Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • I suppose we do, but I'm not sure everybody has a battle spot available.

And speaking of those, I'd rather wait for mine to be a little less clogged up, too, so, I've a mind to save that nidoroyalty battle for later.
Could Enver use Fake Out at the moment to completely prevent Button from acting? Or at least completely prevent her from using Rest/Pain Split/Stockpile?
Even if the point isn't "pull out the continent from under their feet"/"flood the earth beneath them"/"wreak unimaginable havoc upon an entire city", my main problem with them is that they can do that in the first place. And if they can't, they're not really legendaries anymore; the very point of them is that they're special and ridiculously overpowered when you put them into a story. (And I disagree on the "non-battling commands become pointless after a time" thing, but that doesn't really matter. I assume that you mean the commands like using lotad as a shield? Personally I think that's clever and interesting rather than pointless/only fun once/whatever it is that you seem to think about it. Although I suppose my general battling habits might already indicate that fairly strongly...?)

I just find it a whole lot easier to give myself a plan for the next round when I attack last; then I still have to hammer out loopholes but it seems simpler when I plan it all out in advance. It also lets me figure out whether exploiting something now leads to a better thing, or whether it will just cause problems later on. At some point you just can't keep from putting in some loopholes, you know; this probably sounds like an impatience thing but my goal has pretty much been "minimize loopholes" rather than eliminate them altogether. Sure, that's preferable, but it's also pretty much impossible. Now, if I found someone to paste four conditionals onto... (This also was what lead me to post commands just a few hours after the reffing was posted, but really not much other than a protect could stop that psychic. That would, however, come with its own host of problems.)

You're just intimidating as a person! Probably not the best answer, but.
The only problem with normalize is rock/steel, really; I suppose by that I mean your aggron. Honestly I'm more worried about types resisting normal than a ghost type; all I need to do is statboost incessantly and then foresight for massive damage.

Because legendaries are gods! And if you have Dialga why not just stop time and make your opponent not exist or better yet make your trainer not exist. If you have Groudon you can create continents how is this not bad.

Honestly, if you're going to attempt my pokemon's wings off I'd expect you to have a plan for whether or not it works. :/ I'm not sure what else to say but.
Out of all the ridiculous signature possibilities I have, I fully intend not to signature mine. A bit more... interesting that way, I suppose. :D Maybe I could use your business to get bestow for ring target, buuut. Paraphrasing what you said, less brave! Or, more accurately, less stubborn. Also does having normalize mean a moon stone/silk scarf/whatever boosts everything because if so just yes. (That was one of my main reasons for normalize but I didn't care to think things through too much other than that. Challenges are fun.)

This is why I have to enter every event ever to subvert Negrek's evil plans. >( But really, I suppose that does make it inevitable; still, though, I might as well try. And if I end up getting an opportunity for a legend, then I'd rather hold off from that until I know whether they can just not exist before jumping on Deoxys' delicious movepool. (Rayquaza is beautiful, but without as many shiny movepool things.)

... I think my team may actually end up qualifying for large and unwieldy eventually! I'm mostly on a quest for firsts right now--if you do end up using your skitty don't do it before my battle with Omskivar gets set up thanks--but I'm still planning to just battle. Mostly.

Yeah... Well, I suppose I can't grudge you the time to think about things. I won't call for a DQ the moment a month passes by and I'm still having fun with it, but I'm not exactly feeling like "take your time :D!" right now. I've been in similar situations before; it's okay.
Omskivar's item that buzzes totally should've been a silverpowder, probably made of the digested remains of whatever other bugs Giratina managed to swallow on the way up.

... That was one of my main guesses as to what it could be.

Also merry Christmas/happy holidays/etc., and thanks for getting me Elise! Maybe once she evolves she can have another "let's put her in the most awkward position possible" battle with your new Giratina, assuming your team wins the Battle for Asber. Of course, if all goes well the closest you'll be getting is to Giratina is Uguutina and your arcanine.

Eating people will have to be in the “banned moves” section before I agree to anything, though.

oh god please don’t kill meee D:
I don't mind future waits. I saw it ages ago, but then I started procrastinating on commands because Mawile has like three healing moves and that'll be tricky.

Yeah, good idea; I guess I'll go do that...
The one where Enver has fun punching out teeth? That's the last one I saw, and it says I'm supposed to post first this round, which is what I was talking about. I'm going to post commands and then I'm willing to wait however long it takes for the next round rather than getting an e-ref.

And yeah, I was going to ask what to do about that one next. Last I checked, Lucas hadn't been on in months...
So about my battle with ultraviolet (which I'm finally thinking about commands for), I'd rather let it lie dormant for however long it takes you to feel up to reffing again than get an e-ref. Your reffings are awesome. I totally would've voted for you for best ref if I hadn't been busy voting for myself.

Anyway, is that okay, or would you rather we get an e-ref? (I haven't actually asked uv what she'd like to do, though, come to think of it. I should. Do that.)
Yeah, probably where we can't see. The only thing she really does for us is answer questions.

Sure, first-gen psychics have the ridiculous movepools, but they don't have the physical stature! Alakazam can't plow through a mountain without a second thought using only its claws, can it?
You said you wanted to know when the results of that Pokémon POV writing contest were posted, right?
They would've been digested if it weren't for the magic of Pokeballs. And... well actually I like watching Animal Planet. It's the only thing I do watch. Hmm. Suddenly it doesn't seem so bad, you're right.

I'm fearing Force Majeure, mainly. Double weaknesses suck but rock types are scary. Especially when they are huge and can tear mountains down.
Using it twice is bad enough. Poor Ditto and Vespiquen, getting slowly digested... you're a monster. ):

Well, I have nothing to resist rock except iirc three piddly non-evolved Pokemon, and nearly half my entire active squad is weak to it! Granted I may have some Pokemon that can hit rock-types for SE damage, but for some reason I never have Pokemon that resist it. ): It happens every game I play.
    Mostly because you ate Pokemon.

Also because I have a glaringly huge rock weakness and a ground Pokemon would help to alleviate that somewhat.
Negrek did make a lot of mistakes - she said so herself. Plus there was that one instance of parahax; if that didn't show up then her Absol would've avoided a lot of damage and she probably would've won. Not to mention I used two fully-evolved Pokemon while iirc you didn't use any.
They are offering me stuff because you are a scary person! Higher-EXP Pokemon help, but it's skill that accounts for the most stuff.

Also because you ate Pokemon, you horrible horrible monster.
