The idea of reborns, humans reincarnated as newborn Pokemon (while retaining their memories), was created by srgeman, from fanfiction.net, in an attempt to create an original story with an overused Pokemon, Eevee. This attempt turned out to be a great success, getting over 4000 reviews, the most reviews a Pokemon story had ever gotten at that time, the story being 'A Little Night Music', but was deleted due to multiple offenses. It was soon reuploaded with all violating content removed. I highly suggest you read it.

This reborn idea of his inspired me to do this roleplay. Some ideas, such as the concept of death visions and 'Not Pokemon' were originally in A Little Night Music. If you need any verification on what these are, Google srgeman and start reading the story.

So there. You can't say I stole any ideas, because I stated that it inspired me to do this.

Story

You, are a reborn. One of a few people that were gifted with the chance to have a second life, after dying as a human.

The only thing is... You shall be reborn as a Pokemon.

As you start a journey with your new trainer, you shall encounter many new Pokemon and humans added to your group- some crazy, some sane, some wise... But mostly crazy.

You may or may not be enjoying your new life up to this point. But that's irrelevant... Because soon enough, the deities get mixed in with your new life... More powerful than Arceus himself...

And then each and every one of you are getting hunted down by an assassin who has unknown motives... Who will apparently kill anyone else who stands in their way.

But...

It's a good life.

Rules

• No Godmodding (Powerplaying, etc.) Weathermodding, Railroading, or anything similar. Leave that to me, unless you specifically get permission.

• Your character cannot be reborn as a Legendary. Your character must also be reborn as a first stage Pokemon. They're hatching from eggs.

• No controlling plot-important NPCs.

• Proper grammar, please. I'm dick and tired of chatspeak, so whoever does it, knock it the hell off before you join this roleplay.

• Mary-Sues / Gary Stus = No. If your character resembles one, I stab you (This only counts towards the trainers, you're reborn character is automatically not a Mary Sue / Gary Stu for getting killed or killing themselves, and I don't give a damn what you do with the pure Pokemon).

• Max of three characters. This means you can have at least one of each class. If you show exceptional Roleplaying skill, I might consider giving you an extra character slot.

•After the roleplay starts, forms for reborns will be denied, leaving you with only the Trainer or Pokemon class.

• This roleplay is rated PG, blood and death are almost imminent. You are allowed to use as many curses as you want, but don't go all out (eg. I don't want to see a wall of curses unless you have a good reason and your character is an extreme pessimist)

• Finally, Just follow any other rules that would normally come into play, for our sake, okay?

Name: Colette Sidonie Alvarez

Gender: In past life was a female, reincarnated as a male, still refers to themselves as female
Age: 20
Reborn as: Sawk
Personality: Colette/Gaston is very whiny, usually complaining about the situation she is in or such. She is very child-like, however, and enjoys being friendly and carefree.

Bio: Born to Jules and Adele Lerner, Colette was raised as an only child and lived a fabulous and privileged life with her high-class parents in Accumula Town, Unova. Her father was the famous town pianist, and taught Cole how to play at a young age. When Colette attended school, she was known for excelling in mathematics and dictation. She went on to become a writer while she was in college.

Colette had just met Joseph Alvarez when she was eighteen, at a party that he parents held. Joseph's father was one of the head executives of the company that dealt out Potions and such to PokeMarts, and was also very weathy. Mr. and Mrs. Lerner jumped at the chance to introduce their daughter to him, and the two hit it off right away. About three months after first meeting each other, a marriage was hastily planned.

Colette soon became pregnant, and was happy as could be. She and Joseph had planned out everything: the color of the nursery, who would be the nanny, everything. When a baby boy was born, they named him Loewe. Everything seemed to be going wonderfully for the family, until Joseph started to snap under pressure. He started becoming violent, taking it out on Colette and Loewe. Colette started to wonder why she had never seen this side of Joseph before, this horrible person. He even went as far as to smack Colette upside the head when she said something that he deemed, 'stupid and ignorant'. One night, Colette couldn't take it anymore. She packed up her bags and started towards the door, Loewe in her arms. Joseph suddenly appeared from the shadows, and threw her to the ground, accusing her of not appreciated all he did for their family. The last thing Colette heard was her baby boy crying as she was choked to death.

