven games were NES exclusives, and he's still thriving in the form of all those lame spin-offs for the DS. I wouldn't be surprised.

Little Mac is almost guaranteed; no point in discussing that.

If only this were true...

EDIT: Megaman could have the Rush Adaptor from MM7 as his final smash. He has plenty of other weapons, so it's up to the developers to decide which.

They'd think of something. Megaman's been in fighting games before, so I'm sure they wouldn't shaft him. Look at what they did for him, Roll, Tron Bonne, and the Servbot for the bullshit that was Marvel vs. Capcom 2. And Megaman was just stuck with the shitty Rock Ball, and gave him the Leaf Shield for some reason. And they made Tornado Hold crappier than it already was.

He's not Megaman classic, but look at what they did for Rock Volnutt in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom as well; he was an amalgamation of several different weapons from DASH and DASH 2, including the Shining Laser. He was just missing the Hyper Launcher from DASH 2 )=

Hey hey, don't be hatin' on Battle Network and Star Force. Those are fun )= And you forgot to mention ZX and ZX Advent. But just wait. Legends 3 will come out. Not even Capcom coming out and saying it outright that they aren't doing it would sway me from such a mindset. That's how much the ending pissed me off.

As unlikely as it would be though, I'd like to see another MM character make it in, maybe Zero from the Zero series, since he hasn't really been in any fighting games; just that lame Smash Bros. rip-off called Blade Warriors (That I only played just for the story, and how it connects Warlords and 2, and 2 and 3 together.), and in SNK vs. Capcom. Plus, MMZ made Zero seem less overhyped and everything, by bringing him down to main character status, and making his Z-Buster even shittier than it was in X5 and X6 combined.

Then there's assist trophies. Definitely would like to see Eddie show up as an assist.

Star Force is just... meh. I played a demo of it, and I didn't like it. I liked most of the other games (classic especially), though.

I hope you can play as the Tetris block Samurai Goroh. Fzero is underrated.

Yeah, but everybody likes Classic. My personal favorite is the Zero series. I still liked Star Force though. 3 is definitely the best one, gameplay wise though. Can't wait for the EXE and Shooting Star crossover though.

Twinrova/Kotake & Koume need to be in Smash, be it a playable character, or as an assist trophy. Sure they don't play as big a role as other characters, but they're still awesome villains.
 
We don't need a new Smash. We need new franchises that don't cater toward making fat people skinny and old people feel young again.

Somebody sure knows how to pull some people's legs though. ;)
 
Knuckle Joe should've been playable in Brawl. I would rather of had Waddle Dee, but he is one of Dedede's attacks.

We need moar Ridley. I don't care if he has to be shrunk, Ridley would be an awesome rep for Metroid.
 
Back up to Male Gardevoir's post, wouldn't it be awesome if his final smash was a program advance? Like Lifesword or Elementsword or something.

But yeah, for Geno to be in it they'd have to make some negotiations with Square. If your making negotiations with Square, might as well toss in some more characters.

Then he would have to be Rockman.EXE, not Classic. Although personally I'd prefer EXE over Classic, since he's got a bit more variety in his moveset. If his Final Smash was a PA, it'd be cool if it were 2xHero. It'd be more fitting than DreamSwrd, since I think a Sword chip might be used as a normal attack. Z-Step, or Z-Cannon might be cool though. Or instead of a Program Advance it could be either one of his Style Changes, or BeastOut from BN6.

I could also imagine him having Slasher as a V+B attack, since it works as a counter.
