Closed X: The step into other worlds

"You told me to come back soon, so I came back soon." Rhythm said, before hearing Deax's question. He looked down at his coat and shirt, and tried in vain to brush some of the blood off.
"Bleh...She landed some hits on me then..."
----------
Raiquen stared at Rayne for a moment longer, then sighed. He stood up, and began to walk out.
"If you need me, I'll be in my room."

"Aye, that's true but... who is 'she'?" Zora asked cautiously, although she already had two good guesses. But the first thing she thought to do was treat him.
"You know what? Answer that later. For now just sit down ands let me get something on those wounds. Considering Spirit's occupied."
-------------------
"Alright then." Spirit muttered.
"You almost done there? This ice ball on my tail is getting annoying." Raven growled.
"Yeah, we're almost done." Starlight replied, "Just a minute or so longer."
It was then that Spirit took to healing the hand with the scratched in name on it. Not without taking a picture of said scratched name for evidence though.

Rhythm was almost about to refuse, seeing that he felt fine enough, but he caved in.
"As you wish..." He muttered, sitting down in the seat nearest to him and taking off his shirt and coat. Without those, the wounds looked much more fragile and painful.
----------
Raiquen went to his room, closed the door behind him, and collapsed onto the bed. He stared at the wall for a while, before finally turning the other way and falling asleep. At that moment, Rayne raised her hand, and gripped the edge of the tub tightly.

"Hm... Not too bad, like I thought... Yeah, I don't think you'd need a healing anyway, seeing as these aren't that bad..." Zora muttered as she examined him and tried to ignore the not-so-clean thoughts she was thinking about him now that he didn't have a shirt on. Darkness came back at that moment with some medical tape and gauze pads.
"Sorry, had to go searching that medicine cabinet." she mumbled as Zora took the tape.
"Yeah don't worry about it. It'd take a miracle to get her to clean it out." she held a pad to one of the wounds then wrapped the tape around him.
----------
Spirit flew back about a mile (not literally). She had almost screamed, but suppressed it.
Was NOT expecting that... She thought to herself.
Starlight simply lifted her hand off. They had finished anyway, and she had prepared an explanation for if need arose.

Rhythm nodded, then turned to the window and stared out, lost in thoughts. He hadn't wanted to come back with any injuries, but if that girl hadn't jumped him...Who was that girl? He remembered her from when he had sustained the torture, but vaguely. The last time he had seen her, she had been simply watching, with that crazed amused look on her face...Rhythm shook his head, turning his thoughts to something else.
----------
Rayne reached over and grabbed the other side of the tub, and raised herself up to a sitting position slowly. Eventually, she opened her eyes, and blinked rapidly at the sudden light.
"Wha...Where...?" she muttered, her voice weak.

Zora finished up wrapping the rest of the wounds, then quickly tried to avert her mind from the dirty thoughts (God how she wanted to hit that, basically) and looked over at the window.
"Well I'm glad you're OK."
-------------
As Spirit skittered back into view, Starlight watched calmly.
"Ah, you're awake. Good thing too, because when they brought you in you looked absolutely terrible."
"Is true." Spirit affirmed, "If they had found you any later than they had, you wouldn't still be living right now."

Rhythm nodded in agreement, still staring out the window. His thoughts began to drift back to that girl, and he shook his head violently before picking up his clothes. Stroking Zora's hair as he walked past, he went into his room and left the door open a crack, before falling onto his bed. A different thought occurred to him, and he wondered how Rayne was doing.
----------
Rayne blinked as her vision returned. As she saw who was there, she very nearly fell out of the tub. But her body hurt too much to move, and she sighed.
"Who...found me?"

Zora flopped into the chair behind her after he'd passed and stroked her hair, and she couldn't help but wonder what was on his mind.
Someone jumped him... Was it that one girl that was there when me and...her fought last?
-------------
"It was..." Spirit started, "It was Rhythm and his girlfrien-er, fiancé. As far as I know they're the ones who found you and brought you to us. I could tell it was bothering them as we brought you into the room we'd had you in before this, but they're basically the ones that saved you."

