"Come on! Hang on!" "I-I can't!!!" "Hold onto my hand!!!" "I - can't...No...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!"

"Where...where am I..." The small creature slowly looked 'round herself, on what seemed to be a beach. She looked at the sand and the crystal clear water..."No... I'm f-fading away..." Her vision slowly went to white, she nodded her head in a dazed fashion, and began going unconscious. "Maybe... w-when I wake up...everything will become clear..."

"Gah, we lost her!"

"Argh, I can't seem to grip your hand!"

"NO! DON'T LET GO! WE AREN'T LOSING TWO NOW!"

"I can't! I told you we should have tied all of us together!"

"It doesn't matter now, just hold on! We're nearing the destination!"

"I....can't! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

The small creature woke up at the mouth of a cave on a beach in the middle of a storm. He was able to just barely drag himself inside before passing out once again.

"Hold on, Chor! Please, don't let go!"

"I - No! I can't!"

"Chora, what're you doing? ... No! Why is your hand loosening up?!"

"I don't want to bring you in, too..."

"No! Chora! NO!"

She remembered shrieking her little heart out, and then being pulled into the blackness.

When she had finally woken, she blinked once, then twice. Where was she? Who was she? She felt different. Her backside was tingling, her ears still ringing. Maybe if she went back to bed, she would wake up and feel better. Yeah, that sounded good... Her eyes rolled back as she soon drifted back in unconsciousness

"She's gone....I..I can't believe it.....I hear something....AHH!!!!"

As she was entering a world of black, she saw only the fading image Of what seemed like a cressent-shaped object....

She woke up on a beach, where the water was as clear as the sky. She looked at her hand. A bright orange. Something else also occured to her; Who was she? She counldn't remember her name, who she was, where she lived! She felt uneasy, and plopped onto the bright sand, fainted.

Avery was happilly sailing with the morning breeze, the cool air feeling good as it flowed between his feather and around him.He loved the air, though this wouldn`t come to others as a surprise due to his father, Avery still made it clear that he enjoyed his freedom. A low swoop over the sea to feel the spray quickly revealed something to him, an unconcious Purrloin was lying on the shore closer to the cliffs the gentle waves barely reaching her. Avery pulled a tight loop and used the exit momentum to launch towards the Purrloin, quickly landing beside her and gently rolling her further up the beach away from the waves to see if he could help.

"Um, excuse me, are you alright." Avery asked, somewhat panic-stricken to have found someone unconcious on the beach, especially a beach as difficult to get to as the one beneath Shatrpedo bluff. He tapped the Purrloin on the shoulder, then quickly remembered what his mom taught him about situations like these and gently gripped the scruff of her neck in preperation toary her up to the town.

Crystal woke up in a cave by a beach. She got up and shook her head, then walked to the waters edge. She stretched out and started walking down the shore line. She saw a tailow, but decided to ignore it and go up the path and walk to the cliff edge ad enjoy the breeze.

(I don't know who's partner I will be so I will let the main choose me)

Joseph walked to the beach, a habit he's had ever since he was little. It was nice to see the bubbles that the Krabby produced. It calmed him down, and helped him relax.

Today would've been the same, if it weren't for the Pokemon lying on the sand. At a closer glance, they seemed unconscious. There also seemed to be at least two aiding to some of them, while another obliviously passed all of them.

One had caught Joseph's attention, one that was at the mouth of Beach Cave.

That was rather... Dangerous under the circumstances that had recently come into play.

Joseph, who's parents had died when he was just a small kit, became alone. Eventually, the guild started to care for him. Each day, he observed the duties of each person at the guild, curious about what their jobs were. He spent his days doing this for a long time.

One interested him the most, though. Exploration teams. Joseph was told that they explore dangerous places, known as Mystery Dungeons, and that there was one on the beach known as 'Beach Cave'. Joseph eventually concluded that he should stay away.

But this was urgent. He had to do something before something happened.

Joseph trotted over to the Pokemon, a Ralts, which were rarely seen in this area, or anyway near Treasure Town.

He poked the Ralts, seeing if it would wake up.

"Hello? Are you awake?" He would ask. "What happened to you?"

He wanted to get out of there as fast as possible.

Grumbling, Blink slowly faded back into concsciousness to hear somebody ask him if he was awake and what had happened to him.

"Yea, yea I'm awake." He replied. He managed to finally open his eyes and discovered that the person questioning him was actually an Eevee! A little surprised, he was also wondering why he was so, well, small-until he put he put his hand to his face. Jumping up and gasping a little bit, he examined the rest of his body, which is when he found he was a Ralts! He didn't know how this was possible-he was supposed to be a human!