Colette woke up. She woke up in a strange place. In a forest. Or was it a cave? She didn't even know. All she knew was that Loewe wasn't there. When she stood up, she found herself in the body of a Pokemon. a Pokemon that she had seen often, ones that sometimes acted as butlers, as most humanoid Pokemon do. She was a Sawk. And Sawks were male. But that wasn't the problem now. She wanted to find Loewe. She needed her baby. It was then, in her confusion, she met a Luxray. At first it wanted to battle, though it started to ease up towards her. Colette, embarrassed to tell her story to the Luxray, just said she was lost, and didn't know where to go. The Luxray took her in, and became her friend.

Other: HEAVILY based off of Colette, a French novelist from the 1890's.

Species: Absol
Personality: Zero is extremely prideful and arrogant, and unwilling to do much for anyone without gaining something for herself. However, since she is a disaster pokemon, it is in her nature to appear when a disaster is about to strike, not that she'll do much about it though, since she dislikes humans intensely.
Bio: Zero had a fairly average early life, and then, as is normal for a lot of Absol, headed off on her own, living in a desolate mountain range. There, Zero lived peacefully and undisturbed, until a human town began to grow at te bottom of her mountain range, mining the mountains, disturbing the wild pokemon, capturing them, and generally making a nuisance of themselves. One night, she had a vision of a massive landslide happening, crushing the human's town. She travelled to the humans, attempting to warn them, but they were simple folk, frightened by her appearence, and, helped by their leader, chased her from their town, and set their own pokemon on her, and, although she got away, she lost an eye in the process.
Other: Whilst I'd prefer her to be a wild pokemon, If it doesn't fit this RP, it doesn't matter, and I'm not really too sure about the whole visions thing, since Absol apparently sense disasters with their horn, I wasn't really sure how to express that.

If you want me to make a reborn character in addition to a pure pokemon, just give me a bell.

Reborn as: Lampent Lampent

Personality: She usually doesnt do much, she always meditates, inside her own wold, as a pokemon and a human. She meditates for 23 hours a day, 1 hour for eatting. Since she meditates, she is mentally older.

Bio: One day, her mother wanted her to stop meditating, but Kris wouldnt listen. Her mother wanted her to go outside for once. She pushed Kris to the mini van for a ride across her hometown. Kris meditated in the car, not looking at the gorgeous scenery.

Her mother decided to stop at a nearby Burger King, to get some food inside, with the car doors unlocked. Suddenly, a stranger came to the car Kris was in. The man had a gun, and he demanded to get some money. Since Kris was meditating, she couldnt hear the man. The man was tired of waiting, and shot Kris in the head. It seemed as if Kris didnt even notice....

Kris awoke on a patch of grass. She looked at herself. She looked...like a lamp on fire...She realized....she was a Pokemon...did she die and become a Pokemon? She didnt even realize it....

We need some trainers. Three of them. Any others after that should be 'sidekicks' that join one of the other trainers.

Obviously, three main trainers aren't enough for all the reborns and Pokemon. Reborns and Pokemon will also be dealed to the 'sidekicks', which may or may not participate in a gym.

Some Pokemon will have to be encountered eventually in the story, fit this in.

Finally, to get this to work, you will need to cooperate, and find out who you would want to be your 'sidekick', and your Pokemon.

I can be of no assistance in this, as I will be leaving tomorrow for an eight day vacation.

Personality: Rosario was very shy, she kept to herself. She was always the last to be picked, mainly because she hide. She was very sensative about her feelings and cried a lot. But at night she completely changed, becoming a different person, an alter ego. She was very seductive and like to fool young teens to there upset. She never killed but would put them in strange situations when they awoke from sleep. The suffers from multi personality disorder, also known as Dissociative identity disorder
Bio: She lived a normal teen life at day, but was always picked on because of her belief in vampires. She loved mythical creatures and always studied vampires. At night though she became a different person, Rouge, as the town called her. She suffered from a rare disorder so many people didnt believe her. One day a gang set up a trap for her and her alter ego fell for it. The gang caught her and beat her to death. Then the next thing she knew she woke up, all was normal except she was in a pokemon body. It was strange, she didn't remember what happened last night until a voice came in her head. It was sweet and told her of her alter ego and explained everything. She lived in the lab for 3 years and then, being a level 5 by then, she was set free. She has lived alone from then on, moving from place to place. Her telapathacy helps her 'talk' with nice humans who will give her food. The telapathecymalso makes her have both egos at the same time, so she may argue with herself. Sometimes both sides may disagree, but they have worked it out better now.

