Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

Zora wound up dragged down with her, but she payed no mind to it. Now, she had a decision to make. It was either her or Rai.
"Kill you... No, don't leave... Oh God..." she looked down at the ground. She had wanted to have both of them there tomorrow, especially Adaye since she didn't get to see her often at all. Now it almost seemed impossible, even though she knew there was a way.
"Adaye... I can fix this... I know I can... Just... We have to get you into my room somehow... I've been keeping the door locked, so he probably won't find you in there... I just need a chance to think..."

Sephii used her eyepiece for the very first time.

"Invisibility....X-ray vision....cool." she said, turning invisible.

She walked over to Kirita and gently pushed her. She let out a silent snicker.

"Please..." Adaye moaned, before silencing herself in order to give Zora her chance to think. She couldn't stray away from the thoughts of her brother, and was truly considering leaving right this moment. But she stayed. For Zora. It seemed like the right thing to do. Her hand drifted to her flail, but she dared not to pull it out.

Zora glanced once at Adaye (the poor dear, she thought to herself) before massaging her temples and going into moderately deep thought. She looked up at the nearby open window, then down at her again. An idea was already formulating, and she smirked a bit.
"Alright, first thing's first." she whispered, "This room's closed off from the rest, and the window's open. Which is why it's cold in this particular room. And the door's shut, so no one should notice because Acacia, who owns this house, put seals on the bottoms of the doors to keep draft out. It's also adjacent to my bedroom, which has the door shut and locked. So what we do is, we get you out through the window in here, then I'll go in my room, lock the door again and let you in the other window in there. You can hide in there until I get the rest of the plan finalized."

"Oh, thank you..." Adaye said, hugging Zora tightly before stumbling to her feet. She brushed her now-messy hair back vainly with her hand, then turned towards the window.

"You're welcome." Zora said pleasantly as she stood up, "Just come around to the window next to this and I'll let you in. Quickly now-wait a minute, I think I left my window open before it got so cold. So just climb in through there, quickly! I'll be around in a minute." she moved toward the door and turned around when she reached it to make sure Adaye got out OK.

Adaye began the climb out the window, and clumsily fell out onto the other side. Thinking nothing of it, she got up and went to the directed window and climbed in there. When she landed on not-so-soft ground, she grunted and got back up.

Alright, she's in. Zora thought to herself as she exited the room. As she glanced toward the room he others were in, she saw the three dragon-girls that were outside walking into the house.
"Oh! There's Zora!" the red-winged one cried.
"Hullo, Skye." Zora muttered, turning toward her room.
"Where're you going?" Darkness asked, "Don't you want to visit with them now that they're here?"
"Tired..." she pulled out a key from her pocket, "They're staying, right?"
"Well, yes we are..." The blue-winged girl mumbled.
"Then I'm going to try and nap for a bit... Usual parameters for bothering me..." and she walked in the room, shut the door, and locked it tight.
"OK, I'm stuck in here for a bit since they think I'm trying to sleep. But you're safe, which is good."
---------------
"What um... ARE these 'usual parameters'?" Skye asked, turning to Darkness inquisitively.
"No one but Rhythm is allowed to bug her at all unless it means her life is in danger if we don't or if there's food involved." Darkness answered.

Adaye breathed a sigh of relief. She sat on a chair next to the open window, clutching her head for no apparent reason.
"Thank you so much for doing this Zora, but how can I see the wedding if I can't let...him recognize me?"
-----
Raiquen perked up for a moment. A sadistic smile flickered across his face for only a split second.
"What consequences are there for violating these...parameters?"

"You're welcome and, well, that's what I'm trying to figure out. I mean, I would really like to make it so he doesn't want to kill you anymore, and I might just be able to, but I'm trying to figure out just when and how to do it." Zora muttered as she flopped onto the bed.
"And there's two people I know who can help me with that."
------------
"Ah, who was it that broke those parameters the last time...?" Darkness put her hand to her chin in thought.
"Was me..." Cyndra mumbled, raising her hand in embarrassment.
"Ohh yeah. Show 'em."
Cyndra groaned, turned around and lifted her shirt in back. Running down the middle of her back was a long, jagged looking scar. It looked old though, like it'd healed.
"Let's just say I'm never trying that again... She could've done worse if I'd been just a second slower, and believe me she tried."

