• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

IT'S MY FAULT. I TOLD HIM TO USE HIS SIGNATURE MOVE.
I WONDER IF POKEMON CENTERS CAN RESTORE A POKEMON FROM A PILE OF ASH?
    NOOOO BULBASAUR ;~;

    WAT))

Like a walking mass of flame! Khao is a Typhlosion no longer. Just... a walking mass of flame.
Not just one can. Need MORE. MORE.

((That's because it's not ridiculously emo like the others! ... man, looking back, I was a seriously disturbed kid.))
Paaaint fumes. Can't get enough of this shit.

((... I'll PM it to you. It's too embarrassing to post it in public!))
We asked Negrek about this before, or something close to it, at least.

If it's a physical attack, the interceptor has to be at least as fast as the attacker, since they're literally racing each other to the target to block it.

If it's a ranged attack, a Pokemon within around 30-40 points of base speed can intercept the attack, since they have more time to get to the target before it's hit.

In both cases, a Pokemon can use a move after intercepting as long as it's of normal or higher priority. However, they can't move much at all within the same action after intercepting, so if their target is not within immediate reach, a contact/physical attack will fail.
Like dude, paint fumes. Awww, yeah.

((Naw, I tried my hand at writing poems in middle school, but they always came out emo. Rather depressing so I stopped.))
I'm not sure if I should take this seriously or not.
... oh well. Here, have some oil paint.

    ...
    ...
    WHAT?!?
((search within yourself and you shall find the answer))
I'm not sure if I get /high/ really. Paint thinner is bad to breathe in, but I only get dizzy; I don't bounce off the walls or anything.

    ...
    ...
    what???
No, it's slippery and ew. ):
    ...? What's so ...?
Ah, I see. Although that was sortakinda still in context since it was referring to sandpaper hands, right?

    ...
    ...
    what?
Yeah. I don't know how to explain it, but... the texture of the cream makes me shudder a bit inwardly. D:
... unintentionally! Whenever I do an oil painting I always lean too close to it and end up getting dizzy from breathing it in.
(I know, right? Ever since my parents stopped forcing handcream on me, I've never gotten a splinter.
    And I'm not kidding.
Also why do you use double brackets?)

    ...
    ...
    what???
Oh, that's not too bad then. It's still kinda too... slippery for me though. I like my sandpaper-like hands as they are! And I don't /hate/ it, but I'm not that fond of it.

    ...
    ...
    what?
What, lotion and cream? ): They smell too strong for me because I have a sensitive nose, so I tend to stay away from them.
Fixing holes in city pavement after some idiot trainer decided to tear up the ground for a Rock Slide.

    ...
    ...
    what???
No, not your soft, docile hands! D: Maybe you could wash them in the fountain or something.
... hm! Good point. (thought taxpayer money is frequently spent on pointless things hurr)

    ...
    ...
    what?
Then I expect you to always carry tongs with you. :D
But it's pretty (I assume)! Pretty things are nice.

Mechanical brains are expensive. Anyone can build a little robot and program it do things, but to give it sentience and individual thought? /That/ requires some serious cash.
You would even if I wasn't there, right? Because you're a good person who doesn't want to see our planet being polluted. :D
... wait, do they actually? That sounds pretty awesome.

bulbasaur that is the third brain I've gone through lately. Do you have any idea how expensive brains are to replace?
