Open (What is our destiny?) The Exiled [Updated plot, so new thread]

On that fateful day, Kali was stationed at the time at the border of Ground territory, near the Water territory and near Diamond cave, just beyond the great Cattail marsh. Gazing into the distance, she thought she saw several figures approaching the cave.

"Now what would they be up to?" she wondered. "And who are they?" Kali leapt up into the air and began to fly toward the cave.

(I'll give the fight a little more time before I arrive :sunglasses:)

Za looked helplessly between Ashi and the Sneasel, not knowing what to do. He thought about backing out, but he might just bump into something unacceptable. He decided to stay put and look small without doing much anything.

Moonlight watched as a Sneasel and Zangoose were fighting. Violent group. Wonder if they'll help me find Sunspot... or will they try to eat me?

Stormfeather watched in amusement as the Zangoose leapt for the Sneasel.. she'd leave them, then. Never really like Sneasels or Ice types anyways. She settled down to watch how it would turn out.

Mark quickly glared at the attacking Zangoose, and, standing on his back paws, leapt up on a rocky outcropping. Tensing up, he pushed off with his back legs and launched himself at the Zangoose's face, claws stretched as far out as possible.

Ashi shielded her face with her claws, but the Sneasel had managed to grasp her claw with his momentum. She attempted to get him off by trying to rake him with three purple claws, her eyes full of hunger.

Approaching the cave, Kali began to notice a few figures just outside. At first she was a little too far away to make out what they were doing, but as she got closer, she could see two of the Pokémon, a Sneasel and a Zangoose, were fighting each other, while several others seemed to be watching in amusement. The Flygon descended toward the Pokémon, landing about 5 meters from the battle.

"Well now, what's going on here? Some sort of convention? Or a tournament?" She snickered, slowly walking toward the other Pokémon.

Mark detatched himself from the Zangoose and scampered quickly into the cave. Cowardice didn't count when your life was at stake. He probably had the advantage in the cave, being a Dark type and all.

Scampering quietly behind that large feathered Salamence he had seen before, Mark crouched behind a rock, ears aquiver.

"Don't be snooty, or I'll eat you too," Ashi hissed, flashing her bloodstained claws. She then dashed into the cave, in pursuit of the Sneasel.

But at the end, she stopped in her tracks. There was a beautiful glow all over the walls that illuminated the whole round end of the cave. Her eyes were wide with awe, and she suddenly forgot all her hunger. Slumping down on her belly, she gazed at the silver light being given by the full moon.

Za watched the two bickering Pokémon flee farther into the cave, and he silently followed them with only a quiet buzz to tell himself that he existed. And then a white glow was awash in the cave, filling it with light. He shielded his eyes with a single arm as he looked at the ceiling.

Bright.

Mark was still listening for the Zangoose when the rock he was hiding behind lit up, glowing and sparkling. The light from the rock glinted off of his large eyes.

Wow, this is pretty awesome...

Moonlight darted out of the way as the Sneasel dashed in the cave. Well, that confirms my suspicions that they'll eat me if I ask for help...

Lucio, who had run into the cave before, trying to find a way around it, now found himself sitting on the ground in awe, staring at the light around him. He didn't say anything, nor could he think of anything to say. He simply sat and looked.

((Yeah, I don't know))

Kali chuckled at the Zangoose's remark, muttering softly to herself. "Her? Eat me? Not likely... she's what, half my size? Maybe I'll eat her sometime instead... but first things first." She watched most of the remaining Pokemon retreat into the cave after seeing her, her presence proving to be a distraction long enough for the Zangoose's real target, a Sneasel, to try to escape and hide inside. There was at least one more though still outside, another dragon roughly her same size, and Kali began to approach her. "Hello," Kali spoke to the oddly-winged Salamence. She hadn't seen a Salamence before, and didn't realize they normally had red, scaly wings, so she didn't know there was anything different about her. "Perhaps you can explain what's going on here. I seem to have, ahem, frightened off the little ones..." She grinned.

"Uh." This Flygon had a strong scent of the Ground clan, but if she was here then she must be an exile... Maybe she was newly exiled? "We're all here because we have something in common, and.. well, can't go back to our clans." If the Flygon was an exile, she'd get the hint, hopefully. Or she just gave away their location to a clan Pokemon.

Kyo noticed a Riolu sitting in front of the cave, clearly fascinated by something.

What's got him so preoccupied? she wondered, stepping out from her hiding place to look.

The bright interior of the cave met her eyes, and suddenly that was all she could look at. She plopped down next to the Riolu.

What makes it glow like that? she thought.

"Oh... I see..." Kali stopped and thought for a moment. These seemed like perfectly good Pokemon. Sure, some of them may have appeared a little odd, but they showed they could still fight. She wondered why they were let go from their clans. She didn't see anyone she recognized from the Ground clan, so she didn't feel threatened at all by the Pokemon. Maybe she could get a little more information first. Kali sat down next to the Salamence, turning her head to look at her. "How did it feel to be just abandoned by the ones you trusted the most? And now what are you looking for? Revenge? Blood? Or just a new home?"

"Well.." Stormfeather thought a second. "I personally want to rip the Flying clan a few, but the majority of us may not want to, so." She charged up a Dragon Pulse and shot it into the ground, as if to punctuate her point. "We'll just see what Arceus wants for us."

"I see..." Kali grinned at the frustration in the odd Salamence's motion. It could be useful. "Well, you may very well get your chance. But first you'll need allies. Why don't we speak to the other Pokémon that came here... and see how they feel?" She stood back up and walked toward the cave. "I believe they all went in here."