Name: Inez
Gender: Female
Age: 30
Species: Luxray

Personality: Inez is very snobbish, though has an open mind and heart to Colette simply because she has taken her in. She can be very rude, often calling others stupid or ignorant, and can be very sarcastic.

Bio: Inez had a simple life. Raised in a clan of Shinxes and such, she lived happily. Until she evolved into a Luxio. She evolved at a very early age, only around level nine or so. Instead of being showered with praise because of her maturity, Inez was made fun of by her littermates and looked down upon. The only one who understood her was her sister, Lachaille. Even her parents had started to deny her the affection that she craved, partially because they thought she was grown up enough already.

Inez left the clan and Lachaille to pursue her own life, and maybe start up a clan of her own. Along the way, she met a male Combusken, named Alvar. When they first met, it was a battle. Alvar had jumped at her while she was feeding on some berries, and the two started going at it. After Inez had yelled at him for a while, the Combusken had calmed down and she forced him to apologize. Alvar had never apologized to someone before, or take orders from a female. He was impressed with Inez, and talked her into letting him travel with her, as he had startd off by himself to start a whole new life.

After a while, Inez and Alvar became mates. They only succeeded in having two eggs, from which sprung two little female Shinxes, named Alicia and Andree. They watched their daughters grow up, and lived a happy life together, until Alvar was caught by a trainer. Inez had to admit, she did feel sad when he left. If was after their daughters had left them themselves, and now Inez was all alone. But she figured she could move on, start another life, have another mate, have more hatchlings. She might as well contribute to society.

That was when she met Colette. A young male Sawk had wandered up to her, and said he was lost. He was also insisting that 'he' was a 'she'. Normally Inez would have ignored Colette, and walked off herself. A Sawk wasn't even in her egg group! But she figured she might as well help the poor soul. She herself had been young and wanted a partner. That's why she had had Alvar. Even if she couldn't lay this Sawk's eggs, she might as well help him - er, her - and so she took Colette in.

Other: I love basing characters off of characters in books :D

Name: Lirris

Species: Scrafty
Personality: Stubborn and proud. Lirris has problems with trainers who are incapable of properly harnessing his moves, and will refuse to act if he deems them too inexperienced to have him as one of their party members.
Bio: Lirris was born in the wild, and was raised by his mother, while he never knew his father. After a couple of years his mother revealed that his father had been a roaming Dragonite, and the two had fallen in love, but the Dragonite had departed not long before Lirris had been hatched, feeling he could never truly stay put.

Lirris was eventually caught as a Scraggy, and his trainer tried his best to try to get Lirris to work with him, but Lirris found it frustrating that the trainer seemed to ignore his full potential, and rarely used Lirris to begin with. Eventually Lirris was released due to his unco-operative behaviour. After the following years he would go through similar though different experiences with several trainers.

Lirris has soon found himself wandering across the (fill in the region of the RP) region, encountering trainers and proceeding to prove them incapable of catching him, let alone battling him.
Other:
- Lirris' father was a Dragonite, thus Lirris has Fire Punch and Dragon Dance in his movesewt.
-I play by the four-moves a pokemon rule (it's a personal thing, it keeps character's balanced). Thus Lirris knows the following:
--Brick Break, Crunch, Fire Punch, and Dragon Dance
-Lirris is a chronic smoker, and for some reason will always be able to obtain them. This habit is countered by a special blend of berries that make a beverage that prevent him from suffering the ill-effects of his habit.
-Lirris also wears blackglasses, an item that his last trainer foolishly left him equipped with.
