Xhan had seen the light, but hadn't really seen what happened. He decided that Enigma had it covered. He finished his run, and stopped near Midnight. "What are you doing?" He asked, with a sound of authority in his voice. Even though he had no real authority, and he couldn't ever hope to defeat a legendary Pokemon. He looked up to where Shadow was probably watching him. He began to wonder if this had been a good idea. Shadow might get ticked at him for this.

Seeing the flash of light, but not really believing it at first, the large Flygon begins to approach his comrades and the spot that his rivals had been in. "What just happened?" he asks, still staring at the flash. "Where did they go?" He sighs, shaking his head. Somehow, Team light had slipped right out their claws. The wings, now disappearing... was it the Houndoom's doing? And if so, how in the world was this happening? Or is this all a result of that strange disorienting beam that hit him earlier. Trying to make sense of it all... just was not working. Farran tilted his head up toward the sky and let out a loud roar of frustration.

Finally, Serena woke up, and noticed many of the others were already awake.
Drat! I overslept!
She noticed the cave was a bit beat up. Using scent to find her teammates, she approached Farran. "What just happened here?" The Vaporeon swished her tail.

Farran turns his head toward Serena and grins. "Miss Serena, there you are! I was worried when you didn't show up. I thought you might have been caught in one of the big explosions, but I'm glad you're safe. We found some rebels, and we were fighting them, but somehow they managed to get away. Also, the explosions, I'm not sure exactly what caused them, but I suspect it was Shadow. That's all I know so far."

"Okay," Serena replied to the Flygon. "Let's see if we can figure out anything more. Maybe one of us should follow them or something and listen in on what they're planning next. That way we can be ready when they attack. Or maybe, if that's too practical, you can help figure out something else."

"Well, we do have to find them first, in that case." Farran replies, sitting down next to Serena. "Perhaps Kruger would be best for a scouting job. I could go, but I'm sure they would spot me, and they might disappear again in that case. What do you think?" He offers to pet Serena with one of his forepaws. "Also, are you hungry? I could go looking for breakfast."

Coraline looked around.
"We teleported? I didn't know Houndoom could do that! Wow."
She remembered that they might have been follow. Turning and crouching down, Coraline got ready to use a Confuse Ray on any enemies that might come. Her direct attacks really weren't the best and she moved relatively slowly. However, Umbreons didn't get hurt or tired very easily and were meant to confuse, poison, or put to sleep enemies and wait for them to knock themselves out. It was helpful for others on a team, at least.

Kruger flies up next to Farran. "You called?" He asks, smirking.
He looks around. "I don't like the look of that Houndoom. He sprouted wings, he's just no good. And that Umbreon guards him like her child," He comments.

He ruffles his feathers one last time, to get the last of the sand out. He grunts, "I hate flying in sandstorms."

Farran chuckles, turning to Kruger. "I personally enjoy sandstorms, but I suppose I can see how you would be different. Well, yes, I called. Miss Serena was thinking about scouting the rebels we fought, and I suggested that you might be the best one for that job, since not only can you fly, but you're also small and can blend in with your surroundings much better than I can."

Shadow watched the scene below unfold.
Now why is Team Light attacking itself? Shadow thought as he watched the Aggron and Flygon fight Team Light. Rebels maybe? Or some team trying to get in on my job?! he thought.
He aimed his mouth at the Pokemon and fired a powerful Punishment beam at them.
"THAT'S MY JOB!" he bellowed.

"If you don't like sandstorms, I suggest you deal with it or get outta here.", Lachlan suggested to Kruger. Then, he was knocked down by another attack. He got back up, looked around, and shouted, "Now everything is ruined!"

"Please, size is all about proportion," Kruger says, before looking at Lachlan and nodding. "Noted," He merely says.
I'm not THAT small am I? And honestly, it's not like I'm complaining every time he uses that attack! I'm glad no one on this team is Psychic.

Kruger looks up a bit while wondering, and sees the Punishment attack. "Look out!" He squawks. He knew that he was indeed lighter, and apparently smaller then Farran, else he would've shoved Farran out of the way. He knew he didn't really like him enough to put himself in harms way for him.
I would help him, but he's a sheep. He has so much opportunity wasted on being a lackey rather then a leader. But he's my ally. Meh, I just don't feel like being a nice guy to him.

((Sorry, guys! I've been in San Fransico for the last few days. *beats self with hammer* I guess I'll just say that Ordalla's a deep sleeper))

The Aerodactyl opened her eyes to see that she was of the cave, laying down in the middle of what seemed to be the remains of a battlefield.
"Uh.... what happened?" She said, slightly blushing.
Idiot! You have to stop being such a deep sleeper! She scolded herself.

Thorn landed and rolled a bit. She stayed stationary for a few moments, before a telepathic, feminine voice rang out, I think an electric shock is in order.

"It would seem..." came a hollow voice from behind Serena moments after the punishment struck their leader. Ariel appeared in her usual way, fading into existance as her cloak of darkness released her. "...That there are other playthings that did not escape the chaos...We should seek them out." Ariel moved so that she stood beside her commander and turned to look at her.

She planted her blank eyes on Serena, like an obedient servant looking to her master for a command. "I would happily volunteer to do the seeking..." Her paws flexed, partially unsheathing her claws, as she spoke the word 'happily' and she bared her fangs in a grin of bloodlust. It did not take much in the way of intelligence to realize what she wished to do with the 'playthings' when she found them.

Coroline tried to shrug to Thorn.
"Sorry, can't help with that. Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse.. not even close."
She watched the other Pokemon flying or on the mountain.
"We should get further away. I think they're gonna come after us if we stay here."

Kruger turns his head to Ariel. If he wasn't a bird would would see him smiling. But he has a beak. He remains silent, for no particular reason, just he has nothing to say.

I know you can't, the voice rang out, but what about him? A Houndoom could possibly know Thunder Fang.

"I know. But that's the least of problems now. One of us can carry you for the moment. But, I think we're going to be attacked if we stay in one spot for too long. They're really close.."

Midnight backed away from the on-lookers.

"Maaaybe now is a bad time to ask..." shew whiospered to herself, once again fading off into the shadows. She only hoped she could attempt to attach herself to the shadow cast by the Lugia himself and get in that way.
