Uhm... To be honest, I think about the Pokemon's playing style first, then what I'd like them to be able to do, and then base the move/attribute off of that. So for example, for Khao, I wanted him to KILL WITH FIRE, so I designed the move to activate Flash Fire from his Magmarizer, and for him to be able to deal extra damage when he's low on health (when Blaze will also be activated). However, Negrek made me realize that his Magmarizer could be stolen, rendering his fire moves useless, so I created the signature attribute to prevent that from happening.

Hm, Ivysaur? Depends on your playstyle with it. If you like to play stally (like how I play with my Cradily), Big Root is terrific. Otherwise... hm, Black Sludge is always nice. I can't see Ivysaur benefiting much from Life Orb or Muscle Band or Expert Belt, or similar items, since it's not made for all-out attacking.

Well if you insist :0 I folded him a thousand paper swans and gave him the thousandth and thousand-and-first for Christmas last year. Since they're a symbol of ~LOVE~ and whatnot because they mate for life and yeah (I am not usually this mushy okay D<). Since then they've kinda been a symbol for us. Then in his White version he caught a Ducklett in the wild which happened to have perfect sp. atk and speed IVs as well as a Timid nature (lucky bastard) and decided to name it Forever. I bred myself a Ducklett of the opposite gender with matching natures and IVs and named it Always. And now they are Swanna of opposite gender with the same moveset and blah blah blah. Forever and Always get it hurr.

When he gets enough money he'll probably buy a Ducklett too.
