Open SPECTROBES: A New Era

Vai nodded, and got out her excavation tools.
"Okay, Valour, stand back a bit." She shattered the surface of the ground ((right?)) and started to excavate the mineral.
((Uh, right?))
 
((Right.))

Frederick's mineral was blocky and green, shimmering with its hardness. A Defense B mineral shone through the stone.

Below Vai's feet was a rather quirky mineral, with a hook on one end. It looked like a Defense mineral, but like a Health mineral at the same time. The Fluorite glowed yellow with a luster that signaled value.

Star nodded. These people, she hoped, were good at excavating.
 
((Awesome.))
Vai picked the Flourite out of the ground and put it in her bag. Valour nodded each of her heads at Vai, and looked at the sky.
 
((You're supposed to tell how you excavate it, but I'll let it go for this time, since I'm sure we're all careful.))

Star nodded to Vai, waiting for Frederick to start.
 
Carefully, Frederick excavated the mineral. His strokes were quick, crossing the mineral. It came close to chipping a few times, and did once, but he managed and placed it in his case.
 
"All right, we should continue," Star said, heading west. "There will be a few black vortexes in our way, so we should probably battle carefully."

((Feel free to say if you run into a vortex and type out the battle. The only Krawl in this area that I can remember are Creebag and Bagrach. Tell me if you remember the other one.))
 
((Ooh ooh I wanna fight want fight! :o I'll just go with Creebag and Bagrach.))

Vai looked to her left and saw a black vortex stalling. She nodded to herself, and smiled to the others.
"I'll be back," she called, and charged into the vortex. Kibeth and Storm jumped out of her Prismod, and Vai ran around the outside of the vortex, getting ready for an Aura Storm((I think that's what it's called?)). When her Prismod told her the attack was fully charged, Kibeth and Storm loosed a giant burst of energy that blasted the two Krall back.
