Ok, I'm too excited to wait till tonight when I've gotten the answer, so I'm making a post now. I've had a girlfriend before, but she was long distance. I asked her out over the phone. But she was it. This is the first time I'm going to be asking out a girl that actually goes to my school, lives in the same town, all that jazz. Which is completely new to me, and I'm ridiculously scared and excited at the same time.
I'm going to go through classes all day, blah boring blah, and then I'll stay afterschool like I do every Tuesday for Nerd Society. She also stays after for Nerd Society, of course. And when Nerd Society is over, I walk off the grounds of the High School, across the soccer field, over to the Primary School, and I ride with me little brother home on his bus. But often this girl walks across the soccer field with me, and while I go to the buses she goes her own way (walking home). And I figured on the soccer field is the perfect place to ask her, because we'll be alone.
I know not to get my hopes too high, because she could decline. And that's alright, I'm just really hopeful :P I have low self-esteem, so one part of me is saying she'll for sure say no, but it can't hurt to ask, and the other part of me says that based on how she acts, she probably does like me.
Now, it's weird, because she knows I like her, and we even sort of talked about it once, but she never said she didn't like me. And at the time she had a boyfriend, so...yeah. But the way she acts with me, sometimes I think it's definitely possible. And I make her so darn happy, I type her out these really long messages every once in a while telling her how amazing and beautiful she is, and it always makes her feel better about herself and makes her happy (which makes me happy), and I've done it for so long. I remember back when she still had a boyfriend, she even said she wishes her boyfriend had done that, etc.
Also the last school dance we had, I wasn't able to go to, but she thought I was, and apparently she dressed in some beautiful dress in my favorite color (green if you're curious), and someone said when they told her I wasn't coming, she sat down and cried (I felt so terrible, you can imagine). And she herself told me that she wouldn't have worn that dress if she "had known there was no one there to impress". So I'm just trying to say, I feel as if it's definitely possible she may like me.
Though of course I could be friendzoned :/ That's happened to me with pretty much...every girl, ever. We'll see. Anyway, I'll try to keep my head up if she rejects me :P I'll assume the worst, and if she says yes, it'll be just that much better.
Well I hope all of you have a great day, wish me luck!
