Open TEA-The Elemental Alliance

Lii was somewhat embarrassed about having somebody help her, but she asked for it. It made her look weak, and she bit back tears. What would Shin say?
Bob and Steve were now dead, along wih most of the other soldiers. She saw one soldier approaching Maira from behind and reading his sword to strike.
"Miara!" Lii screamed, before throwing another fireball at the soldier's face. He fell to the ground, screaming.

Mahzu reached the top, and saw, to his dismay, that Fire Nation soldiers had found some of the squad. Taking all of the water he had with him, he bent it out over the soldiers and surrounded about three of the with water. They panicked and soon choked. Pulling his water back up, Mahzu saw a soldier lift a sword over Miara's head, but Lii shot a fireball at his face. Mahzu ran to the lowest point on the building, a caved-in roof, and froze a slide of ice and went down it. He ran over to the others, sword unsheathed, ready for more soldiers. "Well, this is more exciting than expected!"

Shin barely had time to draw his sword before the man lept at him. He swung a fist at Shin, which he dodged by ducking. Shin tried to sweep the man to the floor with his leg, but the man jumped, and kicked Shin in the chin. Shin flew back a few feet and groaned as he hit the floor. "You're still too weak. We will meet again. Be ready next time." The man ran out of the room, and leapt off of a random cliff.

Shin, still confused about the events that took place, limped out of the room to look down the cliff face. There was no sign of the man. "What the heck just-" All of a sudden, a small group of soldiers came out from behind a corner. "Oh, crap"

The first soldier shot a small fire missle, which Shin deflected with his sword. Shin countered with a larger missle, which caused a couple soldiers to fall off of the cliff. Shin then rushed at the next soldier with his sword, knocking him off. The last soldier saw his chance, and pushed Shin over the cliff. Shin was surprised by the sudden assault, but he managed to grab the edge of the cliff to stop himself from falling. The soldier laughed, "Now, you die!". He readied his foot to smash Shin's fingers. Shin lit his hand with a small flame, growing bigger as the soldier tried to stomp on it. The flame burned the soldier's foot, which caused him to fall backwards, and Shin used this opprotunity to get back on stable ground. With a quick bash from Shin's sword, the soldier fell off of the cliff, to join his fellow soldiers at the bottom.

Shin moaned in pain and then chuckled as he said, "That's how it's done... I guess I should get back to the group now.", and with that, he hiked over the room with the pit, to get back to his friends.

Xigbar took a dive for his sword. He scrambled to his feet, sword in hand, and panted heavily. "I never was good in aero-AH!!!" Xigbar held his blade stiffly, and tried to push the soldier away. But he was young, and not as strong as the troop. "Crap..." Xigbar grunted. He kicked the soldier, and took his chance. He got behind him, and held his sword to his neck. "Should we keep him?" He asked.

A bit farther away, Hari was praticing. In this state of mind, she usually missed everything around her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw what happened. "Aw,
damnit...." She saw the Fire Nation soldier try to move. She responded quickly. Hari made the ground around the soldier rise, enveloping his legs. "Try to escape, idiot, and you'll take it with me. Got it, pal?" Hari growled.

As a soldier tried to kill her with his sword, and was knocked down by Lii, Miara decided it was time to switch tactics. Switch to the offensive, more specifically. She dodged another blast of fire, and in the same motion swung her leg into the ankles of a soldier, sending him to the ground, and threw a knife into the throat of another. Two more down. The rest of them came in closer. She flipped onto a handstand, and kicked two somewhere on their faces, not really caring where exactly she hit. Then, her left hand slid. Right into the trigger of yet another trap. The stones she was balanced on fell out from under her. She barely caught another one, but it fell too. For about ten yards around her, all of the stones were falling in. She screamed as she fell. Then, she averted to her usual methods. She began yelling every curse in her vocabulary, loudly, and in the most offensive tones she could come up with. And she knew many, many curses. Life on the street would provide one with many more curses and cusswords than most could ever put to use. Miara could use every, single one of them, and did on a regular basis. However, she shut up when the soldiers began falling. That was when she realized that she hadn't stopped falling. It had been almost a minute. She uncapped all of her flasks, and drew the water out of them. She created a sheet of ice below herself, then crashed through it. It hardly slowed her fall. She looked down. She couldn't see the bottom of the pit. She passed out.

Lii's eyes widened.
"Miara.." She mumbled. The used her sword to deflect any fire blasts that came towards her, then looked down at the pit. She couldn't see the bottom. She gulped and slashed part of a soldier's arm, probably taking off a hand or some fingers.
Lii gasped in a bunch of air, as if going to dive into the sea, and jumped into the pit after Miara. She fell the first ten feet eagle-spread, then made her body like a torpedo, bring in arms to her side and her legs straight together. She closed her eyes and then opened them, taking in another gasp of air.
She blew a small jet of fire from her mouth at the wall, which propelled her to the other side of the pit. When she hit the pit wall, she quickly drew her sword and stuck it into the wall, stopping her from falling. She looked down, and still saw nothing. She looked up and saw a tiny opening of light.
"Frack..." She murmered to herself.

