Open Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

Charmander walked back to the beach since there were no missions. She was sure her name started with Xen, but didn't know the other letters. She sat by Crystal. "Crystal....I know my name starts with 'Xen'.I dont know the other letters...You might think I'm strange...."Charmander stood up."I'm gonna go to the buried relic. Get my mind off of this. I'll be back in a few hours." She walked off to the relic.

(Oi darkaura, you and shadow are making it so hard for me to write something for this RP since your posts are so short yet advance the time along so far. >_< Would you mind slowing it down and making some slightly larger posts instead of just a bunch of 1-4 line posts?)

Ruthless criminals? Her purple ear's twitched. Sounded interesting. But what she was more focused on was Avery's problem with finding a suitable partner for a rescue team. She wondered if -

Her thoughts were cut off when Avery addressed the presence of the Wingull. She nodded her head to the seagull in an attempt to introduce herself, though Avery seemed to have done that already. Before she could shake his hand - that is, if she could shake his hand, due to her now having a paw and him having a wing - Wint flew off, his duty calling to him. Chora just stood there stupidly, watching as he flew away. Finally, she turned to Avery.

'Why don't you ask Wint to be your partner? You guys look like you would make a good team, two birds against the world of evil and... rescue-y-ness," she asked. In the back of her head, though, she had a better option of who would be his partner, but she would wait to see what he would see about Wint.

"Wint- hah, don't get me wrong, he's a good freind and all, but he took up that job for a reason, because it involves no battling what-so-ever. Plus I wouldn't find Amp Plains a very hospitible place for a team lke that. Nah, I had thought of that once, but quickly go over it, realising the foolishness of it..." Avery sighed slightly, then looked back to Chora, "No, I need a grounded partner, someone who has a firmer sense of reality and won't wimp from a fight, someone, I dunno, brave, respectable, and firstly, organised. I hd something I wanted to discuss with the Guild Master too, so don't worry aut that thought. And that's in about an hour...hmmm...well I guess we could sit here and talk until one of us hears Loudred wake up the others...then we'l head for roll call."

Avery shifted his seated weight to the back of his feet, in a way leaning against nothing. His mind was fixed on something, but with a beak for a mouth, his expression was likely difficult for Chora to read.

Chora sat down on her furry purple haunches, exhaling a bit. She ran what Avery said through her head for a few minutes. So, being in a rescue team would mean you would have to battle, right? She didn't know how good she'd be a battling. Did she even know how to use any moves that most Pokemon knew? She raised a paw to her face. It didn't look very fierce or frightening, even when she unsheathed her claws. They were like tiny daggers, daggers that couldn't even inflict any damage. Maybe scratch you and break through skin, but not impale or mortally wound anyone.

But was she a grouded person- er, Pokemon? She supposed so. Did she have a firm grip on reality? Not really, she still has wondering if this was all just a dream, even though it didn't feel like it. Would she wimp from a fight? This sparked something inside of her. She couldn't remember being in any fights. But if she was in one, could she protect someone, actually attack someone with enough power to knock them over or hurt them? She looked down at her tiny quadruped body. She didn't look like she could do that much damage. But some little voice inside her head said that no matter what, she could get through a tough spot. Finally, she got back up on all fours.

"How about I be your partner? Sure, I've just met you, but I have nowhere else to go. I got no family, or any friends, except you. I need shelter, food, water; this place provides that. I really should join you in a rescue team." She smiled, her fangs jutting out because of how cheesy it was.

"You? Well, hmm, that might actually work. Mind you we'd start off doing low rank missions and what-not. Basically collecting petty theives, finding items in small dungeons, and just minor local exploration, at least until we're given the right to rank up. But yeah, that would work, I'm certain that you'd cover my, uh, weak points just as well as I could your's..."

Avery smiled, he was finally to progress in his life and career. This made him feel good, and he began to sing, something like an Altaria's humming but a little more sharp, alittle louder, and more of chirping, all this singing whilst rocking back in forth in happiness. Just suddenly a boom emanated from below. Avery, jolted by surprise flutters a touch in to the air before landing.

"Heh, whoops, looks as if it's Roll-call, funny how time flies, eh?" Avery remarks, a flushed look on his face as he leads them down the ladder to the common room.

So, it was settled then. She guessed she would stay with Avery for the time being, until she could find a way to become human again. Then, she wondered, when would she tell Avery about her being originally human. She was afraid that her only friend that she had right now and she didn't want to drive him away seeming like she was crazy. Did they even know what humans were? Of course they did, they were just Pokemon. Wild Pokemon. She would find another human soon and they would find a way to turn her back...

She would settle for the little tasks that Avery listed, like finding items and arresting 'petty thieves'. She almost couldn't wait to try out her new attacks - if she new how to summon any - on some criminal, even if he was low-leveled scum. She smiled as she listened to Avery sing, watching the Taillow with happiness. Then the gigantic sound came from below, cutting off Avery's song. She jumped, and when she landed her back was arched and her fur was raised. Her eyes had become slits, and her claws were unsheathed, and she hissed in fear. When Avery told her it was just a Pokemon calling role call, she was surprised. What Pokemon could make a sound that loud?!

