• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Possessed By Legend: OOC and Signups

Actually, I'd like to switch to Celebi instead, if that's okay. ^^;

Name: Maia

Age: 10 human years

Gender: Female

Species: Ralts

Appearance: She is just a normal Ralts, but slightly smaller than average.

Possessed Appearance: Her skin is tinted slightly green, her eyes blue (Not that you can tell) and she grows tiny antennas and wings.

Personality: Maia is very intelligent for her age and good at reading people's emotions. She is usually quiet and reserved, but determined and stubborn in her own way. She isn't very easily upset, and prefers to run away instead of fight.

Biography: Maia has lived a very quiet life alone, deep in Ilex Forest. Every day was basically the same as the last; wake up, eat berries, walk around and watch humans or talk to other Pokemon, eat, sleep, repeat. Her living there might have been one of the reasons for her being chosen by Celebi.
Other: 7x5=35
---
Species: Celebi

Name: Rue (Sometimes called this by Maia)

Gender: Female

Personality: She seems to be the opposite of Maia; energetic and easily excited. Kind by nature, but not afraid to get violent if necessary.

Accepted and reserved.

Note that I'm not going to start until at half of the people who have reserved, excluding me, have finished their forms, and when they are finished all the people who've reserved but haven't posted their forms will be unreserved. That's the way I roll.

Reserving Kyogre please~

Name: Wildbird version 2.1 beta (or Wildbird for short)

Age: 2 human years

Gender: None

Species: Porygon2

Appearance: A small, rounded bird-like creature, Wildbird is a perfectly normal Porygon2, measuring exactly two feet tall and weighing 71.6 pounds. Its head and most of its body is mostly a light shade of red, bordering pink, with hex code EE5A62. Its belly, tail and two rounded wing-like projections on its side are a light blue color with hex code 4A9CD5. In short, Wildbird version 2.1 beta is a perfect Porygon2.

Possessed Appearance: Wildbird's backside changes to a deep blue color while his belly, tail, beak, and wings change to a light blue that is almost white. Its eyes turn to an eerie yellow, and a glowing red rune like the one on Kyogre's fins appears on its back.

Personality: None, or at least that's what Silph Co. wanted it to have. Although Wildbird is extremely intelligent, it is not capable of empathy or any other emotion. It will calculate out the course of action before undertaking it and will do exactly what its registered owner tells it to do. It doesn't care about anyone -- not because it does not want to, but because it is not physically capable of doing so. Wildbird doesn't understand the difference between morally right and wrong subjects, and will calculate all actions with a mathematical and scientific point of view. It will no hesitate to kill, destroy, or harm if it calculates that the end result will be better than the other possibility.
However, Wildbird version 2.0 sometimes has displays of seemingly emotional behaviour. Sometimes it has been observed to seem happy when petted, or unnerved when faced with a challenging problem. It is not sure whether there is a glitch in the system or the observer was just imagining things.

Biography: Like most other Porygons, Wildbird version 2.1 beta is made by Silph Co., the leading manufacture in pokemon technology. Silph Co. is proud of its innovations and tries to create new technology while updating old ones. Wildbird version 1.0, a model of Porygon2's designed to work in space was a failure -- the company trashed the design along with the pokemon a few weeks after its debut. Its systems were unstable, for it often crashes or attacks randomly. However, it seemed like version 1.0 was tougher than it seemed, for Silph Co. did not manage to completely delete its all program files. A few codes were left, and they floated around the cyberspace as they waited for their chance to come back again.
Then, one day, the code managed to crash one of the main systems in Silph Co., causing mass panic as everyone tried to figure out how the fail-safe system went wrong, or, in the worst case scenario, how some hackers got into the system. Needless to say, they were surprised to find that it was just a bit of code left from a failure project. Silph Co. took the code and rewrote it, turning it into what was known as Wildbird version 2.0, which actually worked extremely well, for it is very durable and hard to delete. However, the program soon started acting strangely again, sometimes displaying what could best be described as "emotions". Silph Co. attempted to patch version 2.0 and ended up with Wildbird version 2.1 beta.

Other: My awesome owls don't zap sentries.

Legendary:

Species: Kyogre

Name: Kyogre

Gender: Male

Personality: Cold, calm and calculating, Kyogre had chose a creature (if a Porygon could be called that) similar to himself. He did not think the battle against the... something... was a good idea at all, especially after seeing what power it had, but it still fought the first battle. One of the last Pokemon to get killed in the fight, Kyogre had tried to escape when he realized that the situation was hopeless, but he died before he could escape. Being Groundon's archenemy since his creation, Kyogre naturally hates Groudon's guts and currently blames his death on Groudon.

Oh, Male Gardevoir, do you mean "the flame left the Hall of Origin"?

Well I can't explain it that well, it just looks female to me. >>

Normal Pokémon

Name: Hera

Age: 16 (Pokemon years)

Gender: Female

Species: Gardevoir

Appearance: A normal Gardevoir; you know, red spike thingy sticking out of her chest, green hair, green arms... the only thing that's really different is her violet eyes.

Possessed Appearance: Eyes turn blue, her hair turns white and her arms turn black. That spike thing also becomes a brighter red.

Personality: Quick-witted and snappy. She usually comes off as bitter, but she has a bit of a sweet spot for babies and young children.

Biography: Hera is a city Pokemon, who hails straight from Goldenrod City with her two best friends; a Typhlosion and a Glaceon. Around a year ago, however, she decided she needed to go on a soul-searching trip after the three had somehow wound up out of the city on Route 34. That journey lead her to Sinnoh, and she's been there for around three months and is making plans to travel to Orre soon.

