Open TEA-The Elemental Alliance

((Sorry it took so long. My computer probably has to get replaced, and it's still busted...))
Hari grumbled to herself,"Oh, joy, yet another patrol. At least it's easy..." She gathered all her things in her pack, ther Earthbended all the way to the docks. Since she rarely got to use it, this is how she usually got around.

Shin looked at the group in front of him. "Okay, well, let's get this over with." He boarded the balloon and invited the others on.

Within a few minutes, the group had left the base of TEA and were headed to the Southern Air Temple. Shin stayed in the Engine Room to elevate the balloon when it needed more height. Keeping out of sight of the Fire Nation was important. If their numbers were large, Shin could launch some kind of surprise attack to clear away troops with the balloon's bombing capabilities.

He whistled a happy tune to pass the time.

Lii leaned on the edge and made a small fireball, then started to play with it. She tossed it into the air, then caught it.
Lii looked over to Shin, and made the small fireball bigger. She toyed with it a bit longer before letting it go out.

"You people should stop playing with matches!" Xigbar sighed. "You might get burned." He knew that the others knew how to control their fire, but he might as well try to make an argument or conversation to pass the time.

Hari never liked these trips. As much as she hated to admit it, she was afraid of heights. All her bending was on the ground. But she couldn't tell anyone that. She cluched her bow and waited for it to end.

"Xigbar, stop. This trip is boring enough without you trying to fight someone. Save your energy for the Fire Nation."

"Wow, you can't take a joke. I know everyone here can control their bending just fine. You don't have to get so angry about it." Xigbar stared at the clouds. "Even if it's a bad joke that no one likes, it's still just a joke. No need to take it seriously." These trips seem to make people cranky, and me also a little cranky. I should stop, before anyone else gets mad at me. Xigbar was getting drowsy. He splashed himself with water, and shook his head. I hate patrol. And I hate the trips TO patrol.

Miara had followed the group silently. She had strapped on her flasks as soon as she found out about the patrol, and now she was making sure she had all of her knives. She had found that she did, so now she lifted her staff and began swinging it around, simply because she could. When she was finished, she looked around at the others. They all looked grumpy and annoyed. She sighed. She tossed her staff from hand to hand for a short while. Then, they arrived. "Great. Let's hope we actually get to do some fighting! Seriously!"

The balloon silently landed on the ground. Shin walked onto the solid ground. He was always a fan of flying, and even though he never shows it, he loves traveling via balloon. "Alright guys, I guess we should start scouting. Also remember, if you see any troops, don't take them on your own. We need to work as a team here, or we'll never improve. Meet back here in ten minutes." He started walking in a general direction, to show that everyone should split up.

"Oh, and remember, there will probably be some traps. Good luck!" Shin waved behind him and laughed.

Xigbar hopped out of the ballon, suddenly joyful. The trip was over, and now he just had to take a walk. "Well, this will be the hardest patrol yet!" He said sarcastically. He set off, chuckling to himself. I geuss I could use a walk after a ride in that balloon.

Lii jumped out of the ballon also and looked towards her right. She shrugged, looked back at Shin and started walking towards the right.

Mahzu followed the others out of the balloon and walked off into a side corridor. There were several holes in the ceiling, and the sunlight that poured through them illuminated several cavehoppers in the cracks in the wall. The light faded into darkness farther down the hall. I'm not just gonna walk in there without light! Mahzu unsheathed his sword and positioned it in the light. The swords icy facets refracted and multiplied the light by a hundredfold, shining light down the previously dank and depressing hallway. Looking down the illuminated passage, Mahzu saw a cave-in not too far in. The stone walls had cracked over time and fallen in a heap of rubble and debris. Turning back around, he sheathed his sword and ran back out the passageway. Drawing water out of one of the canteens he had brought, Mahzu seperated the liquid into three round globes, and then froze them. He began to juggle as he walked, sometimes turning the globes into liquid water. Putting all but one away, Mahzu unfroze the remaining globe and drank it. Wondering how the others were doing, he decided to climb up the building and look from up there. Drawing out more water, he proceeded to form handholds from the water, and began to climb.

Miara nodded and walked off. "This should be fun." she said. She sighed. She began looking around. A fire nation soldier was standing on the other side of a pillar. Just one man. This confused Miara. She had one hand hanging by her side, the other was collecting water from the air on her fingertips. She looked around. There was no one else to be seen. She walked towards the man, slowly and carefully, being careful not the make any noise. She got behind him. He was leaning on the pillar. He didn't notice her. If she had been surprised before, she was shocked now. Because, as she turned her head, nine more soldiers came into view. Ten of them. She knew she couldn't take them all. They all just looked bored. She hoped they hadn't seen her. She began to walk backwards. She fell into a pit. "Dammit!!!" She yelled. She was done playing nice. She pulled all of the water out of the air and earth around her and froze it. She climbed the ice quickly, then melted it all. "To hell with every SINGLE ONE of you STUPID fire nation soldiers!! I'll take you there PERSONALLY!!! With all the sh*t you give us I'm surprised--SH*T!!" She screamed, running towards them. She spoke the last word after a rope wrapped around her ankle and flipped her upside-down. She was now suspended ten feet in the air by a thin rope. She continued cursing and threatening, but her training had a slight effect on her actions. The fire nation soldiers began gathering around her, laughing. Some of them shot fire at her. Her hair caught on fire. That was the last straw. She got a grip, but she kept thrashing and cursing. In her rigid motions, she carefully grabbed a knife in each hand. Her aim was deadly to say the least. Two of the soldiers fell to the ground, dead. Only a moment later she cut the rope holding her there. She landed safely on a fire nation soldier. She covered his face in ice with water from the air and he died from deprivation of air momentarily. "Anyone ELSE wanna try me you f*cking sh*t-bred soldiers???" she demanded loudly.

