(For future reference, a bata is a type of Irish stick, also known as a shillelagh, it's about three feet long and you hold it with two hands with a bit left sticking out of your hands at either side.)

Minutes later, the owner came out of the shop's small kitchen carrying two trays of food. "Here you go, enjoy," he spoke as he sat the trays down on the counter in front.
"Thank you." Kochi replied, reaching first for his Temaki.

"Thank you," Silvera said quickly. First, she looked at the tamago nigiri. It was a small cube of rice with a sweet egg strip on top, wrapped with a thin string of seaweed. She took it between her chopsticks and bit into it, the combination of sweet and bitter flooding her jaws.

Rather than use chopsticks, Kochi picked up the Temaki between his forepaws, biting into it like an ice cream cone, savoring the crisp texture and mix of flavors. After his bite, he turned to his student, deciding to make some conversation. "So tell me, Silvera, what drives you to become a ninja? How do you see it improving your future?

Silvera swallowed the last bit of her first tamago nigiri. "I want to be a ninja because I want to protect our village. Without us the village would be vulnerable to attack, and most likely destroyed if one happens. So I want to help keep our village from approaching that fate." The Buizel took a bite out of one of her sushi rolls.

Dralon made a ring around Apple, a toroidal section of unsteady ground about 3-5 feet in radius from her, capable of caving in with a single step in it. He the dug underneath the Sandslash and tried to bite into her leg.

Kochi quickly finished the conical roll while listening to Silvera's speech. "A typical answer... surely survival of family and friends is important. But what about your own personal aspirations? Don't you have any personal goals?" He took chopsticks in one paw and lifted the bowl of Chirashizushi with his other forepaw, holding it close to his head and beginning to shovel rice into his mouth.

Blade emerged from the forest, into a small clearing, with a lake in the middle. He moved towards the lake, and drank. He then said, "Azumi, I am here", before a Poliwhirl walked out onto the shore. "Have you heard anything of the treasures, friend?".

"Unfortunately not Blade. However, I do have something that may interest you." Azumi replied before opening his hand, revealing a Dragon Scale. "One of the Horsea had it, and gave it to me. I hope you can make use of it in the future."

"Thank you, my friend. I visit again soon. Goodbye for now." Blade said before nodding, turning around, and walking back into the forest.

"Goodbye to you as well, my friend." Azumi called behind him.

"Come on, get up."

"Alright, alright..." Frost flipped over and stood up, shaking himself to get his fur back into place. The two proceeded to exit the den, where they spotted Bonsai and that Leafeon.

"What are you doing here?" Cyndra asked.

((Two things. One: Bonsai and Sephii ARE outside Cyndra and Frost's den, right? And two: Is it too late to add another character?))

As Apple's leg was bitten into, she used Slash on her student; not too hard, but not completely gently either. This would probably get him off her foot.

"Well..." said Silvera, hesitating, "I've been wanting to mentor a few students for sure, and, umm... I have a few more but I can't think of them right now." She didn't mention to Kochi that she wanted the three treasures that she had learned about in her childhood past.

A small Buizel was crouched on a rock, eyeing a Ledyba as it flew by. Then, a Pidgey landed next to it and flew off. The Buizel took the letter it had dropped in its forepaws and slid the paper out of the envelope with its teeth. The Water-type's eyes skimmed across the page, reading:

"Dear citizens,

There has been many reports of sightings of golden, box-shaped items scattered throughout the country. No one knows if these treasures have mysterious powers, but there are legends about sparkling boxes harnessing mystical abilities. Whether these spectacular items are the ones in the myths has not been confirmed. More details may come later."

The letter had not been signed. The young Buizel had no way of knowing who had sent it, but she was going to look for those treasures. Not now, though; when she was older was the right time...

Appearance: She's a bit blue. Literally. She's more blue-green, and her blue rose is a deeper color while what her red rose would be is actually red-violet.

Personality: A dilligent student who does anything to appease her sensei. She prefers training over almost anything else, and likes using Grass-type attacks more than others.
Bio: She was born close to the sea, which is why she has a blue hint to her.

Serinar goes and grabs his bata(or whatever) and... is temporarlily taken control of by Teh Ebil Snorlax, because I don't know what to do, and it'll get everything done faster.

As Dralon was slashed at, he simply let go, letting himself drop back into his hole. He stayed down under Apple for a little while longer, then tried to appear under his tail and chomp back down on that.

Kochi smiled, realizing it was something Silvera didn't really want to talk about. Rather than responding, he just continued eating. When he finally finished his rice bowl, he asked Silvera, "After we're done, we can check out the job market, but in the meantime, do you have any questions for me?" He tried to seem like a nice guy, figuring that the best teachers have the strongest professional bonds with their students.

Apple was bitten on her tail by her student, but she was ready this time. She quickly used Rapid Spin, hoping to fling Dralon off her tail, then hit him with a Fury Swipes or some other scratching move.

Dralon felt himself lifted up and spun around. He let go and flew off of Apple, rolling onto his back maybe 8 feet away. He seemed to have a little trouble righting himself, beginning to roll side to side to try to get back to his feet.

Silvera smiled and looked back down at her tray. She had two more pieces of tamago nigiri left, and one more sushi roll. She finished her food, which took about eight minutes, and she thought about the answer to Kochi's question. "I can't think of any questions at the moment," she said, looking thoughtful. "You can lead me to the job market," she told her sensei, "because I don't know where it is." She laughed a bit.
