Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

"Meh... Darkness probably doesn't need him for anything." Zora mumbled, falling into the chair behind her, "I think she got everything covered with just those guys."
"Are you nervous?" Fairwind asked, as she was still just sitting there.
"A bit, mostly about how I'm gonna keep Cyndra away from the punch this time."

"Good." Raiquen muttered, leaning back in his chair, "And do you have to-"
"Yes she does I do not want to relive that end of discussion." Rhythm said quite quickly, restraining the urge to facepalm.
"What's this discussion about, now?" Raith asked, floating into a chair.

"Keeping Cyndra away from the punch tomorrow." Zora mumbled, "Won't be an easy task. Not with her cunning."
"Well I suppose I can help with that, since I don't have anything else to do." Fairwind offered.
"...Thanks."

Rhythm was about to give an immediate answer to Jax, but then he stopped after he had realized that he hadn't picked one yet.
"I, uh...I'll have to think on that one."
"Please don't pick me," Marshall moaned, "I'm not good at weddings."
"Well you shouldn't have said that because now I have an overwhelming urge to choose you."

"Take your time. You don't need to choose one right off. It can wait till later. But to answer Jax... Put quite simply, I don't think Darkness's plans involve a flower girl." Zora muttered, snickering slightly at Rhythm's sentiment toward Marshall, "I'm pretty sure she has different plans, which actually could work considering most traditional weddings in different cultures don't involve one. But that actually reminds me. I also need to pick a maid of honor. But I have one in mind already, so."
At that moment, Darkness stuck her head out of one of the rooms.
"We're almost done! I'll be with you in a minute!"

((Yes, I did actually google the weddings in different cultures thing. >>))

Marshall opened his mouth to speak but shut it as Rhythm glanced at him.
"Marshall, don't do anything stupid..." All of a sudden, Marshall cracked up laughing. Raith looked at Rhythm confusedly.
"It's a little inside joke between me, Marshall, and Falar. I'd really rather you not ask."

"I don't think I want to know." Zora muttered as she watched Darkness jog out toward them.
"Moving a bit fast there don't you think?"
"Not at all!" Darkness exclaimed, "I have to be moving this fast!"
"Well you could at least slow down for a minute so you can talk with us if you need to now, hm?"
"I suppose that's true..." and she fell into a chair.
"That's the idea. You'll overwork yourself. Now what do you need us for?"
"OK, first thing's first. Hera and Windfall are asking about a color scheme. Have one in mind?"

"I wouldn't mind purple. 'Tis pretty." Rhythm said, leaning back in his chair casually.
"It'll be interesting, to say the least." Marshall commented.
"Mm-hmm."

"Then it's purple and white, I suppose. But mostly purple." Zora sighed, smiling.
"Aaaalrighty then." Darkness muttered, writing something down on a piece of paper and handing it to Fairwind.
"Run this to your sister."
"You got it." Fairwind took the paper and ran toward the room they were in.
"Right then... Just thought I'd let you know that we're doing the fittings later while I'm thinking of that next question..." Darkness put her hand to her face in a thoughtful position, "Oh yeah. Do you want anyone specific invited? Spirit and Starlight need to know so they can start the seating arrangements."

"Anyone specific..." Rhythm muttered to himself. "Well, I can't think of specifics without leaving someone out. Just invite all you can remember, I guess."
"You have a lot of friends?" Raiquen asked.
"Yeah, quite a lot."

"I've got three in mind that would actually do anything short of killing to come." Zora mumbled, "Skye, Frost and Amethyst to be specific. But yes, just have them call whoever they can remember."
"You got it." Darkness muttered, as Fairwind came back out.
"Anything else?"
"Yeah." she tore another sheet of paper from her legal pad and handed it to her, "This goes to Spirit. The blond one, if you don't know already."
"Yup." as Fairwind ran off again, Darkness turned back to Zora and Rhythm.
"That's all for now. I'll be back out in an hour to grab Zora to get her sized and fitted for her dress, and I anticipate that you men will be doing the same with Rhythm." and she walked back toward the room she'd been in before.

"Um, thanks." Rhythm replied. It was a bit strange coming from Jax, but he accepted it as a compliment all the same.
"Might as well get fitting done." Aidan said, grabbing Rhythm.
"Oy, lay off the coat, I can walk perfectly fine."

Zora glared at Jax.
"Hands off. He's mine." she growled darkly, before sighing. That's when she saw Darkness stride out again.
"Ah, good, he's taking him for the fitting now."
"You're taking me now too aren't you."
"Cyndra wants to get the measurements done." she grabbed her by the wrist and began to drag Zora down the hall.
"I have legs you know..."

Meanwhile, Starlight pulled the clipboard away from Spirit.
"No no no. Why are you seating Aidan next to Marshall after that incident out there earlier?"
"Because."
At that moment, Fairwind peeked in.
"Note from Darkness. Here you go."
"Thanks." Starlight grabbed the note and read it.
"What's it say?" Spirit inquired.
"To invite everyone we can remember."
-----------------
"You saw the note. We have to plan this in purple." Windfall muttered as she looked over Hera's work.
"Well you're the gay one."
"That's racist."
"Racism doesn't have anything to do with orientation, idiot."
------------------
"I could've walked, you know."
Zora and Darkness had arrived in the room, and Cyndra already had her standing on a stool while she did all number of measurements and fabric pinning.
"Yeah I know. It's more fun this way." Darkness mumbled.
"How the hell is that more fun?"
"The expression on your face, for one."
