Yes, I'm totally with you on the greatness of "ladders=/=stepladders", though my favourite geeky moment is either "No, Maya - this is SPARDA" or "Well excuuuuuseme, princess!". Or "In west Clowndelphia I was born and raised" but that's less geeky and more just plain awesome. Guh, I could go on <3
Russian hats! Are great. I want one. My dad has a hat he likes to pretend is Russian, and I want to steal the little communist pin he put on it X3 It would go with my communist earring! :D
Russian Janitor YESSSS.
I got SS on the release date, too; my housemate and I got up early (well, before midday, which is early for me) and practically ran to Gamestation and got our games along with the figurines because we were so cool we pre-ordered them and then spent the entire day playing them. I had something like 17 hours play time within the first 24 hours of owning it XD
I fell behind because I had to write a ton of essays for the end of term, though, so I haven't completed the game yet. My housemate beat Red about four days ago O.o
Aww, I love naming stuff, and the fact newer games, with all their fancy voice acting, don't let me name stuff anymore makes me so sad ):
My friend and I once played through an entire FFVII game with Aries named "crap", just so, at the very end, when Holy comes, Marlene would say "Holy... crap." XD
Also fun - naming Aeris "me". It makes Cloud say the funniest things. Like yelling at Sephiroth "You killed me!".
...or perhaps I'm just way too easily amused XD
I try and avoid getting games online - I either have to get them the day the come out, in which case I don't want to have to wait for shipping and such, or I wait till they're pre-owned and normally trade something in for them. Plus, it means I'm not risking getting something that was made in Taiwan and will constantly just erase itself.
Hahaha, those Yahoo!Answers thingies were so great XD Link me to any others you do!
