• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Oh, was today your first day? How was it? Did you get hopelessly lost at all?
Let's see how many times I'll have to ask for directions :P
Yeah, as am I, and... well, just go check the bottom right corner of the ASB subforum. That's the team that's going to (hopefully) revive ASB. We should be starting very soon.

No, thanks :P I have a feeling I'm a ridiculous lightweight (short skinny dark-eyed Chinese girl - all the markers right there) and a weird silly drunk. I also really dislike the taste of alcohol.

I'd probably find it pretty stressful D: I'm very easily distracted and my entire family agrees I'll be too busy craning my neck to look at a piece of roadkill to keep my eyes on the road, and then I'll crash.

Haha, oh man I can't imagine having that discussion with someone around the age of my parents. Actually, I can only imagine having that discussion with one person while partially maintaining a straight face.

Brains does get you places too, except it won't if you don't work. And I suppose I did an average amount of work, so average progress it is for me. :P Oh wait, I don't think I asked which program you're going into?
Ahh, okay. Well I guess we probably won't see each other again for a long, long time (if ever) because I don't really have any reason to go to McGill... or if you go for another road trip, stop by Toronto and say hi! :D

Ahh, okay. I'll try to remember, and then I'll forget to refer to you as Tim instead of bulbasaur.
    Hi hi bulbasaur :D

And TCoD told me it was your birthday, of course. If you're old, how old do you think I feel? ;~; I'm turning 18 in a month I feel like I'm /growing up/ aaa

... that's pretty damn awesome. All that blatant speeding! I'm actually terrified of speeding and I'd probably be wailing if I was in the same car as you, but /170km/h and 120km above speed limit holy crap/ the fear might be worth it for the sheer thrill. Also ha a ticket for being /just/ 32km above the speed limit, that actually made me laugh. Didn't get into any accidents, I assume? Any near things? I still haven't gotten my license and being scared of driving, idk when I'm gonna get it...

Who were you talking with about the crasser physical qualities of women, out of curiosity? And I like how being stuck in a real traffic jam was a "pretty amazing thing".

... wow, I feel dumb right about now. Why do you have to be so smart? And your family is staying in St. Catherine's, right? Would you go back to visit?
Ooh, is Anna your girlfriend? Also just watch, I'm going to say "bulbasaur says hi" and she'll be utterly confused.

Yeah, pretty much. And you can't? Hm, that's odd... I'll see if permisisions have been fiddled with, since I rarely do admin stuff there.
    BULBASAUR

... you haven't been online very recently ): I hope you didn't disappear or die or something

At any rate HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAN you're like the same age as me for a month, enjoy it! ... although you're going to be experiencing pretty much the same stuff as me, going to uni and all. Hey, don't think you told me which uni you were set on?
Yup. It'd be pretty worrying if I managed to drown in the floods in Toronto, considering I'm halfway across the world, in HK right now. :P

But funnily enough, my house floods rather easily but it escaped unscathed this time.
That's okay, we grow up. Everyone looks back and laughs at themselves.
Wasn't that during the sig attribute/move spree when we were devising the best moves to beat up the legendaries? Maybe I was overeager to approve it. :P

Oh yeah, I remember that your tourney battle was pretty intense. ... great, now you roped me into reading /my/ old battles. There go a few hours.
Don't worry, mostly everyone thinks that about themselves when they look back at old things :P Either that, or they think they were an idiot.
Aaand I can't seem to find Helium's sig move/attribute, though I vaguely recall poetry being involved. Don't remember if it was good or bad.

Don't worry, I do that sometimes :P I really miss ASB sometimes
It's not my sort of event either, but I figured I'd go anyway, since I'll only have one chance... plus I enjoyed middle school grad, so.

but it's not cold in Antarctica during the summer! Actually, last year my English teacher ditched us for two weeks to go to Antarctica and he said it was pretty awesome.
... oh wait, are you going to prom? You're technically grade 12, right? But you're a year younger so I'm not really sure

I hear Antarctica is pretty nice during the summer!
Don't worry, you'll get used to it too!

    Hopefully

I mean you probably better, if you're gonna live in this area much longer
Nope, not at all. I did it again today.

And we haven't used the air conditioning at all so far, so.

Maybe it's because I've lived here all my life? Maybe I'm used to it? I'unno
    ... ahaha, I see. :P

Ah, I see. Well, depends on how much shorter, I suppose, although being the lazy bum I am I'd probably stay wherever I was.

Sure, I'll just go tell my mom that now! What do you mean, mom, I can't go?
And actually, sorry to disappoint, but my mom told me yesterday that we have a thingy to go to Saturday night. ): So it seems I can't make it after all.

... oh wow, so it is. Off the top of my head I know I have at least a thousand posts (90% which are probably in ASB) but yeah, that's still quite a lot.
All that comes to mind is the massive inflation in Germany after WW1.

For me, I'd have to save around several hundred for me to drag my lazy ass that far...

Hmm, I might be able to do that, although my mom tends to get paranoid if I stay out after dark (makes me sound like a kid)... I'll have to know the specifics to be sure. Time, where to?
Haha, well you never know, averages just seem to keep getting higher, since the teachers and all keep getting nicer/pressured to give their students higher marks...

... how much money would you save? Enough to make the money and time spent on the way to Toronto worth it?

I rarely turn on my cell phone, so good luck reaching me :P
    well you're in canadia

    according to usnco it's methanal

maybe it's just a usian thing

or maybe it's an iupac thing

or maybe it's just a nobody does this but screw you thing
