Open The Much Talked-about Zelda RPG

(The Civil War: I'm not sure it even qualifies as a Civil War if, you know, they're being forced to fight for the other side. Not sure, but....
The Linkless Age: I like the general message it conveys, but it just...doesn't sound quite right.
Both Ganon's Reign and Return of Vaati sound generic.)

"We're making great time, Sticky! Why, at this rate, we can probably be there by sunset tomorrow! Without all those soldiers, this is so much eas-" Starr was cut off as two shadowed figures came into view. "Rats. Help me find some quick cover, Sticky - a tree, a bush, even one single leaf -" Starr was cut off again when a cloud covering the moon passed by and they were revealed to be a Zora and a Sheikah. "Oh. Hmm. Well, we don't see many Zora that dare come up on land nowadays. That's odd. The fact that a Sheikah's here, though, roaming about, probably means that it's Death Mountain that's getting attacked, if anywhere. Oh well. Not our problem. Let's go." Starr attempted to direct Sticky north, where Lake Hylia was, but Sticky started bobbling towards the shore. "Er...Sticky, Lake Hylia's not that way...We don't need to have anything to do with those two, and our short time window without any of the soldiers around is shortening as we speak..." Sticky, of course, jiggled on. Starr sighed and laid down facefirst in the blue goop, quietly loathing the world around him.

"No intention to harm?" Raisu asked, glancing around before talking her hand off of her sword. She hadn't caught Ina tripping at first, but had seen some of it out of the corner of her eye and snickered. She continued forward until she reached the girl.

"I certainly hope you are unarmed. What brings you here?" Raisu asked, though a bit distractedly. For out of the corner of her eye she had spotted something else: A blue Chu-Chu coming toward them.

Talon continued going through the forest untill he came to a large open field: Hyrule Field. "Whoa, I guess this is the center of Hyrule! It looks so much bigger here than it does on the mountain." He stayed near the edge of the field and walked along it, staying near the woods so that he would be ready to hide if someone saw him. After almost an hour, the woods started disappearing, and soon he was just in the field, although he continued walking. He was getting tired, and eventually, he collapsed. However, he immediately got back up after he realized that he hadn't fallen on dirt or grass: it was sand. He looked forward and saw that he was standing on a beach, and when he looked back, he saw he had been walking on it for longer than he thought. He decided to continue walking, and he soon saw something near the ocean: two people. He got closer and saw that there was also a small blob near them, and when he was even closer, he saw it was a Blue Chu-Chu. "Uh-oh, a Chu-Chu! And it's heading towards those people! Look out!!!" he shouted at them as he drew his crossbow. He loaded it and started running towards them, aiming at the gooey monster, but right as he was about to fire, he tripped in the sand, falling flat on his face and landing the arrow about three feet to the right of it's target.

"Eek! See the trouble you get us into, Sticky? I told you these people were no good, but did you listen? No. I really don't want my life to end impaled on an arrow with some blue goo, you know? Now let's get going to Lake Hyl - wait, what?" The Chu-chu had started sinking into the ground, leaving Starr sitting on the grass. "Aw, c'mon, this isn't very funny, Sticky. You can't just leave me out here in the middle of this huge field! There's no way I can get to Lake Hylia or back to Minish Woods before the soldiers come back without your help..." There was no reply. "Drat."

Talon got back up and saw that the Chu-Chu was melting. "Oh, no you don't!" The ignorant Rito boy put away his crossbow, drew his short-sword, and ran towards the puddle. When he got there, he looked down at it and saw a small mouse-like creature whom he remembered from stories his mother had told him. "Oh my gosh! Are you a... a... Picori?"

Peeved Minish

Starr shouted up as loudly as he could to the massive Rito in front of him, "Minish, Minish, Minish! We're called Minish! I hope you're happy! You just made the only chance I had of rescuing my sister - or surviving at all, for that matter! - vanish into the ground! I'd turn you into a frog right now if I could remember that spell!"

The Rito squatted down and talked to the Minish. "Pic... I mean, Minish, I don't know what you're talking about, but I'm sorry about whatever I did. My name's Talon, and I thought I just saved you from that Chu-chu. These blue ones are especially dangerous cause they can electrify they're prey. And by the way, what are you doing out here, anyway? Shouldn't you be in the forest or towns or mountains?" Though Talon was trying to be helpful, he really sounded rather foolish. Anyone who had studied the Minish would know that they're well-learned of most magic, and since Chu-Chu Jelly is a prime ingredient in most potions, the Minish probably knew more about Chu-Chus than Talon ever would. And, in addition to that, Talon had no idea that Minish often rode monsters. All he knew about them was what his mother had told him in bed-time stories when he was younger.

(I thought that the yellow ones were electrical...or do the blue ones do that, too? I can't remember.)

"Grr! You're infuriating! That Chu-chu was my friend, it was helping me to get to Lake Hylia since I can't walk as fast as you big people, where my sister is likely being held prisoner! It decided to come over to you, and we both nearly got impaled on an arrow. I blamed it because it was the one that came over here in the first place, and it's left me stranded here, way too far from safety to be able to avoid the soldiers once they come back from invading Death Mountain, trying to think of something horrible I can do to you other than turning you into a frog! Understand now?!"

((Both the Blue and Yellow are electric))

Talon was surprised that he had caused so much trouble, or at least, added on to the trouble. "Well, is there anything I can do to help? What's your name?"

Fletch stretched and sighed. He had spent a long day watching the town. Now it was time for him to go do his own thing. Standing up and brushing his pants off, Fletch jumped down from the rooftop and went back to the graveyard.