Lii noticed a few soldiers and hid. She started whistling like a bird to get their attention.
"Did you hear that, Bob?"
"Sure did, Steve."
Bob? Steve? Lii thought, and watched the two come towards her hiding space. The girl whipped out her sword and ran out of her hiding place. Bob and Steve started to chase after her and they started throwing fire balls at her.
Lii turned back to them and charged, thrusting her sword at them and screaming. They dodged the sword and Lii threw a few balls of fire at them, catching a nearby tree on fire.
"Oh, frack." Lii said, trying to sound like Starbuck. She tried to do something that her father teached her years ago, before Ino went evil. She sucked in air and tried blowing it at the soldiers, but only a few embers spat out from her mouth.
Bob and Steve laughed and called for help.
Three other soldiers came running to their sides and made jets of fire shoot out at Lii. It hit dead-on, causing slight burns.
Lii fell down on her stomach, and the soldiers pinned her down.
"Get off of me!!" She squealed. "Help!"

Miara heard Lii's shout. Then, she saw Lii. She glanced at the soldiers surrounding her. She broke out of the circle and approached the men attacking Lii. "How low can you get? Seriously, attacking HER?" she demanded. "She can hardly fight back. If you've got anything but brainwashing fluid in those empty skulls of yours you'll come over here and fight me now. Unless you want to just die. Not that your pathetic brains could come up with a better way to die, but, I'm sure you'd like to live to see tomorrow and be able to serve the fire lord by saving his life. We'll be raiding the palace tomorrow, you know." Miara continued, lying at every chance she got while still making it look good. The soldiers were irritated, if not outraged by Miara's words. She smiled. She loved to sting the wasps. It surprised them so much, they could never really recover. Not before she killed them, at least. "So? Do you have enough sense of self-preservation to bite what will bite you back?" she demanded. The soldiers didn't need any more prompting. They began attacking Miara. And so did the soldiers she had just abandoned. She ducked as they began to attack. She tripped one. A knife pierced another's throat. The attacks began to refocus onto the spot where Miara actually was. She stood. She didn't stop moving from that point, not even for a second. She dodged. That was it. She got a few burns, but mostly she just dodged almost everything they could throw at her.

Shin was already inside a cavern, with a door-block trap, so he couldn't hear the struggled screams of his comrades. "Well... How do I make it out of here?" He scratched his head and created a small fire on his fingertips. Shin gasped slightly, after realizing what was in the room. He made the fire slightly bigger to see it all.

It was a giant pit, that seemed to strangely lead back into the air. If Shin had walked any further, he would have fallen in, and surely died. "Man, this place is dangerous!" Across the pit he could see an exit, but it seemed to be blocked by some rock formation. After a sigh, Shin ran and jumped across the pit, boosting himself with small flames on his hands and feet. It went well, until he stopped the flames, at which point he stumbled and rolled onto the ground. He groaned slightly, until out of nowhere, a fire started in the middle of the platform he had landed on.

There, standing before the exit, was the rock formation he saw. Until he realized it was a real man. "Wh-who are you!?" Shin's voice cracked, which embarrased him. The man grinned.

"Shin. That's who you are, right? I've been waiting. Ready your sword." He uncrossed his arms and shifted into a fighting position. Shin eyes widened at the mention of his name. How did he know me? What is going on?

Xigbar stopped. He truned abrubtly. He thought he had heard a scream. And another. He ran back to where the balloon was, but saw the problem before he got there. Fire nation troops! Xigbar pulled water out of his pouch, and silently, made his way to the group of soldiers. Ah, crap! Looks like the others got caught up without me. He froze the water into ice shards, with success. Wow, I didn't think that would work. Xigbar threw the Ice Shards, impaling a few soldiers. "Who told you to start without m-AHH!!!" Xigbar barely dodged a fire blast. He drew his sword, and charged. Unfortunatley, a soldier just side-stepped, and kicked him in the rear. Xigbar's sword fell on the ground. Xigbar tried to reach for it, but a soldier picked it up. There goes my dramatic entrance for this battle. Xigbar took his remaining water, his drinking water, and splashed the soldier. He gave him a sharp kick in the gut, and tripped him. But, there were more troops. One grabbed his arm, and held them behind him. "LEGGO!!!" Xigbar flailed a bit, and kicked the man in the shin. Xigbar was knocked to the ground instantley. Well, I wanted exitement. Xigbar couldn't rake much more of this. Fire nation troops were too well trained for him.

Alsan walked silently from the balloon to a random direction. He heard a few screams that were certainly meant to offend. Miara... She can handle them. Mental note: don't forget to thank her. He took his weapon from his back and walked more stealthily.

He walked inside a cave and some corridors until he reached a door. Inside were Fire Nation soldiers. A few meters from the door, barrels full of explosives. How more stupidly convenient can this get? All too simple. He grabed a barrel, put a little fire inside and threw it in the room. He rushed to the way out and shot a fire missile that blocked the only escape. From outside the cave, Alsan heard the explosions and screams. That wasn't even fun... But I prefer life to fun. He quicked out of there, before it attracted too much attention.