After getting over the initial shock of this discovery, he decided to answer the Eevee's other question-before he realized he couldn't remember what happened to him. In fact, he couldn't remember anything BUT his name and the fact he was human.

"I have no clue what happened to me, where I am, or even WHO I am, beyond my name and something else."

'He seems... Surprised at something. I guess that's understandable as he's a bit out of place...'

"You don't remember anything? Maybe something happened... There was this bad storm last night... You along with another few seem out of place here, so maybe you were carried adrift." Joseph tried to explain.

"Anyways, you're at the mouth of a cave called Beach Cave, for... Rather obvious reasons. It's also rather dangerous for a few reasons, and I can explain once we get out of it. It's dangerous to be here no matter where in it, and you're lucky nothing had happened to you."

Suzannah stared ruefully at the gate before her. It was not fear of falling down that kept her from stepping on it; it was not nervousness about joining the guild that prevented her from going forward, either. She was suspicious because Guildmaster Wigglytuff was in there.

Diglett, he was nice. And although staring up from that grate all day seemed like a very odd occupation, he was not creepy or ominous at all. He just had a weird day job.

Guildmaster Wigglytuff was both creepy and ominous. Wigglytuff in general were not known as being strong. In fact, they were pretty weak pokemon in general. That was why Suzannah was so hesitant to see the Guildmaster (she was so scared of him that she sometimes mentally called him the Cultmaster). The Cultmaster was... very strong, obviously. The electrike was curious to know why.

There seemed to be no explanation. He was so ridiculous, wanting to meet friendly friends and assuming everyone was nice. If he was brave enough to do that, than the Guildmaster must have had some sort of great power that made it reasonable to allow that sort of thinking. At least that's what the electric type assumed.

Intimidated by the power of Cultmaster Wigglytuff, Suzannah dejectedly backed away from the grate by the entrance of the guild. Traveling down the hill, she allowed herself one glance at the guild she wanted to join so much before she reached the beach.

There was quite an odd sight there. A bunch of pokemon seemed to have passed out on the beach. Wondering what it possibly could have been (bandits?) Suzannah hung back for a while and tried to process the situation. After a few minutes of staring, the green and yellow creature decided it was safe enough to proceed. A taillow had done so minutes earlier, so it seemed to be fine.

Lurking over to the red fox cautiously, the electrike analyzed her carefully. Once she realized the fire type was unconscious Suzannah did not waste time. Aiming a kick at her (lightly, of course, she wasn't trying to hurt the vulpix) the electric dog voiced her commands. "Wake up. Why are you asleep on the beach, anyway?"

Blink thought for a moment. He managed to remember a storm, and dragging himself inside of the cave, but nothing before that. "I remember the storm, and getting inside of the cave, but nothing before that. Very odd...."

Deciding he should go with the Eevee, at least for now, he said "Alright, I'll go with you for now. By the way, my name is Blink. What would yours be?"

"Wha...h...hello?" the small Vulpix's vision slowly returned to normal, though she was feeling ever so slightly dizzy. As she regained consciousness, she noticed a weird kick on her back. "...H-hey...Why are you kicking me?! Who are you? WHERE AM I?! TELL ME!" Blazia growled. "WHAT AM I DOING HERE?!" Blazia stood up, and began staring down the odd green-and-yellow...thing.

"My name is Joseph..." He said in reply. He had nowhere to go for a bit, but back to the guild. And he wasn't sure if he should immediately rush back there either.

With the fact that the number of dangerous Polemon is constantly increasing, Joseph was worried about what the rest of the guild would think of Blink.

Of course, it would also be logical to bring him to the guild, as he was likely injured somewhere along the way... He had lost his memory!

'We have people to check that. Right? Right?' Joseph thought, as he was having a mental battle.

He eventually decided to bring Blink to guild. If he was going to attack, he would've. It wouldn't be hard to believe that he wasn't out to harm anyone, anyways.

"There's some place, I need to take you, the guild. I live there, and we can see if we can do anything for you, and possibly the other Pokemon here."

"WHERE AM I?! TELL ME! WHAT AM I DOING HERE?!" Joseph heard one of the Pokemon command. He looked over and saw it was the Vulpix, and an Elecktike.

"I think... Another's awake... Just follow me."

Hmm. The fox was hostile (nevermind that Suzannah had kicked her). "I'm kicking you because you were passed out on the beach," the electrike answered irritatedly. Meeting her height with another mildly annoyed look (they were the exact same height, it seemed), the electric green pokemon answered most of her questions with the same tone. "We're on the beach, as I said. You're right outside of Treasure Town. I don't know why you're here, why should I? And I won't give you my name until you tell me yours."

