• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Presidency Gone Wrong

Masquerade plunged in the ocean with her, and found an Eevee, fainted. Help me get her on dry land! she telepathed to the Cherrim as she grabbed the Eevee.

Lachlan found his way to the store, owned by a Mawile named Onna. The loud sign told everyone to come right in, unless their hair was on fire. He chuckled at the line, he also being a steel Pokemon. He walked inside. There, lo and behold, was the Water Stone Party candidate, Blozz. Lachlan, however difficult that was, tried to keep a low profile. He was here to eat, not debate. He also spotted a Spheal, who was asking for a paper. Lachlan grinned some at that, readership was always nice.

"Well, I have seeds, orbs, and some special Pokemon-exclusive items too!" Koro told Kari. "The special Pokemon items are pretty expensive, though. Take a look around."

Blozz, doing a happy dance to himself, turned around and spotted none other than the journalist, Lachlan. "Hey, you're the reporter! I'm doin' my best for the press!" And then he raised his hands to the sky, chuckling.

"Does that mean we can poke her harder?" I said playfully as I pushed on her stomach area. "Now... I've never learned mouth-to-mouth, do you know?" Masquerade teased.

Dan crawled out of his pond to visit Koro's shop.

"Anything I might be interested in?" he asked. He was surprised on how well he did on land, not saying it was the first time.

Lachlan turned to the candidate, and grinned wryly as he shook his head, "The press is here to tell the world what and how you screwed up, that's all. For instance, if you fail to deliver on campaign promises if the people elect you, well, we're here to pick you apart 'cause of that.", he said to the Ludicolo. He turned back to Onna, again uninterested, and asked, "Got any scrap metal? I'm famished." He felt absent-minded after that one, he didn't see any scrap metal lying around.

"Hmmm, sorry, I don't have any Gyarados items..." Koro told Dan. "Is there anything else you might be interested in?"

"Hey, do ya have any items that would help out a Houndoom, Absol, Mightyena, or an Umbreon in here?" Kari asked, hoping she had enough to get at least one if any were avalible, since Koro warned her that the Pokemon-specific items were expensive.

"That's what I was asking you," Dan boomed (as usual), with a hint of humor in his voice. "I'm not asking for Gyarados-specific items. But there could possibly be something..."

Surprised and awakened by the commotion going on at the shop (Niko always is annoyed by Dan), Niko (a sceptile) came out of his small hut and asked what was happening, and if he could help. "I have a small shop near here. There are plenty of items of different sorts that I have in there. Reccomendations of items are appreciated!"

"Well, Gyarados, I have some seeds and orbs for sale. And I have a special Dark Pokemon item," Koro said to both of his customers. He went in the back of the store and came back with an item. "Dark dust. It'll boost your defense," he said.

"Dark dust? Perfect! Our whole team is made of Dark-types!" She paused, thinking if Kandi would want this or not. Of course! "How much?"

"Alright, Cherrim. Stay here, I'll go get some help." Masquerade said before going to the village.

Onna grabbed a few apples from a shelf and handed them to the Ludicolo and threw a newspaper in the general direction of the Pokemon who'd asked for one. She went behind the counter and set three metal statues of a Teddiursa on it.
"I have this. Does that count as scrap metal?"

Masquerade walked into Onna's shop. "Hello. Got an Eevee who drowned out there, and is still alive. Is there anyone who can help?"
