• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • It sure is.

Not that my chances of not having five-hour lectures anymore are nil at this point, but at least they might get to be about something more interesting.
Well... To say the least, I am only showing up to uni once a week (which is where my current once-weekly rush hour subway ride comes from). What's coming up is a different kind of school stuff.
It's not for long. In about two weeks, I'll get to do it daily once again. You know, major perks.
I don't actually know if I do, but next week I may have to ride the subway one hour before rush hour, so I'll be able to make an experiment.
I don't even have the playlist, it just spontaneously happens in that tragic moment.

And by spontaneously I mean that you actually hypothetically have the kind of time to do that anyway, since the next train is going to take ages. And that's even accounting for the awful signal you'd expect from being on mobile underground.
Well, we have the next best thing: a train finally approaches the crammed station, but the PA comes to announce that it's actually headed for maintenance and will not be making a stop, and so comes along that moment when the train just passes you by and all you can do to cope is put on an entire playlist of songs about your baby who's gone away.
Nah, I can just experience that selfsame feeling by realizing that the ridiculous amount of people waiting on the next train can only mean the aforementioned next train has been held up for a while, which means it'll show up already crammed to the roof and then you'll have to squeeze in, with the entire mob that's waiting on the current station, and also everyone else who'll try to board in the next stations, unless you're willing to wait on the next train, which will most likely be suffering from the exact same problem, so there's not actually an escape.
hahaha I literally don't remember at all why I named Pokey Pokey, but it was based on some kind of free-association mental thread like I do for all my Pokemon (for instance, spinarak -> spider -> spider-man -> gwen stacy -> gwen; malamar -> mal -> malcolm reynolds from "Firefly" -> reynolds)
I haven't had to face it personally so far, but we do have many rowdy soccer fans and some subway lanes that can get them very close to their cherished arenas.
I don't know if you're already aware of this, but the first google result for "Pokey" tells me it's a slang term for prison. So Cool Beauty Violet Temptation's Imprison put Pokey in the pokey. Well played.
I'm guessing all that Attract wank reminded a lot of people that Attract exists, which cost them sleep.
If you get good enough at the Battle Subway to get a streak of 75 wins in a row, you can get an item that gives your party Pokemon experience when you win in the Battle Tower, which makes leveling tasks like that marginally less painful (only marginally, though)
It's sad that Brave Bird is more closely associated with Staraptor because Braviary is literally a brave bird

    *waits for laughter*
I probably shouldn't be on GPX at work but there's nothing else to do atm so I clicked your Vespiquen for you

Also for what it's worth if you're looking for a fast exploration, I don't think I remember The Angered Gods of Weather having any feeding tasks. But on the flip side it's very Battle Tower-heavy so idk if that's up your alley
i just watched a Let's Play and enjoyed it just fine

in fact since the fights require real-time reactions and I'm terrible at that, watching a Let's Play was probably the much better choice for me
