The Bank

It's probably the largest building in the strip-mall-sized commercial center of the Safari Zone. That's still not saying much, though; it's only a few square feet and staffed by a grand total of one person. Still, it does its job, which is to keep track of all of the tills and savings accounts of all the members who have ever signed up at the Safari Zone. The trustworthy girl behind the counter takes up deposits from area owners and take out withdrawals from area visitors and area soon-to-owners, not to mention those from the trading area.

Off to one side, between the bank of PCs and the potted narrow-leaved palm lily, there's a haphazardly-pinned list of rules and notices regarding the bank - originally typed and printed, a few have undergone revision by means of what appears to be a purple crayon (with later additions in -- is that red nail polish):

• Accounts will be opened with $45. Opening an area costs $30.

• Members who run their own area or shops are fully responsible for withdrawing money from their customers' accounts and depositing it into their own.
• That means if you buy something from somebody's shop or participate in an area, you don't have to do anything. The owner will see to it that the transaction is made.
• Allowance will be given out every Friday.
• Allowance varies depending on how much money you have. If you have $4 or below then you gain enough money to bring you up to $5. If you have between $5 and $100 you gain $5. Between $101 and $200 you gain $4. Above $200 you gain $3.
• When withdrawing/depositing, link to the individual post in which the transaction was made as proof.
• If you have an account here and then get a name change, please mention it here for clarity.
• Accounts will not be noted to be approved, but feel free to begin posting and being active once you have requested one. Indeed, I will likely only post here to point out problems.
• Please don't edit your posts here unless I haven't been online since you last posted, double post instead. Otherwise it will go overlooked.
• Please do not post in the Bank to complain about a lack of people visiting your area, or to ask people to visit your area, or anything similar. Anyone who does so will recieve a monetary penalty, at my discretion.

Important note to all SZ participants: please, before adding a new transaction onto an existing post, check the last-edited date on the first post. If it is after your previous post, please create a new post as opposed to editing your old one. Otherwise, your transaction may go unnoticed. Double-posts in this situation will not be reason for an infraction.

Also, Mendatt and ShadowtheHoundoom both have less than $0, and I would ask that they hold off spending money until I next give out allowance. At least one user has below $10, as well, and I would recommend that any users in this situation be wary about their spending for a while.
