• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Well, I made a couple of sprites for Badd, but, since my spriting skills are pretty subpar, the results aren't probably that good.

Yes, I'm totally with you on the greatness of "ladders=/=stepladders", though my favourite geeky moment is either "No, Maya - this is SPARDA" or "Well excuuuuuseme, princess!". Or "In west Clowndelphia I was born and raised" but that's less geeky and more just plain awesome. Guh, I could go on <3

Russian hats! Are great. I want one. My dad has a hat he likes to pretend is Russian, and I want to steal the little communist pin he put on it X3 It would go with my communist earring! :D
    Russian Janitor YESSSS.

I got SS on the release date, too; my housemate and I got up early (well, before midday, which is early for me) and practically ran to Gamestation and got our games along with the figurines because we were so cool we pre-ordered them and then spent the entire day playing them. I had something like 17 hours play time within the first 24 hours of owning it XD

I fell behind because I had to write a ton of essays for the end of term, though, so I haven't completed the game yet. My housemate beat Red about four days ago O.o

Aww, I love naming stuff, and the fact newer games, with all their fancy voice acting, don't let me name stuff anymore makes me so sad ):
My friend and I once played through an entire FFVII game with Aries named "crap", just so, at the very end, when Holy comes, Marlene would say "Holy... crap." XD
Also fun - naming Aeris "me". It makes Cloud say the funniest things. Like yelling at Sephiroth "You killed me!".
...or perhaps I'm just way too easily amused XD

I try and avoid getting games online - I either have to get them the day the come out, in which case I don't want to have to wait for shipping and such, or I wait till they're pre-owned and normally trade something in for them. Plus, it means I'm not risking getting something that was made in Taiwan and will constantly just erase itself.

Hahaha, those Yahoo!Answers thingies were so great XD Link me to any others you do!
Dear self: it helps if you actually link to the pictures you talk about.

    (it's late :p)
Haha, okay, that makes sense XD

You know, I never actually played Sonic Adventure. I loved Sonic Adventure 2 to bits (basically, I loved the Sonic levels, the music and looking after Chaos), but never played the first one. Is it good?
I haven't played a Sonic game in ages, thinking about it. I got Sonic Rush for the DS, and that was fun, but I can complete is easily now, and I got Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Wii and thought it was absolutely terrible ):

YES, Nikolai looks JUST like Kratos, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so!
Also, I found this so funny I took a picture of it. Almost as geeky as the humour in PW, amirite?

Haha, I think *actual* cosplays would be a little, uh, cumbersome for everyday wear, you have a point, but I still think people should dress weirdly. I wore a rabbit-skull hat to the shops yesterday and had a couple of people say they liked it XD

I look forward to TWEWY and AII, though I'm determined to finish SS first (how many game acronyms can I fit in one sentence?). I just beat Misty, so I'm getting there X3
You're also not the first to tell me the final case of AAI is absolutely amazing, so I have high hopes for it~ :D

Mostly I hated III because it was so damn difficult. I like my games to be challenging, but III was just silly :/ Your FFI team names are adorable; I love naming my teams in stuff after characters from other fandoms; I've had so much fun with my Disgaea teams over the years XD
    I feel your pain on the sleeping thing. I lways say to myself that I'm going to wake up early so I can do everything I want to that day but it rarely ever works. It bugs me to no end. -__-;;;;
BUT THEY ARE~ Gaaaah they're just soooo.... It's hard to explain. I really enjoy listening to them though! And now my English accent is starting blend with his British and vice versa and it's really weird, but I like it anyways. X333

Nnnnn, you shouldn't be a lazy person. Lazy people are wasteful in my eyes, wasting time that could be spent working and often times having me waste my breath when I try to get them into a motivated working mood. Bleh, school is full of lazy idiots and lazy geniuses. They are no better than each other.. :<
OH YEAH. Did I mention that Danny has a British accent? Because he does and it's adorable~ He acts a lot like you too, really silly. :D

You've shirked your work? Bad Mikeh, you have to put in the effort! RESIST THE PROCRASTINATION TEMPTATION. D:
Actually.. Now that it's spring he would just have glasses...
Speaking of which, I have glasses now! I love them and how they make me seem smart to other people. I mean, I know I'm not, but it still feels good. X3
HOW IS THOU, MIKE OF FOXHOGGEDNESS?
    Ack, another?
YES. So I have been ridiculously busy with school. I havn't had a free lunch since I got out of the hospital and probably won't for the rest of the school year because I'm volutarily being lectured on what I missed by my teachers. Lots and lots of studying and big projects because of the approaching CRTs. I've made some real life friends as well, and I love them so. That cat in my avie? Danny. He's like a brother to me. :3