He didn't see the gravekeeper around. 'Must be sleeping,' he thought to himself. The youth went right to the back of the area and grabbed the wooden bars blocking off the entrance to the Shadow Temple. The door to the temple itself was closed, but the area with all the torches was still open, and so Fletch usually slept in there. It offered protection from the elements and wild animals, which was all he could really ask for. A few of his things were scattered about and a few targets were attached to torches and places on the wall. Those were what Fletch had come for. Taking out his bow, he notched one of the arrows he used for practice on it and began to shoot.

"Grr! I don't need your help! All I want to do at the moment is think of a way to make you suffer! And...hrm...how did I make that potion again? Something to do with a mixture of water from a Great Fairy's Fountain and a mushroom from the Kokiri Forest - rare now that the Kokiri Forest doesn't exist anymore, but I think I've got some...yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how I'm supposed to make a "see thing from a long distance" potion...yep. I'll force you to watch Ganon invade your home and kill your people! It's perfect!" He then began fiddling around in his robe.

Completely oblivious to the argument raging nearby, a young Minish scampered across the ground, jumping over twigs and leaves, chasing after a large - or at least, large to him - creature that appeared to be made of wood. "Wait, Xylo, wait!" the Minish shouted after the Deku, "I fell off!"

The Deku stopped suddenly and turned around, spotting the tiny Minish running after him. Looking apologetic, Xylo let Miamik climb back onto his leafy head. "Sorry about that," came a slow, deep voice, "You're so small I can never tell if you're on or off!"

"I know," replied Miamik in a disgruntled voice. "Now let's get going."

"Where to?"

"I don't know. But today might be our lucky one."

The Deku lumbered off along the forest path, with Miamik clinging tight onto the stalks of his leaves. After a few minutes walking, Miamik thought he heard shouting nearby.

"Go over there, Xylo," Miamik said sharply. The Deku obeyed and walked in that direction, coming shortly to the place the argument was taking place.

There was another, older Minish shouting at a Rito. Apparently the Rito had done something to greatly offend the Minish. Miamik, eyes wide and face bright, jumped down from Xylo and ran over to the other Minish.

"Are you... are you really... I mean, you look like.... YOU'RE A MINISH!" he shouted with glee, collapsing at the ground in front of Starr.

(OOC: Cinderpelt, if you want you can use the name for a fan fic I gave up on, Legend of Zelda: Twin Shadows. It had a slightly similar plot acutally, Ganon and Vaati conquer Hyrule but in my fan fic, the heroes were trying to get help from the Minish homeworld.)
Vendetta and Monster walked throught the forest, keeping an eye out for danger.
"Today Monster, we leave the woods for ever. I'm never hiding again."

A shaft of moonlight illuminated the two beings, and as it turned out, they were-

Hmm.. that one's obviously a Zora, and the other... interesting. A Zora and a Sheikah. Wonder what's going to come out of that.

Just then, more movement caught Spiriah's eye. A blue Chu-Chu was coming toward the beach. From his viewpoint, it looked like something else was on the Chu-Chu, but he had no intention of finding out what it was.... yet.

Things got more interesting as a Rito arrived and began to have an argument with that something on the Chu-Chu. No doubt it was a Picori that was riding the blue jelly-like creature.

Let's see if I can throw my own lot in here, he thought, while activating his power of corrosion, he caused one of the rocks on the beach to slowly be corroded into sand.

It might be nothing, thought Spiriah, But most beings would be a little freaked out when a rock randomly is corroded away before their eyes

Lynniria was running, just for the sake of running and feeling free, a chance she didn't get often. Probably because the strangers she was living with didn't trust her. Then again, she barely knew their names, much less anything about them. The brown color in her hair was fading, she noticed. She'd have to dye it again in the morning. With little more than a subtle smile after those thoughts, she threw caution to the wind. She let the hood of her cloak fall and her now not-very-dark brown hair streamed out behind her. Her cloak billowed out. She neared the sea. Disregarding everyone else, she gleefully splashed into it, her bare feet wallowing in how good it felt to be free of shoes.

"Oh great, another one of you guys!" Talon said as another Minish ran up toward them with a Deku Sprout. "Look, it was an accident, don't call up an army or anything! I'll find your Chu-chu, wherever he went, but right now I'm still trying to figure out what's going on here. What were you talking about when you said you'd make me watch my people die, Chu-Minish? And Deku Sprout and Deku-Minish, what do you want? And... why did that rock just disappear?!" Talon said as he saw a nearby rock sublimate instantly. "WHAT THE HECK'S GOING ON?!?!"

Spiriah grinned as he saw the Rito go into a panic after he corroded the rock. Just for fun, Spiriah fired a low-powered flame burst at the sand near the Rito, and watched as the sand turned to glass, then he subsequently used his powers of corrosion to corrode away the glass.

I hope they catch on sooner or later, he thought, even as he turned invisible, Maybe the Sheikah or the Zora will figure it out. Or one of those Picori.

As an explosion of fire appeared at Talon's feet, he started to panic even more. "Look, I said I'd help you out! Stop using your magic, Minish! Aren't you supposed to help people?! Hey you over there, could you come help me out?!" The last sentence was directed towards the two people closer to the ocean, whom Talon now recognized as a Shiekah and a Zora, and he ran over toward them.

Oh, now he's accusing the Picori of my work, Spiriah thought, How... interesting. Still, he seems one that looks the easiest to toy with. So...

Spiriah activated his powers of flame once more to surround the Rito with a ring of flame, which instantly fused with the sand to form more glass. The Poe then corroded part of the glass away, then formed another ring of flame on the glass.
