• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Spirits return...

Vanish looked around. The Rock Tunnel loomed behind him, as if it were some gigantic predator waiting to eat him. The Dusclops stomped toward Lavender Town, but didn't make any noise due to being a ghost. Trainers were looking around, but the ghost had faded out of view and thus couldn't be seen. The town was distant, but close at the same time... he continued on.

Mark stopped at a stream, panting and gasping heavily. Hr took several long drinks from the tricking stream, and then opened up his bag. He pulled out a large, juicy Watmel Berry and bit into it with his sharp teeth. He sunk his vines into the holes he had made and peeled a lot of the thick, tasteless skin off. He took a bite of the sweet, newly exposed red fruit and opened his bulb. After a few minutes of lounging about in this fashion, Marks stood up and climbed a tree. He began to swing like he did earlier, and eventually arrived on top of a large hill overlooking a field, and, in the distance the gloomy blob that was Lavender Town.

It was sunset now. Firebird began flitting towards Lavender Town. It was somewhat far away, but still, she could make it. The setting sun felt nice on her back as she used echolocation to find her way over the ground. She didn't want to go too high, in case she couldn't hear her echoes, so she stayed near the ground. Finally, she found a ridge on the roof of a house just inside Lavender Town and hung there, waiting for the others.

Xhan sighed in relief. "Finally..." He stumbled over the last few rocks, and fell over on the grass. He began to crawl towards the large Tower near him, and sat behaind it. He rubbed his aching feet for a few moments, then began to nod off. Before long, he was sleeing peacefully.

Derish was on the outskirts of Lavender. It was dusk. He was amazed at the time he'd made. He wished he could see one again, it would be so nice just to feel normal for a few days.

Moon walked silently through the Dusk to Lavender Town and saw the large Pokemon Tower. He circled it a few times, and saw a sleeping Lucario. He sat next to it, but did not disturb it.

With her echo vision, Firebird saw two new shapes; one two-legged and about twice as tall as her, and the other four-legged and cat-like, or was it dog-like?
Cautiously, she asked, "A-are you two of the ones that were told to meet here?"

As Vanish reached the tower, he knew exactly what he would do. Silently, he sneaked inside and fell asleep on the third floor.

Xhan suddenly jumped, looking back and forth rapidly. "WHA-WHO-WHE-WHERE?" He leaped to his feet, and jumped against the wall. He stopped for a moment, and thought things over. Then he began to calm down....Stupid paranioa.... "Uh.... Well, yeah, by my Grandpa... But.... What the HECK are you guys doing here? Seriously, no sarcasm..."

Derish came out of the blackness to left of the voices. Derish had been there several minutes and had been resting quietly. He heard the question "What the HECK are you guys doing here?" Derish smiled and answered imeditaly, "My Grandfather sent me here. He said to take orders from a Lucario. Is that you?"

Xhan looked around, hoping that another Lucario was near so that he could tell a lie for once. "Uh.... I hope not.... Maybe my Grandpa had another friend of his who was a Lucario?.... Please!" He muttered to himself. Although he knew that his Grandpa had told HIM to be the leader. Biggest mistake of his life... The old kook never should have tortured me like this...

"My grandfather sent me here, too," Firebird said, amazed. "So you are part of the group, huh? But why are we here? Oh, sorry, let me introduce myself." She flitted out from under the eaves of the house and hovered a few feet in front of the two-legged one's face. "I'm Firebird."

Erican stole through the night, er, well, dusk. "I'm lucky to have gotten away from Mewtwo at this hour!" he muttered to himself as he made hs way to Lavender's Tower.

"Hmm, I can tell your not the leader type, Lucario." Moon said, "It's a good thing, then, that they weren't talking of you." Moon teased.

Mark had been walking through the fields when he heard a cry from a Pokemon. Tweaking his ears, Mark hopped over to the Tower, looking around. His grandmother had told him to come here and that he would see a Lucario that he was supposed to listen to. He spotted the lupine Pokemon, along with, to his suprise, a few other Pokemon. He walked up to the Lucario and said in a quiet voice, not making eye contact,"Are you the Lucario my Grandma Blossom told me to meet here?"

Erican finally made it to the tower. "So what's going on here?" he asked, sitting down as doing so.

Midnight, you're accepted. Just don't procrastinate the biography.

Xhan's face went red under his fur. "Uh..." He had no reply to Moon, and hoped that he wasn't the only Lucario. Pretty much everyone was expecting him to do something. So he came up with the best thing he could. Which was incredibly pitiful. "Um... See, well, my Grandpa told me that we start searching Lavender town for some sort of hint at the thing, then we find things and find whatever gets rid of them, then the things go.... away..." He felt his eyes begin to burn. Again. He fought them back, refusing to let others see how sensitive he was. He had to act strong, and look tough if anyone here would trust him. Or even LIKE him, for that matter. After a few moments of not knowing what to do, he simply turned around, and began banging his head against the tower. Stupid, stupid, STUPID!!! His brain yelled at him. Then a few tears came. The pain was a good excuse.

Mark was feeling, well, embarassed for the Lucario. Suddenly, he turned to the oddly-colored Zubat, and, hoping to draw attention away from the Lucario, said in a loud voice, "Hi, I'm Mark! Who are you?"

(I know. Mika gets used to him soon enough.)

Mika ran along, her paws pounding the ground. Lavender Town...That's the destination. Shouldn't take too, too long. Hopefully. She stopped, drank from a river, and ran again. The fur that was hanging over her headband was getting her eyes, and on her nerves. Get out of my face! Now!She stopped on a rock, and layed onit. She would rest a minute for moving on, she decided.
