I died a little inside when I found out they'd made "new" My Little Ponies that were sparklier and thinner than the old 80's-90's ones ;~;

And nothing will ever, ever beat The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's the greatest book ever written.

I used to watch The Really Wild Show and The Crystal Maze religiously. And Live and Kicking when they showed Pokemon (I used to sneak downstairs on Saturday mornings X3).

The Horrible History books taught me more than any history lesson ever will, I never found the Goosebumps books scary, but had every singe Animorph book ever, including the Andalite and Hork-Bajir Chronicles and the Megamorph series XD

I hope I'm not the only one who remembers the computer program Logic with the little turtle that drew lines when you put in numbers X3

And this pretty much sums up everything I remember of primary school:

sitting cross legged in school assembly, school festivities, decorating the christmas tree (that seemed to be about 14 foot tall) in the school hall/dining room... harvest festival - bringing in a tin of sliced pineapple?!?!

Those were the days.

Before we realized all this would eventually disappear.
Who would have thought you'd miss the 90's so much!!!!!

Your one of the few who remember Dinosaurs, I loved watching that show, wasn't it on Disney? But over half this list describes my early childhood. I remember always want to go to the Mcdonalds Play PLace, heck, i remember that Mcdonalds had an outdoor place that you would drive up to and they'd take your order there, and send your order by computor inside. I dont know of that was supposed to be something new or something old. The highschool im going to now wasnt made till '99, rugrats, and jesus doug!!!!! That was my most favorite show ever, i'd give anything to see doug again (the original doug, not the newer ones shown on toon disney), tho i always rember it being on Nick when it was made by disney. ANd thank god the boy bands are gone (mostly gone). All That. This list is almost describes my childhood, even ferbies!!!! I even remember having to hook up to the phone line to get internet, I remember getting my first online user on the internet on the newly created nick.com. Those were happy times. And I'll never forget them, thanks a lot for posting this man.

*sigh* Maaaan, I remember just about all of that.

I think I still have my ol' Yak Back, actually, and I think I have a Furby somewhere. Saved a LOT of stuff from the 90's I did. But then, I'm a pack rat.

...I miss old!All That. And I still want the big ear of corn...

And of course you guys only remember stuff from Dannichu's list. You're European. You weren't awesome enough to remember the American stuff >| *brutally murdered by a bunch of Europeans*

'93 but I remember some of that stuff...despite the fact that ever since I learned to read I spent more time doing that than anything else.

I died a little inside when I found out they'd made "new" My Little Ponies that were sparklier and thinner than the old 80's-90's ones ;~;

Those were the days.

Yup, My Little Ponies got caught by the fashion industry. Anorexic, sparkly horses. Not cute, plump horses.

The Hungry Caterpillar! Oh, that brings back memories.
Incidentally, does anyone remember the book like the hungry catepillar that was about a spider building its web?

I remember that turtle! I only saw it at primary school once.
I used it for about 5 minutes; I input a number, saw this tortoise/turtle move. My immediate thought was: "What on earth?" I couldn't get it to change direction, so I gave up a few minutes later. I STILL REMEMBER IT THOUGH!

Hehe. Now that I think of it, aside from the whole "over-using the internet" thing, I am very, very similar to what a 90's kid would be. To tell the truth, I really don't fit in with a lot of stereotypes for this generation. I have no MySpace. I have no Facebook. I've never used one of those IM chatting things. I've never downloaded music or videos. I've never sent a text message. Most of the music I listen to is over 12 years old. I still think videocassettes are awesome.

Ah, even though I was 7 years old when 2000 came, I still remember when beepers and public phones were commonly used, and few people had cellphones. Good times...

And nothing will ever, ever beat The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's the greatest book ever written.

^-yes. just, yes.

Also, PLEASE tell me that some one here remembers those mechanical, motion-activated dogs! What were they called... Poochies or something like that...

Yeah, Poochis were great. I remember my sister got one for Christmas and after about three days I don't think we ever played with it again. Same with her Furby a few years before X3

OH GOD FURBIES. They made the nineties. XD Nyaaaaam~!

Does anyone remember gel pens? :D I guess this was back when I had a sense of smell because I remember having loads of them. And there was this white bubblegum one I used whenever I found black paper~

My gran has a collection of pink troll dolls. XD I remember nearly everything on Dannichu's list~

As endorsed by George W. Bush!

I had this video with adaptations of loads of Eric Carle's stuff - TVHC, but also The Very Quiet Cricket and the Mixed-Up Chameleon and some other stuff. It was one of my favourite videos when I was really young, and my brother inherited it from me. He loved it as well. There's this bit at the end of the video, where there's the violinist and the psychedelic backgrounds; it made me cry when I was younger, because of the music. I still always get a little soppy when I hear violins. :3

Hey, that implies we don't now? ;D

I remember a lot of stuff in this thread! In elementary school during recess a bazillion kids would be trading Pokemon cards to the point that Pokemon anything got banned. Not that it stopped anyone.. good times, good times. xD
I still have two furbys from when I was little, and they scared the heck out of me. One is light purple and I think it was for Easter or something, and the other's brown. One of them broke a long time ago, and now it makes this weird buzzing noise and smells bad. Possibly because I was always throwing it against the wall at night when it started talking. I miss the good ol' days.....
Now I sound old!!
