• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Cool. Maybe we can bring it back. I don't know what I should/could do, I don't want to godmod and control the people who haven't replied to me, but we should try. We don't want it to be an OFFICIAL bump by more than a month.
The RitD post. Your last one. I thought you were in a different place and were referring the the main plot instead of the introduction place. That make sense?
Wait, was your rp thing about me? I get it now, thought it was in a diferrent placxe before
I was just speaking with Dragon and she gave the OK, so expect a PM. Bosses! :D
I admit, I do have that problem sometimes, but I can usually think of something if I'm particularly desperate. Two methods I find to be good at starting conversations: pointing out an interest that you both share, particularly if said person is unfamiliar, and giving a compliment.

Quite ironic that I would be giving someone social advice, but yeah.
Indeed. But, since I was already at a loss for where to take it from there, its death may not have been a bad thing.

If you don't have much to do on the forums, VM me! I love having conversations, and it makes me sad when active members leave voluntarily as though there is nothing to do.
Yeah. That's the problem with so many RPs on TCoD. A particularly good RP may have a huge explosion of members at the start, but in the end, it's a miracle if one lasts more than two weeks. Illusions of the Past is an extreme example of this, if you'll remember; in the first day it was posted, it gained posts at a rate rivalling The Smash Dojo on its first day, then near-completely stopped in, if I remember correctly, about a week.

The unlucky soul who suggests another SSB RP will get mauled, that's all I know. ^_^
Then I must be very good at giving the impression that I know what I'm doing when I don't; I suppose The Smash Dojo was alright, but by the time it got a sequel it was hell in a handbasket. How do you run an RP centering around a large cast of characters with less than ten 'active' members, and only about two or three truly active members including the DM? You don't. And yet I kept slapping together filler just to keep it 'alive.' As for The Outsiders, I guess it had potential, but it certainly didn't go anywhere. So I'm neutral.

You couldn't make me do another SSB RP if you held a gun to my head, let's put it that way.
    Nope. Nothing.

Somehow it seems incredibly ironic and not such a good idea that I'd get known for doing SSB RPs.
I don't actually know if she doesn't want anyone to know, but judging by the way she was so quick to take things to PM when I began to VM her about the premise, I think she's paranoid. XP Well, I myself don't like to spoil things, so.

"Not even the comic panel can contain him!" XD

Stallord. I felt like going for a series I wasn't familiar with; after all, with my shallowness in the way of video games, I had to.
The boss? I have several planned. Of course, two of them will be going on simultaneously, and all but one are gang fights. Recently, I've been working on an idea for a different ending that I have yet to put by Dragon which would give us an extra fight. You know I love to go boss-crazy. I don't want to reveal any names, since Dragon would clobber me over the head with Balmung, but if you ask very, very nicely, and with Dragon's permission, I'll PM them to you.

And what bosses do you have planned for your Transformers arc? *prepares to be confused*
I don't suffer so much from modesty as I do the fear of making a fool of myself by accepting a compliment too eagerly. The effect is the same.

Same here. Dragon's and my Digimon arc will be next, so don't get any ideas. ;o
