Closed X: The step into other worlds

Zora chuckled.
"Really, you don't have to. All I really ask for now is that you don't stress yourself too much."
"Zora, how are you-" Spirit started to say, but was cut off.
"I'm going to need a flier, and possibly a healer to come with me. For which I pick Skye and Spirit."
"Wow, um... alright." Skye muttered.
"Starlight, stay here. Tend to Rayne, since she can't really do anything in that state. Raven's gonna have to come with, since Skye can't carry the weight herself. Before I head off I'll tell Darkness what's going on, and if she's not too P.O'ed she'll help you."
"You got it." Starlight shrugged. Wouldn't be too hard.

Rayne desperately wanted to go and help, but it would hinder her more, and she would be more restricted than before. So she simply sighed, and laid down on the bed.
"Please, Zora, bring him back safely..." As long as she was able to see him one more time alive, she would be happy. There was always that.

"I promise. I'll bring him back to you." Zora bowed again, "You have my word. OK everyone! Let's move it out!" she strided out of the room, followed by Skye, then Spirit, then Raven. Starlight kneeled down next to the bed.
"They'll bring him back, don't worry."
--------------
"Spirit, grab the purse. It's still way too cold out there and all our winter gear is in it."
Darkness glanced up at the four coming down the hall.
"...What're you doing?"
"Listen Darkness. I want you to go in with Starlight. There's someone injured in there, and while we're gone she's going to need help tending to her." Zora replied as she was handed the purse.
"I'll do it, but..." Darkness walked up to Skye and pulled a violet hair off her shirt. She held it up.
"Care to explain?"
"Well, it's a long story... You see-"
"Does it have anything to do with Rayne, per chance?"
"Yeah, but just go in and look at her. She's totally helpless. You should've seen her when we brought her in. And well, you-know-who was the one that did it to her."
Darkness paused.
"...Alright. I'll do it, but I won't like it. You owe me for this."
"That's just fine. Now if you'll excuse me, I have someone to find." Zora finished pulling on her winter coat and whatnot as Spirit did, and they walked toward the door. Zora turned back once to look at Darkness.
"If Rhythm asks for me, tell him to call my cell number. Let him use your phone if you have to."
"Understood." Darkness watched as Zora shut the door behind her, then turned toward the window to watch her take off on Skye, with Raven carrying Spirit.

"I sure hope so..." Rayne muttered. As injured as she was, she tried to recollect the memory of what exactly happened. Her and Mist had been traveling through the cold, trying to get away from Opal and possibly Yvette. A flash of black hair came through the frozen trees, knocked her over, and the rest was blank. Although, in her heart, she knew Mist had escaped somehow. He always did. Suddenly, she was jolted back to reality when Raiquen passed by the room. When he saw Rayne awake, he smiled.
"So she finally woke up. Hm."

"They will. I know it." Starlight said. That's when Raiquen looked in.
"Yeah, she's awake." she mumbled, "But she's weak. Understandable though, I mean, you saw her when they brought her in. It'd take a while to heal even with our help. But she is a lot better."
---------------
"You could've at least asked for a description." Skye muttered as Zora searched.
"We should be happy with what we have. Come on, we have to save him for her." she replied.
Spirit batted her hair away from her face annoyedly.
"My barrettes... left them on the sink in that bathroom... Damn it."
"Just shut up and looook..." Raven groaned.

"That's good to hear..." Raiquen muttered tiredly. He nodded, then left down the hallway as Rayne crept back into her thoughts. If Opal had already gotten to Mist...She shook her head, not baring to think about what would happen. Then again, Mist was a skilled fighter, and likely could make it out.

Sephii ran after Zora.

"You might need help if you need a good fighter...." Sephii said, twirling her scythe around.

(xDDD...Mist and Rayne.)

((Flareth, they're already to the point where they can't hear her, and she planned to take Spirit because they're both skilled enough. >>))

Zora looked back once to see something green and black (they were far away now, but she assumed it was Sephii) run out. Probably trying to convince them to take her with.
"We don't need her..." she growled, "The more time we take, the greater the chance is that... never mind. But we can't turn back right now. Spirit, you and Raven fly a bit lower and start calling for him. See if we get a response."
"Yeh." Spirit tapped Raven's shoulder, and they flew lower. Spirit inhaled deeply, and cupped her hands around her mouth.
"Mist! Is there anyone named Mist out here?!"

(Ok....she'll probably follow them just to "ruin" the rescue.))

Sephii started running faster.

"Guys, you might need more help!" she yelled, "There could be enemies around every bend."

She tripped over a rock.

"You'll be sorry." she moaned, crawling back to the house.

(Edited and I really didn't mean ruin. It was in quotes. Sephii is skilled at stuff you know, she's not as dumb as say....Jax...)

Sephii finally crawled back onto the porch, freezing her butt off,

"Someone, let me in." she cried.

Her tears almost turned to ice.

As Rayne continued to think, she abruptly realized that she was tired. Soon, still engulfed in her thoughts, she laid her head down to one side and fell asleep.
Meanwhile, Raiquen had sat down in a chair and looked outside to see Sephii crawling back. Thinking she was doing some crazy thing, he got up and opened the door for her.
"What'd you do this time?"

"We're not getting a reply." Spirit reported.
"Keep calling out for him. We really haven't gone that far." Zora replied simply.
"Fine..."
"Let me take it." Raven growled, "Mist! Where are you?!"

Raiquen closed the door to prevent air from getting in. then snickered.
"Zorora? Don't let her hear you call her that." He muttered, tossing Sephii a blanket before sitting back down.
----------
That's my chance! Opal thought, as her opponent looked up. She dashed towards him, and was able to get a large slice in before returning to a defensive stance. She had better finish this quick. That yell symbolized someone coming, and that wasn't what she needed in a time like this.

"Wait... who's that down there?" Spirit asked as she squinted at a nearby clearing. This attracted Zora's attention, and she followed Spirit's hand to the location.
And she saw a black-haired girl in a defensive stance.
"Take us down! That's her!"
Skye immediately pulled unto a speeding dive, Raven following at an equal pace. About 30 seconds later, at around 20 feet from the ground, Zora leapt off of Skye, withdrawing her sword as she did. The other three flew a safe distance away. Zora immediately lunged at Opal (she had landed behind her), hoping to get in at least one hit.

Opal flinched in pain as Zora sliced her shoulder. Growling, she backed off slowly. Yvette already knew that she couldn't fight the redhead without guilt, so Opal sighed, glanced at Zora once more, before turning and running into the white trees. As Opal ran off, her opponent glared at her before turning to Zora with a questioning glance.

"Why the fuck does she... keep..." Zora sighed mid-sentence, "Gah... Never mind. I'll figure that out later. We need to go." she stared at him with the exact same look he was giving her.
"Really. We'll explain on the way." Spirit muttered as she moved forward, "There's someone waiting to see you back with the rest of our group."
"And it would really mean a lot to her if you would come back with us." Skye reasoned while Zora climbed onto her back again.
"Wait..." Zora paused, "This IS Mist, right?"
