• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open TEA-The Elemental Alliance

As Hari and the others rose out of the pit, Mahzu bent the water he had used back into the canteens. "Is everyone okay?" he asked, glancing around at the dead soldiers around them.

"Well, what do we do now?" Xigbar asked, sheathing his sword. He rubbed his arm. It was sore from breaking his falls all the time. It isn't bad. It won't be sore by tomorrow.

Miara shrugged. "Go home and report, I guess. Or, we can stay here discussing it." Once again, she tried to stand, biting her lip as she did to keep from screaming as pain shot through her leg as it crumpled underneath her. "Guess I won't be walking any time soon." she mumbled.

"Well, I think we should just stay for however long TEA wants us to. We might as well. Besides, you can never spend to much time practicing bending!" Xigbar getting cheerier, now that everything was calmed down, and they weren't on the balloon. "That, and I need to find a spring or something.

"Well, it's not like they want us to just stay here for one day. But I'm not sure. Okay, I'm gonna' go look for water. There has to be some around here." Xigbar said.

Drawing his water from the canteens, Mahzu coated one arm in water and pulled out his sword with the other. Forming tentacle-like apppendages with the water, he swiped his left arm in an arc, flinging darts of liquid into the air, which he froze and lifted into a vertical line. The icy needles swarmed down upon him, whistling in the light breeze. Whipping his blade above him, he shattered all but three of the projectiles. He needed to work on his swordplay. Stopping the ice in midair, Mahzu melted the water and started to practice waterbending.

Hari was concentrating deeply. She closed her eyes. Waiting.
Since Toph was her great-great grandmother, once Hari closed her eyes and concentrated deeply, she could see with Earthbending. Hari wasn't blind or anything, but to her, it was amazing.
Although they were they only humans there, Hari felt everything. Time seemed to slow,to freeze. In this way, she could try the new move.
Expertly, she rose large earth mounds from the field. She leaped up. The mounds closed in. Hari daintily landed on top. A faint smile was ecthed on her lips. The Earthbender broke the mounds with an agile shot from her bow.

Xigbar tapped the ground in front of him. He didn't want to fall into a trap. He turned a blind corner, and found what he was looking for. A small spring. Xigbar sheathed his sword, and ran towards it. A few feet away from it, he was pulled up by a rope, and was dangling there the next second. Xigbar bended the water, and cut the rope. He landed on his arm, and it was starting to hurt. He filled all of his canteens with water, and made his way back to the others. He bended his water out of his bending canteen, and formed it into the shape of a sword. He froze it, making sure it was solid, but blunt. "Hey, Mahzu? You want to spar with me?" He asked. You're not the only one who needs practice.

Lii decided it would be good to practice Firebending also, and she got right to work.
There was one move that she was trying to use, how to breathe a strong flame. She tried concentrating on only herself, and focusing on the fire inside her. She felt it start to rise up into her throat, and prepared herself.
She let loose only a small flame that set a small bush on fire. She jumped and ran over to it, hopping around it, not knowing what to do.
"Oh, God." She kept repeating, the flames licking at her feet as she danced around the bush.

Alsan walked calmly to Lii and manipulated the fire burning the bush with bending. He rose it to the air and started moving it in circles and eights, only moving his hand. He started sucking the air and swallowed the flames. Then turned back and moved away from her to a clearing.

Drawing his weapon, he closed his eyes. Immediatly, dozens of soldiers appeared around him. An horizontal strike, and three heads flew from their necks. He striked, sliced, blocked and swiped with his long weapon, but for each dead soldier there were two more.

Alsan opened his eyes and returned to reality. Realizing he was covered in sweat, he sat under the shade of a tree.

Miara groaned. She drew all of the water she had out of her flasks. There wasn't much. She drew as much water as she could out of the air, and began to heal her leg with it.

Lii said "Thanks." as Aslan walked by and sat under a tree in a nearby clearing. She lookd at the charred bushed and sighed. It was the second thing she torched today.
Lii decided to try and train in a nice area where nothing would be set on fire agian.
She found herself in a charred area with no trees or any other plantlife. It seemed like some Fire soldiers had used it before, and Lii started bending agian.
She went back to trying to breathe fire agian, and only got as far as blowing a small jet. The young girl sighed, but kept trying.

"Sure, Xiggy." said Mahzu, coating his sword with ice. The effect that it caused wasn't much different than what his sword normally looked like. Taking up a fighting stance, Mahzu held his sword in both hands and waited.

"Alright, then! Let's go! Just... Don't call me Xiggy." He quickly swung his sword over his head, and tried faking out Mahzu, by suddenly switching to an uppercut.

Mahzu brought his sword up, to block. Sadly, that was a feint, and he instead was hit in his upper arm.switching to one-handed, he swiped sideways, but stopped at the last moment and struck at Xigbar's shin.

Xigbar was hit in the shin, and it actually tripped him. On the way down, Xigbar swung his leg at Mahzu's. Hopefully, Xigbar could buy himself some time to get back up.

Mahzu had been watching Xigbar, and lifted his leg up. Sadly, he lost his balance and, after swinging his arms around for a second, toppled onto his side. As he fell, Mahzu flung out his left arm in a punch.
