Pokemon Remnants: Seeds of Chaos
This world was once controlled by humans, a race of beings nothing like pokemon, who had evolved through time with pokemon. They eventually discovered a way to capture and train the pokemon. For centuries pokemon were friends, partners, and even tools of these beings. Eventually some pokemon became fed up with this, and began praying to their god, the almighty Arceus, who even he was afraid that humans may attempt to find a way to capture the legends. Arceus never looked upon the humans in good terms, and only created them to better and care for the world that his true creations lived in.
On the 12th day of the 12th month of the 12th year after the second millennium after the birth of a human claimed to be the savior of the human race, Arceus finally casted his judgment and the entire race of humans were transformed into their souls, each human becoming a pokemon. At this, the human world began to crumble, and the pokemon who had once been human had to adapt to their new lifestyles, new foods, and new survival techniques.
This was three decades ago, and many of the human cities resemble desolate, ruined cityscapes, each building inhabited by one or more pokemon. The pokemen as they were deemed have watched what they thought was their world going to the pokemon. They were angry with Arceus for his Judgment, but knew that nothing could be done about it. They had begun to fit in the pokemon world and lived happily, finding no point in casting any hate. Between clans of pokemon there were the common feuds, but nothing like a human war, and the world was much more peaceful.
But this wasn’t the case, as a group of pokemen were already working on a plan to defeat Arceus, and demand to have their, so-called, rightful lives back. This involved an elaborate plan that Darkrai devised, in order to overthrow power from Arceus.
You are a pokemon living in this world, a world where pokemon roam free, and places like Mt. Silver and Viridian forest are more like caves. This world has organizations of pokemon known as adventurers, who work to keep the world in order, to rescue pokemon, and to find treasures. In a sense this is similar to a mystery dungeon theme, with one exception; the world also has large ruins once known as human cities. These have become the homes and lairs of pokemon. Some of the smaller cities have become bases and guild locations for these organizations. You are part of one of the four main organizations.
Rules:
1. PM Character Sheets to me, I don’t wish for the thread to be full of non-accepted sign-up sheets.
2. No God modding or railroading, I despise it.
3. Up to six pokemon a team, yes you may control all six.
4. Up to four teams per Organization. Each Organization has a guild hall were missions are posted.
5. Have fun and follow the board rules.
