Dr. Lehrer heard something in his head. Espeon, espi, espion! "What is that, you insolent peon?" Dr. Lehrer said. "You think I'm being an ass? Just remember, I am in charge of who lives and who dies, and my Espeon is right outside this room, telling me what you are thinking. So watch it."
 
"Are you talking to me, sir? If you really want to know, those comments were directed at Lucas..."
 
"Why thank you, I can mirror those thoughts and say that just because you're a peon doesn't mean you have to be so stupid" Lucas said to Dimitrius, and took a deep breath, he just had a feeling something would go wrong, but he felt that about practically anything. "Don't you think someone will try to stop us? That happens all the time, for anyone, in any case" He went up, and opened a window, as his Honchkrow flew into the building. "Vito here is a perfect case, he led a big flock of Murkrows when he still was one, and stole anything shining they saw, but I ended up catching him, due requests of the townspeople" He scratched his head, "Back then when I wasn't part of Team Magma, just before, actually"
 
"You are comparing my intelligence to that of your stupid bird? How dare you! We are much smarter than them, and we were foiled that one time because of that stupid child, and Maxie was weaker than I am now. Nobody will be able to stop us."
 
"It doesn't matter about what ANY of you think! I am the Head of this organization, and what I say goes, no matter what!"
 
"Yes, sir!" Amanda replied, nodding quickly. "In order to get them to obey, we could probably fake rescuing these Pokemon... would that work, by any chance?"
 
"We don't need them to obey, we just need to get one of the peons to go in and hook up an IV, and then turn on the machine."
 
"I compared the situation itself, not you and this smalltime-crimelord over here" Lucas said, patting Vito's head, "Think of it, I had a Ralts, one single Pokémon against over a hundred of then, and yet the Ralts won" He walked back to the chair, with Vito following him. "Unthinkable, isn't it? but that is what happened" He stared at Ruby, without a slight look of need to sleep, "Nothing is impossible, but everything is more or less possible, what would happen if the elite four was put against us? Their Pokémon might not necessary be stronger then ours, but they have something we can't match, no matter what we do"
 
"Well, I guess I'll do it. I seem to be the only peon who's speaking up, so..."
 
"Your Ralts won because he was tamed by a trainer, just like M.A.G.M.A. was created by a human, so it is more powerful than any stupid pokemon."
 
"To begin with, it's a female, and that didn't matter, there was a hundred DARK-types against a single PSYCHIC-type" Lucas answered, he tried to make Ruby understand what the situation was like, and what would happen, "No one else then Arceus himself will rule the world, and I hope you will realize it. Greed will never lead to anything good, there has to be a better way, and I bet I could think of something, just give me time to"
 
Sam knew better than to speak up, without something substantive to say. Even after missing the first few minutes, he concluded that Ruby was planning to catch something... something powerful. Groudon? No, something more compassionate and friendly... Maybe... the Lati twins...
