• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Good thing that instead of going that far I've just been doing a lot of jobs. Copiously many at once.
I wish I had the option of just saying "Grrroooaaarrr!" back.

You know, as a timid human-Chespin.
I had already made a comment about the squad thing! Anyway it should be fixed now.
It's a very prickly situation, but, if your rule isn't wrong or arbitrary, you're within your rights to enforce it. Even in a tournament battle, it's only inevitable that some things in ASB don't go exactly like people were planning. If you want to give the commanding trainer a heads-up, you're free to, but you'll want to do it before the other trainer issues commands, since exploiting a loophole in the opponent's commands is within their rights.

If nothing else, Focus Punch in particular is a move people can't cry foul about being unable to use reactively. Even the battle messages in the games make it pretty clear that the move's charging spans nearly an entire turn, so you have to dedicate no less than that much time to using it.
Hrmm, kinda tricky, but I'd interpret "not being able to hit her" as situations where it's completely impossible, like if she was using Protect or out of range after using Bounce or something. With Double Team, it's still possible to attack her, just more difficult. So, I'd still have Sefer use Earth Power in that situation.
Heh, that's pretty interesting. They've really done a lot in PSMD to make some moves actually fit in the roguelike environment. (Even if Transform is now hell in a delectable blob-shaped package.)
Hmmm, I don't think I've seen. Mightyena are weak to Pin Missile so they usually don't get to attack me.

As far as moves that mess with held items go, though, permanently losing a Joy Looplet to a dumbass confused temporary teammate using Trick wasn't as adorable.
I'm aware of it working for Blinker Seed and the like. It working for stat-up drinks is news to me though.
Huh, that's ridiculous. I'm going to do it, but that's ridiculous.
... Oh, now I get it.

I'm probably mixing up names, but isn't the Water Looplet that one with like just two notches and the effect of letting you throw things across unlimited distances? (If there's a Looplet that affects stat-boosting items, though, I do have a giant hoard of those, so, that looks like profit in the works...)
That Banette goes on to explain that it feeds off the nasty feelings, doesn't it.
So MF said I should ask you about Horsea's air swimming! He also said he didn't see a problem with it. I'm going to send her out, but if there's an issue with it, let me know and I can modify my commands/throw her over the side right away.
Oh. That's not surprising, it's probably trying to do something with user.id and borking because user is None.
I copied the current db state to a test copy and it doesn't give me an error if I log in as you there...
