• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Also, you never answered me, Foxhog: how would I balance it if he were to have both Poison Point and Poison Touch? In your capacity as body-mod-approver, not as silly-random-person.
It is not literally Poison Point
It is simply that he has an effect that is similar to it
And since we can't give them new abilities Poison Point is the next best thing

...Though how do you think I could balance it if I were to make it, in effect, both Poison Point and Poison Touch? As in contact moves made on him or by him had a chance to poison? How would I go about balancing that?
Well, I guess it does seem like a semi-logical basis for change. Makes sense people'd use it.

No but it's the most fitting ability
    Overdone?

I know it's not pointy but Poison Touch doesn't serve quite the same function. It wouldn't be literally Poison Point, though; I would phrase it something like "its poison is so potent that touching it has a chance to poison the opponent, effectively giving it the Poison Point ability."
I'm thinking that because it had quite a few Poison-types (Grimer, Muk, Koffing, Weezing, Gulpin, Swalot) back in its lineage, it's become a Poison-type. So it's lost its Fire moves and gained equivalent Poison ones, lost Flame Body for Poison Point (or is there a more appropriate one? IDK). Sound good? Anything I missed?
I had thought it was ironic, yeah.

    Well, is it a lot?

Also, how does a signature attribute for a Slugma sound that would make it a poison-type?
I really hope that's meant to be ironic humor.

    Ah, okay.

:D Now we just wait for you to have a battle slot free. Any clue how long that'll be?
    I'm a very non-racist person.

Watch what? There's no link, and the image is no help.

Also, here's the arena so far. Seem good?

    1vs1 single
    Style: Set
    DQ: Standard week
    Damage Cap: 30%
    Banned Moves: Anything goes
    Arena: Golett Temple

So the bizarre ghostly powers of Meowth and Squorn's Golett have merged to collapse them back in time or into an alternate dimension or something. The details are NOT IMPORTANT kind of fuzzy. Basically we're in what seems to be some kind of temple or something. The arena is fairly small, just 20 feet square, and made of a pale brownish stone. The arena itself looks fairly boring at first glance, a simple square room with what appear to be seats carved into the walls for the trainers and referee, but if you look closely there are also Hebrew runes inscribed in the walls. According to the two Golett, they are casting several effects over the arena:

הגנה - The arena will repair itself if damaged by any means. Which is fortunate, since the stone looks fairly fragile and would shatter under a powerful blow.
נטרליות - All types of attacks are treated as neutrally effective, regardless of their usual effectiveness.
האנרגיה - Ghost- and Ground-type moves take 2% energy to use.

Other: Only Golett may be used; they are treated as neutrally affected by all moves as opposed to normal type-effectiveness. Ghost- and Ground- type moves take 2% energy less to perform after all calculations.
The tubes would have to go all the way up to SPACE and back. Then somebody would try to climb them. And then this somebody would end up in orbit.

Well, SBaHJ and Pikny and The Brain feature similar duos. What with having one straight person and one sillier person.