Other: Number Three and Number Five 8D

Legendaries:

Species: Darkrai

Name: Midnight

Gender: Female

Personality: To be short, a snide hothead. She's very sarcastic, pessimistic and dark-humored, and likes to go off at anyone she doesn't agree with, sans Arceus. She really thought this mission was a bad idea, and thought it was an even worse idea to have to posess Pokemon just to have access to something that limits power, but she at least tries not to complain.

I object to the gender thing :C I don't see why Darkrai or Registeel couldn't be female; I see Giratina as female and so forth... And By 'real names' do you mean the species name? If so, I also find that silly. Why can't legendaries have names like other Pokemon? My Ho-Oh will insist on being called his name if this is so.

Anyway.

Normal Pokémon
Name: Ooyu
Age: 35 or so
Gender: Male
Species: Kecleon
Appearance: Pretty much your average Kecleon over here.
Possessed Appearance: When possessed, Ooyu takes on the deeper reds, greens, and golds of a Ho-Oh, and his tail shines like a rainbow. He takes on the secondary type of Fire.
Personality: Ooyu is an odd bird. Most of the time he seems completely out of it, almost dangerously oblivious to his surroundings, and completely insane by most standards. He tends to talk to himself out loud and not make a lot of sense when speaking to others, and will usually wander off in the middle of a conversation. It is obvious that he is not quite like everyone else. But, sometimes he seems like he knows exactly what's going on and going to happen before anyone else does. He has a sharp, biting wit when he chooses to use it, as well.

Legendaries:
Species: Ho-Oh
Name: Wilde
Gender: Male
Personality: Wilde is an artist at heart, and tends to have a very 'flowy' way of speaking. He has a flair for the dramatic, and tends to overreact, but is otherwise quite a nice guy. He hates to be dirty, wet, or ruffled, and will sulk dramatically until he gets bored or he stops getting payed attention to, and will fix himself.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have our Cloudcuckoolander!

Owls are awesome, unless they zap my sentries. :C

First things first, a female Registeel wouldn't make sense. I want it to make sense. But I knew Giratina should be considered female, the name says enough. GiraTINA.

Second things first. Since legendaries are the only ones of their kinds, their species name are the real names. I didn't even plan to have nicknames an option to begin with.

Either way,

Crazy Linoone reserved, Zora Of Termina accepted, Articuno not accepted, you didn't write enough, Full Metal Cookies accepted and Kusarigamaitachi reserved.

My fail form is done. Hmm, Blastoise, do you think you could be my character's older brother or something? ^^ I would do my best to drive Rik crazy

Normal Pokémon

Name: Sam

Age: 8 in Pokemon years (for Sandshrews/Sandslashes, that's probably about 8 months or so)

Gender: Male

Species: Sandshrew

Appearance: At about 2'1" tall and 35 lbs, Sam is a rather plump individual, but otherwise, he's relatively well-described as a normal Sandshrew

Possessed Appearance: The 'cracks' among his armored back and limbs start to glow a pulsing green. His eyes also glow red. Sam becomes a Ground/Dragon type when possessed, but still cannot fly. He can, however leap tall buildings trees in a single bounce, and gains some control over the wind by farting

Personality: Sam is rather docile and naive. He is quick to make friends, and slow to figure out if friends aren't really helpful. He loves to eat, especially many different kinds of sweet berries.

Other: Look for the numbers #3 and #5 in Appearance. Oh, and 7 is missing from the rules;)

Legendaries

Species: Rayquaza

Gender: Male

Personality: A far cry from Sam's... Rayquaza normally tries to stay away from others, and when he does make contact, he's very aggressive and quick to anger and attack. Rayquaza is very serious about whatever he feels is his mission, which in this case, is defeating the Unknown force, and finally eating getting out of this little mouse's body.

Normal Pokémon
Name: Saburo

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Species: Rattata

Appearance: Normal Rattata.

Possessed Appearance:
GiratinaRattata.png

Tell me if it's not accepted.

Personality: Saburo is somewhat playful, and often acts stupid when he knows he can do better. He is, however, serious with the situation, and somewhat serious in battles. He is a hard worker, and is often the one to volunteer when there's work needed to do. When he's possesed, he becomes much more serious and a good fighter in battles.

Biography: Nothing out of the ordinary. He is the third son of the family, which explains his name "Saburo" Which means "The third son" in Japanese.

Other: He is the #3 son, he also lo0ves- Hey DON'T ZAP MY SENTRIES!

Legendaries:
Species: Giratina

Gender: Male

Personality: Giratina is easily agitated, and therefore hates trainers who seek to catch him. But he is also grateful and helpful to those who deserve.

*Sigh.*

The appearance is fine, I pretty much meant it to be like that. There's one thing that bugs me, and that is that I consider, and actually wrote in the story that Giratina is female, I can change it, of course, but still..

Hmm... Well, I prefer Giratina to be male... but... Ugh, female Giratina just seems wrong to me, for some reason. If it's not too much of a problem, can you change it, I mean... I can of course change it so that Giratina is a female but...

I can change it if it bothers you a lot, but the choice is really up to you. The character might be a bit more interesting in a sense if it's female, but you can choose.

Normal Pokémon
Name: Blade

Age: 23 years

Gender: Male

Species: Gallade

Appearance: Normal-looking Gallade

Possessed Appearance: The crest on his head becomes a darker shade of blue similar to that of Latios; eyes and chest protrusions change to blue also (will post a sprite eventually).

Personality: Very competitive, but loyal and usually courteous. Rarely shows more than brief glimpses of emotion, and usually reluctant to reveal things about himself.

Biography: (may provide later; can't think of one right now)

Other: Provided they don't zap my sentries, owls are generally awesome.

Legendaries:
Species: Latios

Gender: Male

Personality: Calm and usually reluctant to fight, but is willing to help if needed.
