Status Report:
Managed to come full circle and beat Surge with a 10-level advantage, then went down Routes 12 and 13 to take on Koga. Had to fight him three times because of Muk, Minimize, and stupid Hyper Potions. Oh well, all's well that ends well, no? Now, it's time to train Poliwhirl and the newly-caught Horsea and then take on the Silph Company. Maybe I'll break out the Slowpoke I got in the Safari Zone as well.

Status Report:
Not much in-game progress (been visiting a friend for a few days), but Lapras and Seadra leveled up like they were being paid for it in Silph and the Saffron gym. I guess it's time for some miscellaneous training, and maybe I'll catch a Seel and a Staryu to replace members of the team. Seadra's great and all, but until I get the National Dex and a Dragon Scale, all it's doing is leveling up.
 
I wanna try a monotype I have Gold , FRLG,R/S/E,Diamond and Pearl so I want a challenge.

I don't really have a planned team. I'm just going to catch them as I go. XP

It's certainly a challenge so far! I'm actually stuck on that one rival battle after you get out of Jubilife. Levelling up now. I feel like I'm going to end up relying a whole lot on over-levelling, at least until I can get my Pokemon to levels where they actually learn good attacks. :|

I haven't had much of a chance to train, because most of the way up to Bill's house was spent leveling up Kobra, who i had just caught at the end of my playing last night. Took me a while to level him up to 18 from 8, but it's turning out to be worth it. I'm probably going to replace Sting(someday to be Melissa) with a Gastly, because I really see little need for a bug type on my team, and I've never actually trained a Gastly before except to evolve it. I see this challenge as a good opportunity to actually USE both a Gastly and a Tentacool. :sagenod:
