Closed Pokemon: A Shadowy Past

(OOC: When is that we will be starting?)

EDIT: (OOC: Is it okay if Vendetta is called a Midnight Commander, it being the rank between Grunt and Admin>)

((Tis okay.))

STARTING!

Serenity paced in the halls of the Midnight base. She needed something to do. Joy. She'd NEVER get out. Not after she disobeyed orders and had to fight the demented Gyarados of the Shadow Trainer Leader.

Maybe I could ask to go to the Colloseum... she thought.

((Shadow Trainer Leader belonged to someone in the Gaia incarnation. (You know who you are....)))

Vendetta sat in his office, with Ribbons hovering at his side. He was going over reports. Several Shadow Trainers had broken out. If they were rebelling, it would mean that either something was wrong with either the Heart-closing process or the Fusion process. He picked up his phone and hit the 'Lab' button.
"Doctor Lovrina, I need you to run statistical analysis of you're equipment. Something down there is faulty and we need to find out what."
Before Lovrina could reply he hung up.

Somewhere in the desolate desert, in a hidden cave, a lone girl sat, staring at her own hands. Her ruby-red eyes shimmered with sadness and anger. Why her? Why did it have to be her who had lost her own parents? Who had become this mutant freak? And above all, why did she kill those people?

"It was their own damn fault..." she muttered in an attempt to reassure herself. Her lime-green hair fell over her face with the first tear from her eyes. "They're the ones that tried to bend me to their will... They're the ones who thought closing my heart would make me a mindless slave... All it did was shut out my sense of sympathy..."

The Ninetales sleeping in the corner perked up. Oh no, Mia was sliding into depression again. And after the depression came the rage. The kitsune-like Pokemon glanced at several "additions* to the cave that Mia had blasted in fits of rage with the powers she had gained from her fusion. She had to be calmed down.

"The bastards..." Mia snarled, "They need to-" she stopped as she felt something press into her side. Glancing down, she sighed as she it was only her Nnetales nudging her side.

"Sheila...? Was I about to fly into rage again...?

Sheila nodded.

"Oh..."

Vendetta rose from his desk and Ribbons hovered beside him as he set off. He soon arrived in the Midnight Base Training Room. As he walked in, a number of Grunts saluted him. He waved them off and called them to attention.
"Who's my punchbag today?"

I was sneaking myhis way through the desert, checking continuously to see if any Midnights were after me, with my Quilava by my side, headed to Pyrite Town to rent a room. And maybe have a quick meal at the cafe. But that would be after I got there. Right now my only thoughts were to get there and to stay hidden. Just run and hide.

Zacharius was in the laboratory, mixing together a few chemicals. "With any luck I can finally get rid of these Crobat wings and the discolored skin," he muttered to himself. He had been working for hours trying to get a potion to do just that.

Serenity tiptoed up to Vendetta. "Umm...excuse me, Mi-Mister Vendetta, but...can I track down new recruits at one of the Colloseums?" She was very nervous, because she knew that he could be very temperamental.

Devon squinted, trying to see. It was nearly impossible, in the desert. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes, and looked around. Nothing, nothing but sand and more sand, enough sand to bury the whole earth, it seemed. Her pale skin felt like it was being burned off. She looked down at herself. For a second, she noticed a deep purple aura surrounding her. She'd always had it, she thought. Devon had no memory of being any other way. She hated it with her entire, (closed) heart.

((Luxio, not Luxray, Flora XD))

X-Ray woke up.
The sun is shining... He thought carelessly. He stood up, the golden markings on him were glowing. He yawned, and started to carelessly wander around. He was in a forest.
He found a Rattata, killed it, and ate the meat.

((Oopsie-doopsie, Bakuphoon! ^^;))

((..."Oopsie-doopsie"?

Yes, oopsie-doopie.))

((Also, on a completely random note, your post sounded kinda morbid. ^^))

((When my speech is completely italicized, it means the Umby part of me is speaking to me in thought.))

As I was running in the seemingly endless desert, I thought I saw a person."Hmm...doesn't look like a Midnight. I might as well check it out." "Wait, Blade! You're still iin a Midnight suit yourself!" "Yes but I don't have anything else to wear. If it is a Midnight, I can fool them. If they aren't I can explain it." "Okay, but I'm still against it." "Okay." Was the end of the mental conversation and I walked up casually to the person, who was apparently a female.(It's Devon)

Mia's stomach growled angrily. It had been three days since she had last eaten, and two since Sheila's last meal. The Ninetales whimpered and nudged her owner again.

"Sheila... I still don't feel safe going out there, and you know it..." she muttered, "I had to do it in the middle of the night last time, and all the stores were closed... Did manage to grab somthing though, was saving it for an emergency..." she grabbed an unopened can of food, opened it, and handed it to Sheila.

"Here. I can go much longer without food than you can..."

Devon looked up. Another person had walked up to her. She played with a piece of her white hair nervously.
"Who are you? In Midnight, right. Did they send you to bring me back? Because I'm not going back. Not ever."
She looked at her nails. More like claws, really. She had ran away about a week ago. Part Zangoose, all Shadow Trainer. Devon was free now, at least physically. She looked again at the faint purple aura surrounding her her.
I am not one of them. NO!

((Ya, sorry, but shadows don't have feelings, am I right? And I was'nt in the mood to write, like, 7 lines DX And I'm not now either...
Oh, and I haven't played Gale of Darkness, so I don't know anything about the areas. Sorry. I'm going to look at Bulbapedia and Serebii if they have some information about it :D))

((Not necessarily true. Mia's got feelings, right?))

Mia, about to sigh, was interrupted at the sound of faint conversation outside.

"Actual people...?" she asked herself, "Sheila, stay here. I'm going to take a look." with that, she rolled the stone hiding the entrance out of the way slightly and peeked through the hole at the commotion outside. There were two people; one with Zangoose claws - probably another Shadow - and another in a uniform that greatly resembled...

A Midnight...

"Hmmm... she doesn't look Midnight, so I'll just have to trust her." I thought, and said, "Listen, I'm not a member of Midnight. I broke out recently and have been running all the way to Pyrite Town since. I am a shadow trainer, and is it safe to assume you are too?" The Umbreon in him was starting to believe that I was stupid, and wished he had been infused with a smarter person. But I was, in fact, the smarter one at the time.

((True. And I was just stating. Don't be sorry!))

((Basically, the only differences are:

PokeSpots (not that they'll come into play unless someone wants a Pokemon)
The Under went poof. (When my sister set up a guild version's areas, she forgot that. ^^;)))

Devon nodded sadly.
"Yeah. Half Zangoose. All freak."
Long white hair, and a red mark across her face and stomach. Long and sharp, black claw-like nails. Ridiculously pale. She was hideous, a freak. She wouldn't have minded so much if she'd been born like this, maybe the result of a human and Zangoose. But no, since she was little, genetically altered to become... this.

X-Ray finished eating the meat of the Rattata, and started walking into the town nearby the forest.
He always tried to keep hidden, but it was'nt easy, as everyone could see his glowing red eyes in the dark.

((Where is Team Midnights base anyways?))