Xigbar was taken by surprise as a soldier hit him in the back. Apperently, he didn't want to take chances and hurt the hostage. Xigbar let go of his hostage, and was tripped the next second. He spun on his back, tripping the two man, and tackled one. He quickly removed the man's helmet and began punching his face nonstop. He had had enough of this. Then two fingers from behind jabbed the base of his neck. Xigbar struggled to get up, but knocked back down. Fire was dangeroulsy close to his face. No water. No sword. Two against one. I'm gonna make it... unless I do this! Xigbar sprung to his feet, kicking one solider on the way up. He took hold of the other man, and wrestled him to the ground. Here goes... Xigbar tried to take the water from the air, but couldn't do it. He was attacked by the other soldier. He had been tackled, and he and the troop were rolling like a ball. Xigbar thought that this might be his only chance to live, and when he was at the bottom, he kicked upwards as hard as he could. The man flew off of him. And Xigbar ran towards him to finish the job. But Xigbar didn't see the net on the ground until he was in it. "Just my luck..." He said as the two soldiers approached the net, fire dancing above their fingertips.

In a blur of motion, Mahzu froze some of the water he was levitating and flung the icy darts at the Fire Nation soldiers that were advancing on Xigbar. As blood flowered from their chests, he dashed over to the trap and cut Xigbar down. Stepping over to the gaping hole, Mahzu yelled," CAN ANYONE HERE ME?

Lii heard Mahzu's voice.
"Mahzu! I'm okay, but I have no idea about Miara! I can't see her!" She yelled back up.

Alsan ran to the source of the noise. Xigbar and Mazhu were near a pit, looking down, and Alsan managed to hear what Lii said. He screamed to her "Can you go down and look for her?"

Lii heard Alsan's voice as well and yelled back up to him, "You got it, Aslan!"
She pulled her sword out from the wall and starting falling down agian. She fell at least ten more feet until making a fire ball in her hands, which lit up the pit. The floor right below her.
She made a small jet of fire come from her hands and aimed it at the bottom. It slowed her down, but she then fell hard to the ground.
"Ow."
She looked back up and saw the small dot of light.
"I'm okay! I've reached the bottom!" She screamed back up before looking around to see if Miara was there.

"Want help?" Alsan asked, worried. Lii was young - although everyone in the squad was younger than him - and she had some problems in her bending. He saw a lot of Vic - his deceased younger sister - in Lii, but he wasn't sure he wanted to make that connection. He had no real friends for a long time, because he was afraid of losing them. Just like I lost my family. "Lii, do you want me to go down there?" he shouted again.

Lii looked back up and yelled, "Sure! Help would be good!"
She noticed a few shards of ice on the floor and picked them up. She had a picture in her mind of Miara trying to make an ice sheild of some sort.

Miara groaned on the other side of the pit. She was covered in ice. Quite a few shards had pierced her skin. She heard Lii's voice. What was Lii doing in the pit, she wondered. She could take care of herself--usually. Everyone in the squad knew that. She sat up, and managed to get an ice shard stuck in her arm. She groaned, and melted all of the ice shards around her. Then, she looked around, and used her bending to lift the water around her. She healed a the gashes in her arms. Finally, she wondered why she hadn't brought any flint because she had no way to see in the darkness of the pit. "Lii? Is that you?" she asked.

Lii heard Miara and made a fireball. She could see better now, and saw the Water bender on the sitting on the ground.
"It's me, Miara. Are you okay?" She asked.

Alsan got his weapon and a small torch from his back and bag, respectively. He lit up the torch, put it in his mouth and jumped to the hole. Piercing the wall with his naginata's blade, he slided to the bottom where Lii and Miara were. "So, is everybody alright?" he said, his words barely understandable through the torch on his mouth.

Miara nodded. "I'm glad it's you. But...what are you doing down here?" As Aslan arrived, she turned to him. "Well, I think I'm alright...and what are YOU doing down here? Don't you think I can get out of a pit by myself?" she asked. Then, she tried to stand, and screaming pain shot through her right leg. "Dammit!!" she hissed. She tried again, gripping the edge of the pit for support. Her leg collapsed underneath her. "Never mind, I can't get out by myself." she said.

Meanwhile, Hari buried the Fire Nation soldier, making him fall to his doom. Stupid scum... she thought. Then she heard Mahzu. She ran over. This was her chance to make up. She skidded over to the edge of the pit, and jumped. Hari bended some earth to make some kind of board, which she got on. She took a breath, and tried to control it.
She reached the bottom. "Everyone on!" she yelled. She made sure Lii, Aslan, and Miara were on the earth-board, and Earthbended the board up.
