Closed X: The step into other worlds

Zora flinched when she felt arms wrap around her, but relaxed as she realized who it was.
"Oh... It's just you..." she sighed relievedly. She was still shivering from having been out there, at least without a proper pair of pants.
Darkness and Kirita both stared at Rhythm.
"Um... OK." Darkness muttered.
Kirita however, turned to the window and watched the snow fall.

"It isn't my fault. Blame Opal." Rhythm growled. His features changed with the reminiscence of a particularly bad memory, but changed back to normal instantly.
"But that isn't the point..."

Zora's face contorted into a snarl, and she growled from her throat without realizing it. At least until she saw Windfall staring at her.
"...Sorry, sorry..." she muttered, returning to normal. She then attempted to turn around while still in Rhythm's grip and hug him back in an attempt to maybe end the shivering, but soon just gave up and let it be.

Rhythm vainly used his wings in another attempt, but it didn't seem to help either of them much, so he just folded them in. He let go of Zora, walked into his room, and trailed out wrapped with a blanket.
"Aha-" Raith began.
"I'm not sick, just freezing. There's a difference." Rhythm said, cutting him off.

"Not a half bad idea..." Zora muttered, trotting into her own room and doing the same. She then sat down in a nearby chair and purred warmly.
"Much better."
"Hm..." Darkness muttered, as she turned to stare out the window.
"Why do you keep staring out there?"
"Because."

Rhythm sidled over to a corner and sat down, blanket still wrapped around him. For quite a while, he was silent and unmoving. Eventually, he started fidgeting with the blanket, then stopped and became unmoving again. Raith simply stared at him.

Zora and Darkness also stared blankly at him.
"Hm..." Darkness again turned back to the window.
"Not moving..." Zora muttered. It appeared that she was beginning to nod off a bit. Then Darkness perked up, and she looked up as well.
"What is it?"
"Thought I saw something..."

"It's tomorrow, you idiot..." Darkness growled.
"Darkness, don't get too mad... She obviously wasn't paying attention..." Windfall mumbled.
"Sorry..." Darkness turned back to the window and did a double-take as soon as she did.
"Must be seein' things..."

((rrr sorry internet problems))

"I'm fine." Darkness mumbled, "But I keep seeing things."
"Mmmm.... What kind of things...?" Windfall asked.
"In the sky. I keep seeing these three things flying in formation."
"Well... It could be Skye and her sisters... They said that they'd be coming later... Later might mean now..."
"Aye, true."

Rhythm straightened up a bit, and you could actually see the full extent of his head now. He took off the rest of the blanket, and felt his clothes. They had basically dried out now, and he was definitely not feeling as cold anymore. So he took the blanket back into his room, and came out stretching.
"Mmmph..." He moaned, falling into the chair next to Zora.

Zora, hearing something fall into the chair next to her, looked over and saw Rhythm.
"Mmm..." She mumbled, snuggling back into the blanket. You could still see her head, as she wasn't too far buried in it, but as it were she certainly looked comfortable.
Darkness jumped up at the sound of something hitting the chair, then breathed in relief as she saw who it was.

Rhythm glanced around, then sighed as he thought about something. Then, what seemed like as soon as he had sat down, he stood up.
"If any of you need me, I'll be in the room." He muttered, turning and walking down the hallway. As he kept the door open slightly, he collapsed onto his bed, sighing.

"Leave him be... Just leave him be..." Zora muttered sleepily, mostly to herself. She sighed, looked over at Darkness (who had turned back to the window), Windfall (who was staring at the ceiling) and finally Kirita (sleeping in her chair) and stood herself.
"I'm going to go get a little rest. You know the usual parameters for disturbance."
Darkness nodded as she looked over at her sister.
"I do."
"Good." With that, Zora staggered on into her room and lay down slowly.

Rhythm flipped over onto his back and stared at the ceiling, deep in thought. His senses told him to get out of the house through the window. Why, he didn't know. The urge was strong, but if there was something out there, what if it attacked and he couldn't return for tomorrow?
Although... He thought, It is still quite a large number of hours before midnight... Sitting up, he stared out the window, lost in thought until a flash of some sort of gold passed by his window. Rhythm stared for a minute longer, but nothing happened until he began to turn away. He saw it again out of the corner of his eye. Perplexed, Rhythm opened the window to see Adaye Fairbairn hanging onto the house by a misplaced wooden board.
"Adaye, you could have just used the front door..."
"But that wouldn't be nearly as much fun as this!" Adaye protested, swinging in through the window and nearly kicking Rhythm in the face.
"Aye...right..."

Zora lay sleepily in her bed, drifting in and out of consciousness. She felt in a state of inner peace. Almost calm. It was nice, to her.
But then she twitched.
"There is a disturbance in the Force..." she muttered, "Someone's here." she rolled out of bed, still wrapped in the blanket, opened the window and stuck her head out, spotting a familiar blond swinging into Rhythm's window when she did.
"Aha, I knew it! Good to see her again!"

Adaye stuck her head out the window at Zora's call, waving at her before pulling her head in.
"God, it's freezing out there." She moaned as Rhythm closed the window to stop the rain getting in.
"Yes it is now go shoo shoo." Rhythm said, ushering her out of the room and closing the door.
"Well, wasn't that nice." Adaye muttered, walking towards the main room.

Zora smiled and waved back, before trotting out into the hall to greet her properly. She however, DID groan when she saw Rhythm shut the door on her.
"If he wants to be alone he shouldn't be so rude about it..." she mumbled, before perking back up and following Adaye out.
"Hm...?" Darkness muttered, looking up from her trance-like fixation on the window. She blinked for a moment before realizing who it was.
"Well well. Look who we have here."
