Open Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

"I don't know," Crystal said,"There are a lot of charmanders out there, maybe he thought you were someone else?"

She didn't want to think that had into this. Then she noticed the charmander starring out to the ocean. She seemed mesmerized by something.

"hey watch it,"Crystal said to Charmander,"the ocean can make you lose sight of reality, I should know."

"Sure!" the panda said happily, then set set to work. Dancing erratically, the cafe's manager/chef set out to make the drink. After swerving back and forth and making moves that probably would've spilled the drink if the laws of physics were paying attention at the moment, Spinda handed the sufficiently shaken drink back to Blazia. "Come again soon!" she cheered.

Suzannah repeated the process, but much more bluntly. "Hey Spinda," she said. "Can you shake this nomel berry up? Thanks."

Happily the panda repeated the process, and seconds later the electrike calmly took her drink. "I think we should go no," the electric type commented. "It's getting dark, and I have to show you my place. Maybe the guild, too. Everything else can wait for tomorrow, I'd say."

Charmander walked on the water. She didn't know how...but as quick as it started, she fell in the ocean....her flame was going out. Right before she fainted, she heard a "Xe" sound....

And I thought I was never gonna have to go in there again, Crystal said to herself as she jumped after the charmander. She eventually caught and dragged to pokemon back to shore. She quickly grabbed some wood and used spark to set it on fire. She also walked over to the charmander and gently bit it's tail with fire fang to make sure it would stay lit.

"You are the strangest Charmander I have ever met,"Crystal said.

Chora fell asleep quickly and easily despite the fact that she wasn't used to sleeping on a sack of hay. maybe she would just wake up in the morning and be human again. She didn't quite no, but she had to try. Not that she didn't want to leave Avery, she just felt so awkward in this body.

When she woke up, finally, she noticed that Avery was already awake and perched on a root above of her nest. She stood up, stumbling on her four legs, and looked up at the Taillow with big glistening green eyes.

"Good morning," she purred, smiling.

Charmander suddenly felt stronger, but still unconcious. She dreamed of only this; "Xen"
....it was actually spelling her name.....before she coule think anymore, the dream was gone....

Crystal stared out to the ocean, awaiting the Charmander's awakening. She hoped it was ok, a fire type put directly into water can have devastating effects. She watched out to the distance, then she thought she saw a shimmer of blue scales.

No inal thinking too much about Julia. she said to herself.

"Oh, where are you Julia?" she said outloud, not even realizing she did.

"Awake, and before Loudred could wake us up!" Avery chirped happily, "Loudred often works with Diglett on security, and I'm certain I don't have to explain how loud they can be. Anyways, as we're likely up before everyone else I suppose I could answer any questions you'd like to have answered, at least to the best of my ability..."

Avery noticed that Chora was looking somewhat happier today, less confusion, though it was still present. He passed it of though, he never did like bothering other people about things that wasn't his business. Probably another value learned from his mother, and not his father.

"If you'd like to go to the gathering room to talk or stay here, it's fine with me..."

Loudred. She remembered Loudred. Big indigo... things that always had their mouth open and didn't know how to lower their voice. Oh yes, she knew Loudreds.

Avery mentioned some room that involved gathering. She thought to herself. Would she meet the Guildmaster at this gathering room? She probably would. She blinked at the Taillow.

"I would like to see the Guildmaster now, if that's possible. I need to see him. It's... urgent."

(Yeah. I couldn't post, so we can get to it 'in the morning'.)

Unfortunately, Joseph was already sleeping. Night soon turned into day.

"Ah, well yo see, the thing is, the guldmaster isn't an early riser at least not as well as I..." Avery was scratching the back of is head with his wing, trying to piece together his sentence as best as he could, "I get up 'bout two to three hours before everyine, at morning light, somewhat of a habit really. In most cases I would've already doing my morning flight and be back in time for roll-call later. I woke up, what, maybe half an hour ago so we kind of got a couple of hours to burn, and Chatot prefers it if guild members where to remain in assigned quarters other-wise. It's actually best to speak with Wigglytuff after roll-call, because then it's confirmed he's awake."

