• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Fuck yeah Gorillaz. I remember hearing "Feel Good Inc." in this ol Season 3 (or was it two, this is afterhe got shot and then could walk cause of some weird drug treatment :v) House ep.

    i squee-d. which never happens ever :V
    Up.

By the way, remember when, once upon a time, I told you I would try to come up with a Digimon RP so you could hijack it with credit? Weeeell, I might kind-of-sort-of have an idea. Thing is, since I have very little going on in the way of RPing now, I do think I could at least co-DM it. Soooo, you and I could be the DMs.

Either way, THE IDEA! Well, it's not so much an idea as it is a concept. That doesn't make any sense, but if you know how to decipher my kind of not-making-sense-ness, you will understand.

LOL OMG YOU GET TO PLAY THE ROYAL KNIGHTS (and I thought my days of gimmicky, 'YOU GET TO PLAY AS [insert group of established characters here]' were over)

That's pretty much the gist of it. Er, ideas for a premise? This can be a collaborative project like the RitD Digimon arc. That is, if you feel like doing it.
YUSH Best New ASBer :'D THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE
*pssst I'm the one who nominated Holon Field in the first place so yeh!*

Well, better keep the Word document anyway, in case Negrek feels like accepting new items later :D
Hey hey, Dwa-Ggun~ The ASB Awards are being announced tomorrow! *eyes Best New ASBer avidly*

On another note, are you planning to rejoin the ASB tournament?
It's a crying shame I can't find this in higher quality.

Not that that has to do with anything.
I wouldn't call him anything. He'd suck so much I'd refuse to acknowledge his existence.

Generally, homophobes try not to look gay/feminine. WHAT IS THIS FAGGOT TREE *shot*

SHINING EEVEE + DRAGON + DIGIMON + VM = EPIC
He wouldn't be epic were it not for pink. Then I couldn't call him CRUSADERMON OF EPIC! D:

And at first I thought you meant 'homophobia'. Which fits equally well.

EPIC CONVERSATIONS OF EPIC EPIC EPIC CRUSADERMOOOOOOON
Purple? I think you mean magenta. YOUR MONITOR MUST BE WEIRD

Because pink is a feminine color (totally contradicting your comment previous). Just think about it: he carries a rose, he has blade sashes that look suspiciously like ribbons, he acts very effeminate, and he is obsessed with beauty, himself supposedly being the peak of such beauty.

Now imagine that he is blue. Boring, right? The description above isn't as nearly as fitting anymore. You take away his pink, you take away his personality.

So don't wish such horrid things on poor Crusadermon. D: Besides, I like these conversations.
A bit, yes, but definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. Not only that, my monitor is very sensitive about pixels, being of high resolution (as you can see from the screenshot) and a flat screen. Great for looking at sprites, though.

    YEAAAAH CRUSADERMON OF EPIC
Looking at anime-shots like that one, I can't honestly see him as female. But that could be because I haven't yet been brainwashed by the Frontier dub.
Well yes. You can only have one RSP character and with approval some minor characters that appear like once or twice.
I often let my characters borrow my traits. I'm talking about me, as in, the real person me (or persona). I don't know why, but I've always felt odd expressing myself in a detached manner, if you know what I mean. That, and I'd be paranoid about portraying myself as too Mary Sue-ish, more so than I would with any other character.

    That, and self-inserts are boring.
If no one can tell it's an insert, it's not an insert. If a self-insert isn't completely obvious to anyone who knows the writer, then it's merely a case of borrowed traits. In my opinion. However, I do believe self-inserts are fine if said character is a minor one, preferably cameo (and not a Mary Sue, I might unnecessarily add). I personally have an aversion to them because I just don't feel comfortable doing them in serious writing.
    Um... not on purpose?
    ...
    WAIT
    THAT MEANS...!
    *terminates self*
    SELF-INSERT BAD