She shook the thought from her mind and headed down the ladder again, with as much problems as she did that first time.

((Sorry on my late replies. I can't RP here as often anymore, so if BlinkingSky wants to tale over my character, that's fine.))

"Rolllllleeeee-CALLLLLLLLLL!" Shouted Wigglytuff, leaving his room at the bottom of the guild. He proceeded to watch the flood of students from the upper floor and the rooms at the side, and noticed that there were several new recruits. "Hi there! New recruits, are you? Nice to see you! What are your names?"

(Sorry. I know it's not a very good post. Wigglytuff... Is... Kind of... Hard to roleplay? Agh...)

Charmander was at the foot of the entrance to the dungeon. She looked at the sun; it was rising. "Crap! It's rolecall!! I gotta get back to the guild!!!" As charmander ran across the beach, through the cafe, she wondered if Crystal was there. It seemed like yesterday that she met Crystal. But Crystal thought charmander was weird, and charmander wasn't sure if Crystal was an actual friend.

Charmander got there just in time to where Wigglytuff was asking for everyone's names. Charmander didn't know her name, at least, not all of it.Suddenly, a faint sound said it all. the faint sound said "A". Her name...was Xena....

"Wigglytuff,"Charmander said,"My name is Xena." Charmander Looked around the room. She wasn' sure if Crystal was there. Xena wanted Crystal to know her name.

Xena went back into her guild room.Even though it was morning-or sunset, she didn't know which- she felt the urge to sleep, and sleep she did.

"Rolllllleeeee-CALLLLLLLLLL!"

Chora hurried down the ladder as fast as she could, and, on the way down, missed a rung and almost fell. Her new cat-like instincts had her regain her balance, and she made it down without any other problems. When she had finally made it back onto the floor that she and Avery had slept on, she automatically noticed the pink rabbit-looking creature with wide green eyes. Almost unnerving green eyes. A chill ran down her back, her fur standing slightly up on her spine, but she calmed herself down.

Even though one one side she felt scared of Wigglytuff, on the other hand, she felt connected to him. Sort of how she felt connected to Avery. Without really thinking, she walked up to the Guildmaster as the rescue teams started lining up for role call. She waited for the Charmander in front of her to introduce herself before it was her turn.

"Hullo, I'm guessing you're the Guildmaster. I'm Chora, and I just got here. After you do role call, I would love to talk to you in private," she said with a bow.

Charmander (Or Xena,as she just found out) saw Chora and said "Hi, I'm Xena! I'm new to the guild!"

Xena felt relieved to actually meet someone. Until now, Xena never even noticed the other new members. All of a sudden, a loud growl came from Xena's stomach to where everyone heard and looked at her.

"Hehe.....uhh.....breakfast, anyone?" Xena said. Xena wasn't even aware of most things at the guild before. Xena snuck into the kitchen right before breakfast.

Crystal causually strolled in. She knew it was role call so she had to go.

"Names Crystal," She said,"So some one said breakfast?"
----
Meanwhile in the kitchen, a chimecho was cooking.

"Guess who made WAFFLES!" it cheered
(lol gir reference)

(Mewmew, If you haven't known, Charmander found out her name was Xena)

Xena saw Crystal walking in. Again, Xena's Stomach growled. Xena looked up, embarressed. "Uhh....Hey Mr.Wonderful!"(<Gir reference) Xena couldn't think of anything else to say.

"Chime!! CHIME!!!!!!CCCCHHHHIIIMMMEEEEE!!!!! for breakfast!" Chimecho remarked. Her Chime pun was lame.

After Chimecho gave Xena her food, Chimecho turned for a split second then turned back to see Xena's plate empty.

"Hehe..." Xena said.

(Is it just me, or did it go straight from rolecall to breakfast in two posts? This is kind of incredibly ridiculous. Slow down, for the love of anything that will get you to slow down.)

(Xena hasn't eaten for a while. It's an "early breakfast" for Xena)

Xena rushed out, with a full stomach. It was still rolecall, and Xena ate her breakfast early. Xena suddenly stopped at the entrance to her room. Ther was a small figure standing right infront of her bed. the strange thing glared at her. It suddenly rushed out through a window. "Weird...I better get ready for the day. I want another mission!"

Xena waited in her room for Crystal to come. She wouldn't go in there alone. What if Xena needed help? So she sat there, as rolecall was still going, waiting for crystal.

(due to computer difficulties I won't be posting as much)
Crystal walked into her room, it was stuffy in there. Then she saw why, charmander was there. It wasn't a bother, she just naturally made the room stuffy.

"Hey, um, Xena I believe they said," Crystal said laying on her bed.

"Yeah." Xena said.

Besides remembering her name, some thing else occured to her; Who WAS she? Xena ddidn't even know who she was. Maybe it'll come to her like her name did? There was something else odd. Why did that Karrablast give her and Crystal the item that they had to go through hell to get?

Xena looked down under her bed. She kept the Destiny Sword there. She looked under...it was gone! That strange figure in her room must have stolen it. Maybe there was a witness?

"Crystal, that sword the Karrablast gave to us-It's gone!"