Looking at the six-tailed mammal with a stiff expression, the electric type considered the possibilities. What could make her forget why she was here?

((Yes, they are the exact same height. I checked on Veekun. Also, did you know linoone is only two feet long? :o))

((No, I didn't! :o))

"Oh...I'm...I'm sorry. I... I want to go home..." The small fox shuffled her legs around, unsure what to say. Unsure why the heck she was in such a bizarre place. She wanted so desperately to go home. "I'm... that's right... Um...I'm... Stormblazia. Yes, Stormblazia. You can... you can call me Blazia for short."

(Linoone is only two feet long? What is this, I don't even....)

Blinking a little bit at Joseph's offer, and the commotion on the beach, Blink agreed to go to this guild.

"Yea, maybe its best we go now before the others wake up, although I do want to know what this 'guild' is before we reach there."

After saying this, Blink started to follow Joseph as he headed to wherever this "guild" was.

"The Guild..." Joseph said, thinking of how to explain it.

"I guess you can call it the main hub for all exploration teams in this region. I can't exactly go into explaining more until I explain exploration teams...

Exploration teams are basically Pokemon who explore mystery dungeons, like Beach Cave. They fend off these 'evil' Pokemon, and explore a mystery dungeon to the end to see what's at the end. It can vary from treasure to something extremely simple. They carry out tasks for people, or capture outlaws." Joseph explained.

"Now, back to explaining the Guild. The guild is the central hub of all exploration teams in this region. They provide them with their missions, give them food, and a place to sleep. It may not sound like much, but it's probably very awarding to do such a thing..."

As Joseph led Blink towards the guild, he continued, "You see, I live with the guild, but they normally only accept Pokrmon who want to join an exploration team. I live there, but not as an exploration team member.

They care for me. They were the only people that actually wanted to... I was an orphan, my parents killed when I was a kit."

As Joseph was explaining the guild and exploration teams, Blink was listening intently, especially after hearing the treasure part. Although he didn't understand the concept entirely-Joseph was unclear on a few points-Blink got enough of it that a spark of interest flicked on inside of him. He, however, put that feeling away when he heard that Joseph was an orphan.

"I didn't realize that. I'm sorry. At least the people at this guild have taken care of you."

At this point they had begun to climb some stairs. Blink realized they were probably close to the guild, so he started to perk up with curiosity. He wanted to see what this guild looked like.

Avery cringed as he took off, the new weight wasn't all too much, but he was unused to carrying anyone. His large wings roughly made up for it beating strong power beats to gain altitude in order to fly to the guild.

Avery's father lways wanted avery to form a team, but Avery felt he was just too unprepared to start one on his own, and that he should join a newly forming team. Despite this he hung around the guild quite a bit, and often helped dugtrio with the daily jobs by informing the triplet mole pokemon hich jobs were taken by who, and which ones were being completed on each day, something of a semi-menial task, but still helpful, as it made Dugtrio's job easier. Avery knew that the guild would provide sufficient medical services to revive the Purrloin that he had in his talons, and that was his aim.

It woke up, feeling someone prodding it. It heard a faint voice, asking it some question. No, 'it' didn't sound right. It thought it was something... Female? Yes, is was female. No, more like she was female. Then she started to feel herself being lifted, by some loose skin on the back of her neck. She cringed. It didn't hurt, but it didn't feel right. It was weird. Something clung to her skin while she was being lifted. Sand? Yes, that was the word for it. It was stuck under her fur and claws and -

Wait, what?

What was she right now? She couldn't remember anything, though this didn't feel right. She somehow knew that she was a quadruped when she should be a biped. And that numbness from her butt.. what was wrong with it? She felt something move on her flank -

Wait, she had flanks now. Not that she didn't have flanks before, but her flanks we're furry. Finally, she opened her eyes. Her flanks weren't furry and purple with creme splotches and what the hell was happening.

After a while, she also realized that she was being lifted into the air. She looked down, seeing landscape pass underneath her. Flying. She remembered something about it. She knew she hated it.

The female thing (she didn't even know what she was yet) let out a strange shriek. When she should have yelled, she yowled. Something was very wrong. And finally she said something.

"Put - put me down! Putmedownputmedownputmedowwn!!" She started fidgeting, trying to break free from whoever was holding her. After a couple a seconds she realized that this was a bad idea, as she was very high up by now. She went limp, not knowing what else to do. She looked up at who was holding her, and spotted some bird. A bird with very large wings. A bird that looking very familiar. Her butt twitched again. Something deep inside her wanted to hurt this bird, some untamed instinct, but she held back. One thought flashed through her mind, though.

Wonder if it tastes like chicken?
