    Yeah, STAB plus Iron Fist plus +5 attack meant that each Drain Punch was doing a whopping 19% each. Even more than Draco Meteor, but Draco Meteor is so much more fun to describe!

    Crap, I forgot about the special attack reduction. As for Pancham's health, Facade did 14% and Draco Meteor did 16%, but Pancham healed 17% from Drain Punch, so the final health figure is correct.

    Yes to the first two. As for #3, I guess gender should remain constant, even when it technically can't. You could always just consider anything you roll that contradicts the Pokémon's inherent gender to be invalid and re-roll it, if you prefer.

    god I bet there's a whole fricking mess of problems with this arena that haven't even occurred to me :v

    According to your calculations, Coulomb's second Echoed Voice did the same amount of damage as his first one, so am I missing something?

    Hey, though I'm not a participant, I think you forgot to double Echoed Voice's base damage from multiple uses in the latest round of Zekrom_B0lt vs TruetoCheese? I've been really enjoying your reffings so far regardless.

    Hmm, if it was an old ruling I'd be inclined to overturn it, but I'd like a look-see regardless if you can find it. c: Unless the battlers are very inclined to get a correction, though, I think this can slide; just keep it in mind for next time?

    Hey, sorry to jump in, but I'm pretty sure substitutes do take on the defensive stat changes of the maker. At least, that's how it is in the games, and I don't see why that would change in ASB.

    Hey, since social groups don't give good notications: we've started talking about ASB stuff a lot again! It'd be great if you could just appear and chime in a bit, just so you aren't surprised if anything happens.

    I don't know if bluzzy has told you already, but for various reasons (now, it's mostly because tcod has stability issues), we've done (and will be doing) most of our discussion elsewhere. for now, I think I have it set up that you'll be automatically given the correct permissions if you register. (our security settings are generally kind of paranoid, but, you see, we used those forums for the battle for asber, and, uh, never saw the need to change them, I guess.) for now, the relevant forums are a bit empty, because the relevant thread got clogged up with, um, other plotting (we're not very good at staying on topic), but we'll deal with that. eventually. probably.

    Oh yeah, Focus Energy doesn't fade in ASB, does it? o.o Actually, Pressure is a great ability and I'm pretty torn between the two... except that I already have a Super Luck Absol, so oh well. Actually, it specifically says in the rules that those kind of stories won't be accepted because they're too cliché and not-very-well-supported, so. :P And I'd be interested in hearing more about your idea, if you ever think of the details!

    Exactly! I mean, I don't think it has Encore. It needs Encore. Crit moves are just horrendously fun to abuse, but it's too bad that in this ASB it only adds 7% ): Oh well, it'd be pretty broken otherwise. Anyway, a lot of signature moves/attributes are due to some sort of weird birth thingy. My Absol got a curse cast on him. You don't necessarily have to be /creative/; as long as you stay away from ~legends~ or ~team ___ experiment~ you're usually fine.

    ... okay, that just totally flew over my head OTL I'll just step back and say I agree.
