• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Pandemic

"I'm going." Miles said, rushing out, "There's no way I'm sticking around here."

His tail twitched in excitement.

"So just because these most of these scientists, who're dead anyway, chose to experiment on us and because most people in the world haven't done anything for us... we're going to let them die? It's not like I want to be experimented on, but... I ju- I just can't accept that as easily as you," Evelyn muttered, shuddering violently. She thought of her friend, whose sister had died of the disease shortly before she herself died and Evelyn was taken. How could she force that on others? She thought about it some more. If there was no one staying with her and they did assume she'd rampaged and killed everyone, what would they do? Kill her? She growled, digging claws into her arm.
"Oi... if you two are staying... I will as well. So what do you really want to do?" she asked Marissa and Emese.

Oyasumi noticed people hesitating, and listened in on their conversations. Coming to a conclusion, he said,
"I nominate incapacitating the scientists, taking over the lab, finding a way to be less contagious-y, and then leaving."

"We'll have to use stealth, then. They surely outnumber us by far..." Carv said. After a few pondering, he made up his mind and with an insane look on his eyes he said, "I'm in for it."

"Hmmm..." Oyasumi looked into Carv's eyes.
"I... don't think I can trust you with a gun, but you seem plenty strong with physical combat."

"I- I'll leave... I think." Karen butted in. She had followed everyone out of the building, using roar to scare scientists away. "If- If I still was fully human, I bet I would've stayed. But now, the animal instincts want me to roam the lands, free from the evil humans. ANd I'll follow them. The Raikou side has kinda taken over a part of my life. " She shuddered. "I... would not call myself a human anymore..."

Mysti wanted freedom, but she didn't want to spread the virus. A few more scientists came in, heavily armed. "I'll stay too, if you give us some grass to roam in routinely! Hey, the Raichu in me wants to run around!" exclaimed Mysti.

Lupe sat near the building, looking indecisive. She wanted to run away, she could probably outrun the scientists. But they had guns, and she could make people sick..
At the sight of scientists with more weapons, she turned and ran away.

Oyasumi glanced at Timothy and smiled.
"The world may never know..."

Timothy slapped his forehead.

"What's so important about it anyway. All I know is that we have to run away from mad scientists who want to inject people with electric DNA that protects them from a fatal disease."

"At least they wont come close to us, I mean, we have the virus." Karen shrugged and took a step closer to the scientists. They stepped back, and threatened her with their guns.

"See?" Karen turned, "Agh!" Karen fell on the ground, a stinging pain in her shoulder. She looked at it, and there was a syringe.

Karen's eyes fogged, the world faded as she fell asleep.

"All-all you alright?" Mysti ran over to her and shook her. "Answer me! Are you alright!?" Mysti began to break into tears.

Karen didn't respond to Mysti. She was unconcious, she was in a fake sleep with no dreams, no feelings, just... nothing.

One of the scientists stepped forth. "Don't you dare come closer without my permission again." He said it as if he meant they were under his control, that they were like Pokémon, under the control of a human.
The man waved his hand, as a signal. Two other men in white stepped closer, but stayed away from the group of electric Poké-humans. They pointed at the others with their guns to hold them under control.

"Pl-please, don't shoot!" cried Mysti. "We were just cooped up in there too long! I'm claustrophobic!" she said. "Well, I am! Honest truth! I just wanted to get outside in the sunshine! Don't shoot anyone else either because they just wanted sunshine, too!"

Miles stepped forward.

"Oh, you don't want the disease, huh?" he snickered.

He started to run towards them, cheeks sparking.
