Skyward Sword!

Mr. Moon

You can't eat me! I'm Herbert Moooooon!
So?
Who's getting this amzing flagship title? Eh? Looks like it's going to be amaaaaziiing!~

MUST GET MUST GET MUST GET. Of course, not until after Christmas, when I have moniez. Bleargh one of the few (in my opinion) bad things about being twelve.

BAAAAAA BA BA BAAAAAA BAA BAA BAA BAA BAAAAAA BAA BAAA BA BA BA BAAA BAAAA

I'm so hyped for this game I think I'm gonna explode. Pre ordered the collector's edition back in october, And I've been practicing my swordplay with a plastic broadsword I bought at halloween.

I can't wait for the game, can't wait for the gold wiimote, can't wait for the concert CD, I'm so hyped. I've never been this excited.

Note how much I love swords. And The Legend of Zelda.

Anyone interested at a sneek peek, here's a boss battle (not many spoilers, just the charachter's intro.)

*sigh*
I wish I could get the Collector's Edition. ;_;
I only pre-ordered the game. :D

I pre-ordered the Gold Pack or something, which apparently comes with the CD and the WiiMotionPlus thing which I don't actually have, so.

I'm looking to see if this will be the first traditional Zelda title I'll be able to complete. I...suck at Zelda.

My preorder of the Collector's Edition shipped the other day. I AM IMPATIENT. >:(

I'm most probably getting it for Christmas. I'm pretty sure my parents have ordered it already.

I've set myself the challenge of completing every Zelda game I own that I haven't yet completed (except Zelda II :( ) before I get it.

Really looking forward to it for many reasons. I've set myself the challenge of completing every Zelda game I own that I haven't yet completed (except Zelda II :( ) before I get it.
This.
...But I haven't actually started yet because I keep getting pulled into rounds of LoL. But NO MAS. I shall beat ALL OF THEM!
In 4 days. Yes.

I... Haven't actually preordered or anything. I gotta wait till Christmas. :C

Preordered it on October. Not counting today, we have 3 MORE DAYS! :D

I'll be honest though, I always thought Ghirahim looked ridiculous ever since he was shown. Oh well, maybe he'll pull a Vaati and turn into a cool demon or something. And there is still that "master" he's referring to.

The only reason I am not playing right now is because my hand hurts from holding the Wii remote for so long. Almost nine hours play time though~

I have my copy in my bag but I can't play it because I'm in London until tomorrow. :( The Wiimote is pretty. :3

2 days for us americans!

Frosty I'm so ridiculously jealous right now. To ask though, how user-friendly/awesome are the 1:1 sword mechanics?

They're pretty fun. I spent ages walking around enjoying the novelty of it. They're not perfect though; stabbing is kind of dodgy and if you don't have the camera behind you it can be confusing sometimes. I think the biggest problem I've faced so far are fighting skulltulas because you have to stab them in the back while they're spinning, which means at a very specific time, and if you miss, they'll likely go smashing into you.
But otherwise, they work fine and definitely add to the game.
I'm just after the first dungeon at the moment (That was a pretty fucking awesome boss battle), so I have high hopes for the rest of the game.

trust me, you won't be disappointed
EDIT: okay maybe you'll be disappointed by the third boss. i certainly was, for how short and easy it was

this game is friggin fantastic. not just the sword controls, but flying is great. and swimming underwater is also very nice too; you can do a nifty little spin underwater and use it to sort of dolphin jump out of the water. so far the whip is my favorite tool, even if not as cool or useful as the clawshot. i'm already at the fifth dungeon, and everything just keeps getting better

seriously, i think everyone has to go play this game. and if they don't have a Wii yet, then go get one and play this game

I'm up to the second area, and it's living up to the hype. I'm not exactly a Zelda veteran (only ever completed OoT3D, go me etc) but I'm loving this... although it may be hard to go back and play the others for the first time after how perfect this is shaping up to be.

...Except bomb rolling. Fucking bomb rolling.

I fly like both me and my bird are drunk, and it took me a million tries to land properly in a circle. Also, I flail around like a graceless idiot when fighting but I don't care!

This game is wonderful and I love it to pieces and I'm not even below the clouds yet. We had guests over and the television was claimed afterwards for movies and now my grandmother wants to watch all her soaps and nnngh, but if I move the wii upstairs then the graphics will look pathetic on my incredibly crappy, tiny tv.