Adaye muttered something inaudible, and said no more on the subject. She was staring out the open window, when Rhythm's head popped in. Adaye nearly fell out of her chair.
"By God, you gave me a start. Don't do that again." She muttered.
"Yes, well, apologies. Zora, come outside with me. There's something you might want to see." Rhythm said, and he looked quite solemn as he ducked out of the window.
---------------
The smile flickered again on Raiquen's face, but he said no more and simply turned his attention to a book that he had found interesting in a nearby bookcase. But soon, his eyes drifted around the room. Raith was floating around aimlessly, Aidan seemed to have just now awakened, and Marshall was asleep on the floor, his hair parted, now showing his eyes. Raiquen turned back to the book, but couldn't keep his attention on it.

"Coming." Zora muttered, glancing at Adaye, "OK, now this shouldn't take long, and they should know not to break the parameters since Darkness will probably have shown them what I did to Cyndra. But if you hear his voice nearby, hide by any means necessary until he's gone. I've told Spirit what's happened by means of a mental connection, and should you need it, just ask via connection and she'll hide you with invisibility. It's easy to connect, all you have to do is just focus on her and she'll notice and reply. Now I'll be back." with that, Zora climbed out the window after Rhythm.
-----

As Skye and her sisters settled into chairs, the yellow-winged one looked around.
"...Slow day?"
Darkness shrugged.
"It got busy after the proposal, but now that most of that's done, yeah."

Rhythm dashed through the trees, then stopped in a clearing. Looking around, he finally chose to head northwest, and ran through those trees until another clearing was reached. Here, he stopped to catch his breath.
----------
Raiquen yawned, then put the book back on the case before standing up and stretching. He then turned and walked without a word towards his room. He opened the door and flopped into a chair.

As soon as she reached the second clearing, Zora nearly collapsed onto a nearby stump and gasped for her breath. Rhythm was a lot faster than she was, and she had struggled to keep up or even keep him in view until they had gotten here.
"Good... God... you're... fast..."
----
Anseyu (yellow-winged dragon girl) was about to ask something else, but Starlight and Hera came out at that particular moment.
"Done, finally." Hera muttered, glancing at the three newcomers.
"Oh. Hello there."

"We can't waste time." Rhythm muttered. He grabbed Zora in both arms and continued down the seemingly endless path. When he got tired again, he began to use his wings to move.
----------
Raiquen stared out the window, then opened it and let the sleet blow in onto his face and body. It felt relaxing to him. Meanwhile, Adaye sat solemnly waiting for Zora to return. After a few minutes, she growled involuntarily.
I can't take this anymore! she screamed in her mind, standing up and unlocking the door.

"What...?" Zora asked needlessly. They were already moving when she had said it anyway. She looked around confusedly, wondering where they were going. But she knew he was serious, so she'd wait until they got there.
---------
Meanwhile, Spirit awoke with a jolt. She'd dozed off as Starlight and Hera had left the room, but was jarred awake by a sort of scream in her mind. It had been distant though, so perhaps it was nothing.
"Oh well, might as well go out with the others... Especially since I should be watching to make sure nothing happens to either of them... Whatever..." she muttered groggily, trudging out of the room.

Rhythm soon skidded to a halt, and let Zora down on her feet. Then, he walked over to a large bush and uprooted it. Behind it was Rayne, bloodied and quite beaten. She looked within an inch of her life.
----------
Raiquen sensed a presence behind him, and as he turned around, Adaye lunged. Rai was knocked down to the ground, Adaye pinning him down and growling murderously.
"You!" Raiquen screamed, attempting to get free. But Adaye's strength was just too much, and he gave up.
"What are you doing here?"
