Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Pokemon Racing

Sandra's heart was racing now. She thought, Wish me luck, Rukari-san and Chouchou-san... Those were the Japanese nicknames for Solar and Butterfly that she gave them. She often called them by those names, too, and in return, sometimes they would say, "Sandara-chan..." She knew they had faith in her, and she would do her best for them.

((What alarm? There was no alarm, except the Exploud... and it's not a gate, it's a line painted on the grass.))

Starlight relaxed. He became tense as the Exploud started counting.

"Five... four... three... two... one...."

A Loudred on the opposite side of the track whom Starlight had not noticed before let out a loud yell, signaling the start of the race. The Mightyena kicked his paws in the grass and paced off into the trees.

There were two neon orange lines marking the sides of the track. They were about fifty feet apart, allowing many Pokemon to race at a time. Starlight observed this as he charged through the forest.

Sandra immediately leaped over the starting line, and began dashing at a fast pace through the trees. She figured she could keep this up for about as long as this race. Luckily there were no distractions, and she was able to keep going without being thrown off.

Aero flew (literally) out of the starting gates, and tried to keep a nice pace throughout the race. As pancake shreds were flying out of his mouth, he dodged a few trees in the way, and was steadily keeping at other Pokemon's paces.

"Please remember," said another Exploud in the forest, "that the racetrack is not entirely devoid of wild Pokemon."

"I know," mumbled Starlight, dodging a rather thick tree.

Sandra was shocked, and used Aura Sphere without slowing down on a Nuzleaf in front of her. She kept an eye out for anything else that might block her way. She was glad that she had special attacks.

Meanwhile, Rukari-san and Chouchou-san were walking towards the next place where they would see Sandara-chan.

Ziggio, was fast asleep until an espeon woke him up.

"YOU'RE LATE FOR THE RACE, GET UP!" she yelled, tackling him. The zigzagoon pushed the espeon away and ran out of the tent.

"I'm here, I'm here!" he said, running across the track.

As Aero glided though the forest with ease, he will flying carelessly until he saw a Bayleef wanting to pick a fight. Aero sighed. "Gosh, I'll just DragonBreath you a bit..." He let out a stream of blue from his mouth, and the Bayleef seemed to be fainted on the spot. "That's what you get," he said, continuing on with the race, although he was now a bit off pace.

((Hey! My mom only lets me have an hour in evening and hour in morning!))
Purification raced across the track. She ran into the forest and knocked a Ratatta aside. She caught up with Aero, and passed him because shed didn't like pancakes in her face.

Masquerade saw the Pokemon take off. They noticed a Suicune in particular. "Hey, look at the Suicune go!" shouted Dreams. They all disappeared in the forest. "Now what do we do?" asked the Mew. "We...Go get snacks!" said Masquerade, teleporting home and coming back with popcorn. "Sweet!" said dreams, her mouth full of popcorn drenched in butter.

Moon leaped at the start of the race and sprinted into a forest. He had to turn to dodge trees and he saw a Kadabra. He Faint Attacked and kept running. He noticed a trail of pancake bits and pacakes flying out of another racer's mouth, and move to the left of his position and got faster, because there was nothing in the way.

((*fingerwag* don't godmod... it takes one or two attacks to defeat the Pokemon, so...))

Nighfang howled and dashed ahead, behind Purification and Aero.

"There will be Exploud along the racetrack giving instructons," a Loudred shouted.

Sandra let out a quick burst of speed to pass Nightfang slightly. She was getting a bit tired, but thought, I will run for Rukari-san and Chouchou-san. This gave her energy, and she continued her pace.

Aero finally gulped down the pancakes, and suddenly seemed to have a burst of energy (Kinda like Popeye when he eats spinach) and raced forward quickly. He passed the Suicune, but suddenly lost the control of his speed and hit his head on a tree. He laid there, fainted, for about 2 minutes.

Ziggio started panting as he tried to run around the pokemon that had fainted. Should that be against the rules? he thought and kept running, aware of pokemon that could knock him out.

Moon started gathering all his energy into his feet, and released it in a sudden attempt to win. He got faster, but hestarted getting off his center of balance, and started to sway across the track.

Purification saw a Pokemon ram into a tree. This sudden burst of glee caused her to run faster. Luckily, Suicunes were very good runners, for they needed to run across the lake to purify it. Thus her name. She raced forawrd, slightly losing her balance. She was... thirsty. She pretended that it was her childhood situation where she only got water if she ran a long, long time. Her thirst made her go all the faster, but she was getting less graceful.

Aero slowly got up. "Wh-where am I?" he asked. He finally remembered. "DANG IT! THE RACE!" he said, shooting up. He was way behind now, but slowly got up and started racing as fast as he could, seeing a few shadows of other Pokemon eventually. Tired, he started to keep a slow but steady pace again.

Timora watched Aero attempt to catch up with a grim interest. Mental note: Eon Pokemon very determined. I might want to try dispatching them early on.

Starlight growled and dashed ahead of the Suicune.

"Cross the river ahead," a voice came from another Exploud referee.

The Mightyena nodded, and spotted a wide creek in the distance.
