Things that make no sence in Pokemon

Why did this have to start off of my post about pokemon being a cartoon? T_T

I don't think it makes sense that pikachu can KO an electric pokemon with thunderbolt.
 
I'm pretty sure Pokemon DOES have an anime. That Pokemon adventure special? Or something like that?
What never made sense to me is how Brock's eyes are always closed. Honestly, you can't live with your eyes squinting or closed or whatever they are without hurting yourself. And if he's squinting, how is he falling for all those beautiful women?

What? The specials are on the same level as the alledged "anime"
Just because it's a special doesn't make it an anime....
 
If you check out Serebii.net, I'm pretty sure they have news about he manga.
I actually meant manga in my last post. ^^'
 
I don't get how Ash has never gotten a girlfriend... or even flirted with a girl!

Also in the games; I'd hate to have a house that anyone can just walk into whenever they want... And some houses don't even have doors! And in most houses there's only ONE ROOM! Where's the loo? Where's your mums bedroom? It makes no sense.
 
Why do they have cars when they have Psychic-types and/or the ability to change matter into light/data? Three different ways of near-instant transportation right there and they ignore it.
 
Good point. They have cars, yet they walk around to different towns. Why donesn't Ash just grab a taxi ride to travel around?

Also, umm, we all know that it's a show, that's the point of this thread. XD
 
Can't we just stuff the entire anime into the "doesn't make sense" bin?
That's the conclusion I came to.

Way too many of the things in Pokemon come to the "it's a cartoon, why else not?" conclusion.
 
When you think about it, it's hard to find something that actually makes sense in Pokemon that isn't obvious. The games are more realistic in my opinion than the anime.

you guys arguing about animes are dumb asses because you should be talking about how kind people like team rocket got sucked into evil (by team rocket i mean jessie and james (maybe meowth))
