• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Stolen Humanity

((Philly, you have to actually defeat a foe before evolving. You can't just attack over and over.))

Kalick looked at the Ninjask.

"Do we evolve?" he asked the she-Absol.

She shook her head. "We're fine how we are."

He nodded. "That's that."

He turned to her again. "What's your name?"

"Soru," she answered curtly.

((Actually, the Ninjask said he evolved in a cage, as in without an enemy, and MG didn't seem to have a problem with it.))

Arg! All the good RP's start fast when I'm not here. :(
If I can still join:

Name: Echo
Age: 16
personality: PO
Appearance: Not really needed...

((Kay then, never mind. The Staraptor is a Staravia.))

Gale looked up again, admiringly at the brave bird. Skylar paid no attention, but then nodded at Gale.

Gale began to practice her flying, which was hard because of her tiny wings. How could a bird like this even survive? She let out a screech of frustration.

Skylar flinched at her loud noise. "Calm down, I can help you. Sparring?"

She nodded shyly and took a battle stance.

"You move first," the Staravia offered.

Gale wasn't sure what to do, so she just flew towards Skylar and pecked him.

Skylar moved extremely fast and slammed into Gale in retaliation.

The Spearow let out a cry of pain and pecked Skylar again. She couldn't come to glare at her friend.

((A Pokémon doesn't evolve from battling, it evolves from the experience earned in battling, experience can be earned by training by yourself, nuff said))

((Are Echo and I accepted?))

((I just forgot to mention it))

The thief once again talked in his phone, sitting in his office, on his desk was a glass of water, a bunch of pills and a empty syringe.
"Yes I'm so sorry boss" he said to the man in the phone, "I'm sure they won't be a problem, I sent Houndooms to the forest, so they should take care of the problem" He was then quite, then said "me? Tomorrow? The Main Headquarters?" He then scratched his head, "I'll make sure it happens sir" He turned of the phone and yelled to a guard: "Get a removal van ready, I have to get all my stuff with a boat tomorrow!"

((I know, but she can still spar, can't she?))

Finally, Gale sat down. Seeing she was tired, Skylar roosted too.

Gale sighed, burying her head in her small wing. What were they to do now? How would they get out of this? All she wanted was to be home again... being a bird was fun, but if she couldn't fly, it wasn't. But if she "evolved" like that bug had said.

"Tekkanin?" She asked it. The word just seemed to fit.

After about another 2 or 3 hours of training Dr. Lehrer finally started feeling special. He started glowing. He was evolving. "BLAZE!" he yelled, as soon as he stopped glowing. "Well, that took long enough. But I'm finally a Blaziken." He then started to shoot fire from his mouth and wrists at the same time, something he had taught his Blaziken to do back at the lab. He continued to train, hoping to become stronger.

"Tekkanin? I nicknamed my own Ninjask that" He answered, "I don't know what happened to him, thought" He seemed a bit sad, but suddenly he turned around, seeing three Houndooms coming from the bushes. "Shi- Guard Houndooms!" He yelled, and turned around to the rest, "Get ready, quick! these aren't normal Houndooms, they're especially trained to hunt and kill enemies!"

"Wow!" Gale cried. Something inside her switched her to battle mode, and she snapped, fiercely attacking one with Fury Attack. It aimed a Fire Fang, but she flitted out of the way. This time, it attempted to take her in its mouth and slice her in half, but she flew up and came down with an Aerial Ace onto its shoulder. The Fire/Dark type let out a howl of pain, and was joined by a second one.

Skylar flew into battle too. "Need some assistance?"

Gale nodded thankfully. "But we don't have time to chat," she said, letting out a Growl. It didn't have much effect, but at least it made the Houndooms' attacks less powerful.

"Let's get this done," said Kalick, and nodded at Soru. She nodded at him. They both knew what they were thinking, and it was the same thing: Attack.

Kalick didn't know how to use attacks, so he lashed forwards with his claws and hit the dog square on the muzzle. It howled in rage, and before he knew it, it had clamped down on his shoulder with fanged jaws. Instinctively he whirled around, tearing free of its grip and smacking it with the side of his tail. Soru took her chance and pounced forwards at the dazed Houndoom. Kalick watched as she slashed it with her darkly glowing claws. He didn't know what the attack was, but she looked at him and said "Night Slash."

He nodded and looked forwards. Eventually he would have to know how to use moves, but now wasn't the time to be taught by Soru. He jumped forwards, stumbling a bit (he wasn't used to four legs), and clawed it again. This time he struck it on its shoulder. Panting, he stood. The fur over his left shoulder was matted with blood, and he leaped into battle with the she-Absol once again.

Travis was hiding behind a rock, he had barely gotten used to using psychic powers, and they were already attacked? He couldn't do anything, just hide.

"Don't waste time on them! they're just decoys to stall us!" The Ninjask yelled, he knew this was trick, but he didn't know what they where meant for.

The Thief was put the last box into the removal van, "this should do" He said as he took out the car keys of his pocket, "I suppose I'll be a bit late if I wait until tomorrow"

Echo, who was rather immobile, had waited for the Thief to leave before he tried to escape.
I need to learn to levitate...
He hopped through the halls, making bell noises, until he found the exit. In the distance, he could see the tower of a church.
Guess that's my best bet...

As he was about halfway there, he heard the sounds of fighting, and without realizing it, he was in the air, drifting towards the battlefield.