Avery grinned sheepishly, not knowing how to handle the situation, mainly due to his unanticipation to her being an early riser. He glanced out the window to see a Wingull headed for the guild, a small parcel tied to his feet. These were the daily jobs, and part of Avery's job.

"Well, we could meet Wint to recieve todays jobs, I don't think Chatot'll mind if I introduce you to Wint."

Chora's ears went back in agitation. She needed to talk to the Guildmaster! Why had she woken up so early before anyone else?! Whatever, the Guildmaster would be up at role call... Whatever that meant. She looked out of the window with Avery, and noticed another avian flying towards them. This time it looked like a seagull with blue stripes. It was carrying something in it's talons.

"Is Wint the mail carrier or something? I'd like to meet him, too."

"Alright." Blazia cheerfully trotted behind Suzannah's back, following her footsteps.

"Yep, he's here every morning with jobs for the exploration teams to do." Avery began as he lead them to the job floor, the floor they had skipped when they first entered, "My job is to meet him and recieve the jobs, then sort them by rank, difficulty and type. My other jobs are later in the day, but what I truly would like is to actually join a fledgling exploration team, go out on these jobs and such."

Avery smiled happily as he thought of all of the wonderful fun he would have exploring, how brave he'd be when he brought back that big baddie with his team.

Chora had some difficulty climbing back up the ladder. Sure, it was easily than going down, but she still was afraid she'd miss her step and fall. Given it wasn't a very far fall, but still.

She had noticed the job floor when they first entered the guild, though they passed it up quickly. But now she took a long look around. There were two boards up pinned to the wall, one having a bunch of pictures of different Pokemon, and the other just a bunch of letters. She walked up to the letters, and read them outloud.

"'Help me find my pearl'... 'I can't find my friend'... Wow, some of these sound serious." She looked again, and saw different letters of the alphabet next to them. E, D, C.... It went on. She turned back to Avery, and smiled to herself when she saw the Taillow was smiling, obviously lost in thought while he stared out into space.

"Why haven't you joined a team yet? Do they have standards or something when you start a team? Any rules?" She padded back to the bird, her purple head tilted to the side.

"yeah, you should see the jobs that Team Alpha takes, some o the criminals are just insanely ruthless..." Avery replies watching for Wint.

"Hmm, oh well no, there aren't a lot of standards. Mainly combat capabilities, something everyone has, good endurance, and usually a good moral compass, though I've heard of a few less then pleasent teams here 'n there. I would join a team, but there are just none around I feel I'd be attachd to...and as much as I could start a team on my own, I'm a little too flighty, a little too headstrong, and not very well organized. I dunno, something'll happen soon, I'm certain of it, but I dunno what." Avery looked up to see Wint slowly glide through his door, a special door in a small tunnel in which only he had the key to.

"Hey Wint, how're you this morning?" Avery chirped happily.

"Oh, good morning Avery, un, not bad, you know, as well as I wuld be from waking in 4 in the morn, and flying several miles to deliver jobs, but, meh, it's a living. Oh who's your freind?" Wint replies taking a moment to catch his breath.

"This is Chora, I found her yesterday evening at the base of Sharpedo Bluff, unconcious."

"Ah, well, nice to meet you miss Chora, if you don't mind, I must be going."

charmander woke up. it was mourning and crystal was sleeping.Crystal looked exausted. Charmander didn't want to wake her, so she went to find another mission. Dugtrio told charmander "We are putting new challenges up.Please wail for the missions"

Crystal awoke to see the charmander leaving. She was tempted to follow but decide not. After the chamander was out of sight she got to her paws and began to walk toward the water. She got to the edge and laid down. She loved to feel the water lapping up to her paws the returning to the ocean. Also she liked when the water was higher and it would go under her.

I wonder what's with the charmander, Crystal thought, it doesn't know it's name and is very strange.