Aidan saw nothing really interesting going on, so he stood up and stretched.
"Everyone else has basically gone to sleep, so bye..." He muttered, turning towards the hallway and walking into his room.
----------
"Mm. Well, you're going to have to give my thanks to them. And I suppose you're the ones who healed me?" Rayne asked, looking down at the now-closed wounds. "Thank you too. But now I must be going-ow." She muttered. She had tried to stand up, but failed and went back down in the tub.
"Never mind."

"...It's only two in the afternoon!" Darkness exclaimed.
"Hey. Not our fault. It's their choice." Zora pointed out.
"That's true, but..."
"Stuff it. I'm going to check on something." she rose from her seat and walked down into the hallway.
--------------
"Aye, I thought that would happen... sorry." Spirit shrugged, "Nothing I could've done about it. Well, suppose we better get you out of there then."
"I'm on it." Skye muttered, "C'mon Raven, let's move her."
"You got it." with that, they both moved over to the edge of the tub and carefully lifted her out of it.
"I'm really sorry if this hurts." Spirit said, before turning toward the door and jumping back at the sight of the redhead who had poked her head in.

Rayne tried hard to stifle the screech of pain she was about to let out. She took a deep breath, and bared through it for now. That's when she saw Zora, and she sighed.
"No matter how much I dislike you, I give my thanks for finding me..." She moaned, still trying to get through the pain.

"It really wasn't a problem." Zora stated, "But you're welcome anyway."
"At least she's grateful..." Starlight muttered to herself. Raven heard it, and delivered a swift smack to the head with her ice-covered tail. The impact broke the ice.
"Don't be rude."
Spirit then pointed out, and Skye and Raven carefully carried her out to the room they had been in before and set her down. She, Zora and Starlight followed after that.
"Again, I'm sorry. Really sorry about having to move you like that. Looked like it hurt pretty bad." Spirit mumbled.

"Quite." Rayne muttered, "It doesn't matter, though..." She raised up slowly to a sitting position, then sighed.
"Whatever possessed Opal to attack me is serious...She or Yvette must have already gotten Rhythm, and now they're going for Mist...God, where is he at a time like this?" She asked herself, slamming down onto the bed. Rayne very nearly screamed in pain, but instead let out a deep breath.
"Alright, bad idea..."

"Well he did say he was jumped, but he's only got minor injur-" Zora paused for a moment as she processed this information.
"Wait hold on what."
Spirit facepalmed.
"We weren't going to tell her that it was her who attacked you until later."
Zora growled deeply from her throat. Spirit did a double-take as she swore she saw her eyes go blank for a moment.
"Oh no..."
"All I know is that one of them jumped Rhythm, but he's fine. Now tell me, who is this Mist of which you speak? You talk as if he means something to you." her tone had changed. Now, it was serious, almost dark.

This time, Rayne sat up without showing any pain. She hung her head as she did.
"Mist is..." She paused for a moment, then stared at Zora.
"Look, you need to calm down before I tell you anything about him. It's too intimidating to talk about him when you're like that."

"She's right. You're freaking me out." Spirit muttered.
"Er, right..." Zora mumbled, before taking a deep breath and rubbing her temples with her fingertips, "It's a bit of an involuntary reaction." a few more deep breaths, and her serious, dark expression softened significantly. She shook her head to clear the last of it, then looked up.
"Sorry about that. Continue."

"Thank you." Rayne said, before sighing again. Basically, she was looking for a way to talk about him when she knew that his chances of death were heightened as they spoke.
"Mist is...He's my only thing in this world worth living for. I don't know what I'd do without him. It would be so hard..." Her voice cracked, and she shook her head, saying no more.

"I see..." Zora trailed off as she was about to say something more. That was... touching. Very much so, and she understood what Rayne was feeling.
"Then I would be honored to look for him for you and try to save him. That is, if you want me to." she bowed.
"Zora, you'd seriously...?" Spirit started. Zora held up a hand to her.
"I would."

"Ohhh..." Rayne moaned. She looked like she was about to just jump up and hug Zora as tight as she could, but in her current state she couldn't.
"Th-thank you so much..." Rayne murmured. For some reason, she felt a strong confidence that Mist was going to make it out alive with their help.
"How can I repay you...?'"
