• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Nooooo bulbasaur don't do ittt. You're killing trees!

B-but math contests make me sadface because I don't know how to do /anything/! ;~; And ABCD's just lazy, I think, haha.
All attacks with the /critical class/, so moves like Stone Edge, Night Slash, etc.

I prefer subtle humour. Though it kinda sucks if no-one gets it. :P

Oh, it's not required for us. Neither of us did it, though ABCD was doing some of the problems in English. I was busy working so I didn't check his progress, but it sounded like he was doing fine.
In ASB, crit chances are 5%, not 10%. Says in the first post of the A&A Guide.

(it was /supposed/ to illustrate "drowning in laughter" but I'm not sure how well my intentions came across!)
Oh, when I roll, low numbers make effects come into play. I just roll out of 100. So like for Giga Impact, the first 90 would be a hit, the last 10 would be a miss; for a crit, the first 5 would be a crit, the last 95 would not be.

    It's both!
Woot! Rolled a 1 on my first try. :D Now if only that was in an actual ASB battle.

    this is bulbasaur right now
    D: D: :D D: D:

Ah. Yeah, my eyes are much worse than yours :P

Pokemon Trainer RED would like to battle!
Don't worry, they don't do that often!
By the way, I distantly recall that you wear glasses sometimes (you forgot them during a math contest, or something?). How bad are your eyes?

Funny that you'd say that, because you're younger than me :D
When /I/ was /your/ age, we had to carry our desks, chairs, and twenty textbooks to school. It was a struggle to find such huge backpacks, and I don't think my back has ever recovered. *crack*

I know right? :D They're amazing! Except when they wake you up in the dead of night.

Sure, tomorrow. He's already gone to sleep. Young whippersnappers these days *grumblegrumble*

Alternatively you just have healthier sleeping habits than the rest of us! (especially me cough)

Yup, that's exactly what happens. I have no idea /how/ it happens but... it works. *shrug*

    Haha, my scanner just loves to scan things HUGE. And... I can't help you there; I don't understand what this is about anyway xD;
    Yup, he got the JELLYBEANS.

No, the current trend is not to sleep any earlier than 11!

Oh no, they're night lenses. The kind you pop into your eyes before bed. Some weird magic happens and in the morning your vision is pretty much perfect.

... oh pff, should've figured. :P And... I just hate deep snow in general, so I'll pass on that, haha. I don't have snowshoes or skies either! Hmm, I don't suppose running shoes are proper footwear for hiking? ): I hate wearing anything other than running shoes.

Also, I finally remembered to scan the math stuff for you! It's... uh, upside-down, whoops. ABCD wrote extra big for you (he has /really/ tiny writing)! :D Not sure if this is what you're looking for but it's what he gave me so *shrug*

(n; adj) A person who is regarded as dull, rigidly conventional, and out of touch with current trends.

(I know! Sadly I still got the same amount of sleep because something wiggled its way into my contact and woke me up at 6:30. ._.)

... haha, we could /try/ to go for the second-tallest peak, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold out, especially if it's chilly, since my stamina is /worse/ than that of a dead fox's when it's cold. But the blueberries are tempting. :0 And if I start to keel over I'll let you know. So if you have a backpack, that's a yes to bringing the Helium picture, right? Should I still stick it in a folder?

So early @_@ There is one person in my class who goes to sleep at 10 and everyone regards her as a total square.

Going to try to sleep a bit earlier (read: 1, not 2!) tonight, but before I go and before I forget, need to ask you a few questions:

Is it a better idea to keep my sketchbook at home or bring it with me to the mountains? I really want to draw some stuff while we're there but I'm afraid I'll drop it/it'll get in the way or something.

Do you still want that picture of Helium I drew? If so, should I put it in some folder thingy so it doesn't get bent?
Oh wow, that's ridiculously early. When do you go to sleep? o.o Everyone in my class goes to sleep at like 11 to 11:30, or later.

    Hey, bulbasaur! I think that's the fourth brain I've gone through recently? Keep this up and my family will have no money and we'll have to live on the streets. ;~;

I have trouble sleeping at 1. 2 is when I start getting sleepy.
... so no hope? TT_TT (I knew they didn't look /exactly/ like sine curves but they look somewhat similar. Aaand haven't learned bezier curves yet so I can't say anything there!)

(sorry, that was a bluff! 8D; I had trouble falling asleep last night (ended up sleeping at 2) so I'm not thinking very clear today.
/However/ I just went on Google and saw their logo and thought of sine curves immediately. Is there Asian-hope for me yet?)

I'm sorry I don't mean to ;~; The puns just slip out by themselves! (was /so/ tempted to throw another pun in there but baby brothers waking up probably equals crying so that's not pleasant)

Uhm, we usually order it in Cantonese *unexists* but it's tieguanying in Mandarin, I think. (also forgive me if that pinyin is incorrect; it's been ages since I've used it :P)
... ;~; Everyone says oolong is better, but my mom never buys it and I don't know whyyy. And at restaurants we always have some weird Asian tea with no applicable English translation.
Say, do you have oolong tea that's een buried underneath mount Lufu for as long as you've been alive?
