Closed X: The step into other worlds

Raiquen glanced down at Sephii, before sighing. Since he did not know how to make soup, he simply said nothing and waited for someone else to come out.
----------
"Yes. That is my name." Mist muttered, in a dark manner. He gripped his sword tighter as he spoke. "If you will truly explain everything, then I suppose I'll go with you. And, excuse me if I'm wrong, but the one that waits to see me...It's Rayne, isn't it?" Silently, he hoped that it would be Rayne, since he had no idea what had happened to her since they had been attacked.

Darkness sighed.
"I suppose I'll make it." she walked into the kitchen grudgingly and pulled a pan out of one of the cupboards.
-------------
"Yes, it is Rayne." Spirit affirmed.
"Get on then." Skye muttered, "I can carry more than one."
Raven had already jumped into the air, and Spirit pounced onto her back as she flew a bit higher into the air.
"I'll explain when we get there..." Zora mumbled distractedly. It was happening again. That feeling that had caused her to break down the last time.

Sephii curled up in a spare room, sniffling. She would be better by the wedding. Or at least not contagious.

Mist breathed a sigh of relief. Feeling some doubt, he climbed onto Skye carefully. He didn't like the air, not one bit. But as long as he was able to see Rayne again, he'd get over it.

Skye quickly launched into the air. She flew up to meet her sister in the air, not showing much struggle under the weight she had on her. As they both started back toward the house, Zora sighed.
"Something wrong?" Spirit asked from next to her.
"No, nothing's wrong." the house was coming back into view, and Zora was starting to get cold even under the thick winter coat she had on. Wouldn't be much longer until she'd be able to get back into the warm.

Mist said nothing, not liking the altitude at all. He hoped that they would land soon, and that the upcoming house was their destination. To divert from the disturbance, Mist progressively started to think of Rayne. All this would be worthwhile as long as he got to see her again.

Skye and Raven began to descend, a bit to Spirit's surprise but not to Zora's. It was only about a minute later that they landed, and the two other females jumped off.
"She's right inside. Come on in." Spirit stated, "I'll take you to her."
Zora was already at the door waiting for them, and Skye and Raven had gone inside.
"Come on, it's freezing out here."

"What are you talking about?" Mist said to Zora, blinking. "It's not cold at all." As he walked in, he glanced at Zora as if she were crazy, then looked around at the house before realizing it was considerably warmer.
"Mmm, maybe it was a bit cold out there compared to in here."

"Yes well... perhaps you were used to it." Zora muttered, hanging her dark violet winter coat on the hook next to the door. Spirit entered and did the same, before glancing at Mist.
"OK, just go down the hallway and it's the sixth door on the right. My sister should be in there tending to Rayne, so just tell her I sent you in and she should know who you are. She's the one with the black hair and purple dress in case you need to know who you'd be looking for."
Zora merely blinked at her a moment, then walked down the hall herself, knocking on Rhythm's door.
"Rhythm dear, are you in there?"

Mist followed Spirit's instructions, stopping when he saw the described girl and Rayne on the bed. The only thing wrong was that she had so many injuries.
"Oh my God...I shouldn't have left her..."
Meanwhile, Rhythm awoke to a knocking sound and a voice. He hadn't realized he was asleep, and sighed before getting to his feet and opening the door. When he saw who it was, he smiled.
"Hello...Anything you need...?"

"From what she said, had you not left her you might not have escaped. But don't worry, we're taking good care of her." Starlight said, "You're Mist, right? She was very worried about you."
----------
"You sound like you were sleeping." Zora chuckled, "You look like it too. No, there's nothing I really need, per say, I was just checking to see how you were." she looked around the room and sighed.
"Mind if I come in?"

"Yes, I am Mist. And if Rayne trusted herself into your care, then I can too." Mist said, dashing to her bedside and sitting down.
"Oh God...Can she remember what happened? Or has she told you?"
----------
Rhythm rubbed his eyes tiredly, opening the door wider as an invitation for her to come inside. It felt like he had slept an entire night, but he knew that he had slept probably a half hour. Sighing, he fell into a chair.

"Yes, she told us what happened." Starlight reported, "The poor thing. I really wish I could help her more than I have been, but the way she is now anything I could do would have to wait..."
-------------
"Hehe, you look exhausted." Zora sighed as she walked into the room and fell back on the bed. She stretched out contentedly and glanced at him.
"You know, I really want to know how you ended up with the comfortable one."

Mist touched Rayne's face tenderly, then stood up and began to walk out.
"When she speaks again, notify me." was all he said as he walked out. Personally, he couldn't bear to see her in that state. It just reaffirmed his guilt.
----------
Rhythm shrugged.
"I guess I'm lucky." He said, before realizing he hadn't put back on his coat and shirt from earlier. He sighed, walked around to the other side of the bed, and began to dress out again.

Starlight just nodded silently, then crouched down where he had been sitting.
"I just wish there was something more I could do.." she sighed.
-------------
"Hrrrm... You probably are." Zora muttered quietly. Her head had been filled with that feeling she'd felt earlier, and she'd come in here to alleviate that. And seeing him like that had certainly worked. It always did.

Mist walked into the main room, and sat down in one of the many chairs. That's when Raiquen came out, and blinked at the sight of him before withdrawing his sword.
"Who are you?" He asked nervously. Mist looked over his shoulder in a calm manner, and raised his hands.
"I am no enemy. I am simply here for Rayne."
----------
When Rhythm finished dressing out, he sighed, picked up a comb, and tried to tame his messy hair. It didn't work, as always, and he put the comb down before sitting on the bed next to Zora.
"Are you alright...? You seem tense..."

"Cool it Rai." Spirit murmured. She was flopped over in a chair, and looked quite comfortable.
"What he says is the truth. It's all good."
"What's with you?" Darkness called from the kitchen. It appeared she had forgotten about the soup and was making herself lunch.
"Nothing's with me." Spirit replied.
---------------
"I'm tense...?" Zora asked cluelessly, "Oh, sorry... But I'm just fine, you don't have to worry..." she stretched some more, then glanced up at him.

"Aye, sorry." Raiquen muttered, putting away his sword.
"No need to be. It was just a simple misunderstanding." Mist replied, examining the room.
----------
Rhythm stared at her for a bit longer, before smiling.
"If you insist." He said, yawning, "I suppose you're very comfortable."

Spirit watched Darkness walk out with a plate of something and sit down in a nearby chair.
"Weren't you supposed to be making-"
"Shut it. It's in the microwave right now."
------------
"Mmm, I am..." Zora yawned, "This is very comfortable..." she stretched out some more, until she heard her back crack and she stopped.
"OK, that kinda hurt, but still..." she muttered, before yawning again. She still stared up at him, and she smiled pleasantly.
