Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • You aren't even my age yet. :P

... ah, do you have to take it in Toronto or something? o.o

Alright, well let me know when you find out! Also wait, you know my home phone?
Oh snap. I used to have an average like that but it slipped in grade 12. Perfect timing, huh?

Something like that, I suppose. But other than going to Toronto to meet up with me, what else would you do? o.o 'Cuz I'd feel bad if you spent that much time/money just to meet up with me, haha.

I will. OTL Why did I choose summer?
Yeah, true. What's your average again? Mine dropped like four percent this year (great time to drop, huh?) but I still got in. Different program and all, of course, but still.

but but but Asian pride also involves money

Nooo you had my hopes up ): Oh well, maybe we can find some other time.
Probably not during summer, though; I'm going to Hong Kong pretty much the entirety of summer.
Well, you kinda need the offers first in order to decide. :P I'm guessing UofT is your last choice?

    but but but saves money

Oh! Maybe you'll see my friends again (and they'll fail to deliver a hello again). Anyway, when're you free on the weekend? My Saturdays are usually busy, although I don't have violin next week and I could cancel drawing if I so choose, if Sundays aren't good for you.
Oh, what's your first choice, then?

Ah, makes sense. :P Sucks to have your profession/course/whatever misunderstood so much.

In that case, may as well apply to some tiny little college and get a full scholarship there, or something.... Just go to whichever you feel is best for you! I mean, my mom wants me to go someplace farther so I can "learn to be independent" but nope, going to U of T and leeching off my parents for another few years.
:D Congrats! Going back to Vancouver, eh?

Which program, btw? I can guess it's something related to meteorology but what's the program itself called?
I haven't taken anything online at all... general laziness and all, you know.

Thing is, all the other unis I applied to aren't close to home ;~; And then I'd have to live /by myself/ and I'd probably fall over and die on the second week. I have like zero life skills so I probably ultimately won't live a happy life :P
Ah, yeah, that's not good. Moving out sounds nice in that situation.

My art teacher said she'd trust me to do brain surgery, because I have steady hands! Well, what she doesn't know won't hurt her.
Ah, I had a chem test today. Am unsure how I did because blehhh really not confident with chem since I blanked out on two separate quizzes...

That sounds like researching about art and that sounds boring because for me, art is about ~FEELING~
Actually, that died with my childhood, or something like that. And we only have the three major sciences in my school, as far as I'm aware.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I don't really know much about uni resources, except UofT is good for life sci, so it's good I got in or I'd have no idea what I'd do OTL
Ah, I see. We just kinda keep to ourselves at home so I don't see my parents and me driving each other crazy.

Ahh. I think we're leaving organic chemistry near the end - our teacher ran through the outline when the semester began, but predictably, I don't really remember what she said.
It should, I think? o.o Why do you ask?

Exactly why I want to go for research! Meanwhile, cutting excessively if you work as a vet is bad.
I love biology! It's the science I'm best at. I'm alright at chem, and downright terrible at physics.

Haha, well I'm going to Hong Kong in the summer... that's gonna be even worse. Last year it was almost summer-like during this time. I remember it precisely because it was cold in Vancouver and I was wailing about missing the warm weather, and today I heard it's warm in Vancouver and I'm wailing about the cold weather here.
Ahh. Guessing UofT is your last choice, then.
A lot of my friends say that, yeah. I guess I'm lucky that I like my parents :D Plus my dad is a big baby and he'll cry if I move out.

We didn't even start organic chemistry yet LOL I guess we're going in a different order.

Something to do with animals. Probably research, because if I become a vet, I'd probably be tempted to cut up more than I should...
Anything that begins with meth is good! Reminds me of a mnemonic my classmates came up with for the eight essential amino acids: I like liking meth prior to taking valium. Isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine! I think that was it, at least, was a few months ago.

Ah, pity... it'd be fun to see you thrash around as you melt. Anyway, I thought you said you might apply to UofT as well? I just applied to stuff near home because I want to stay at home and continue leeching off my parents.

I dunno how credible a source my chem teacher is, but according to her, yeah.
Uh, we just finished the unit with VSPER theory and metallic bonds and whatnot, about to start thermodynamics.

Yeah, UofT life sci was my first choice (:
I dunno, it rhymed and seers are psychic, I guess? :P just pretend it made sense

I am deeply happy that someone remembered my smores opinion.
    There once was a once-ASBer
who revealed my past like a seer
    He quoted some non-prose
I had forgotten when dawn rose
The day after writing, I fear.
    ... ha
Thanks for the info, I'll go off in a corner with my paints now...

And you're still alive, aren't you? Up for going to the zoo again this summer? :D? I'll pick the hottest day!

Condolences offered. My chem teacher says MIT hates Canadians, and apparently last year they only accepted one, so... Don't feel too bad!

I got a letter, and accepted my offer on OUAC. Feh, courses and marks and administrative stuff screwing up always sucks. Where else did you apply to?

    Life sci.
I generally don't ask about acceptances and stuff, but from what I heard he didn't get in. Did you get any offers from other places you applied to?

I got into UofT, by the way, and as long as I can keep my calculus mark up I'll be going there.
I'm honestly not sure what further math is, but with Calc AB being limits, derivatives and integrals, I assume calc BC is vector calculus, and calc III is actually called Differential Equations. So I guess further math is linear algebra. Which sounds a lot more simple than it probably is.

Jeez, how much summer school can you do in one summer? In my district you can only take one actual summer course, and even then the only ones offered are Geometry, Algebra II and Pre-Calculus, and also Healthful Living. I mean, I know people can do online courses, but it seems like too much effort to do that /and/ summer school.
