"Welcome to Lusin Village everyone! Welcome to the Serennial Festival!"

A blond woman standing on the brick-paved path in front of the newcomers, in a traditional-looking white and silver dress with gold trim, would begin to wave the crowd in. People who have been to this festival before might notice that this woman was new to the job.

The town behind her was a small thing, mostly small cottages surrounded by prairie, what you might expect of an old frontier town. A distance away, juuuust within visibility, was a sea, with the mountains of Arsiens Island barely visible beyond it. The atmosphere here was just so that you might believe that it really was an old-timey village... if not for the transformer box next to the village gates.

She began to walk forward, but was halted as she felt someone... latch onto her. Peering down, she saw a girl no older than seventeen with arms wrapped tightly round her waist.

"Momma!"

"Angel! I knew you'd make it!" the woman pulled her into a tight hug. "We've packed all your things, they're in the new house up in Lunar Gate City, I'll take you there after the festival. So sorry we had to leave so abruptly like that and not tell you..."

"I'm just glad you're okay!"

"Yes dear, I'm fine-" A white-haired man tapped the woman on the shoulder.

"Lucidia. The moon is rising, time for the festival to begin." He walked away after that.

This 'Lucidia' Petted her daughter's hair. "Time for me to go open the festivities. It's my first time doing this..." Angel let go of her, and followed her as she sauntered off.

The small and round young man walked in between both of his parents, holding each of their hands. Usually boys his age would be embarrassed if they did that with their parents. Maxwell didn't quite understand boys his age, and he was lucky that he was able to do this with both of his parents at the same time. Usually his father would be off at a meeting, and his mother busy at the library, and Maxwell would just sit in the big backyard outside of the mansion and play with the small wild Pokemon that lived in their orchard.

"Well, won't this be a lovely time! The first time we've gone on vacation together in a while," the tall blond man next to Maxwell said. Maxwell blinked at his father, who was as odd-looking as he was. Mr. Eustace Malcolm Hammond was short, shorter than his wife, and had the same oval face as Maxwell. Set in his face were two emerald eyes that had dark bags under them, and his teeth bucked out a bit. Sometimes Maxwell couldn't understand how his mother ended up with him. Speaking of his mother, Mrs. Cassandra Lily Pevensie-Hammond was a beautiful young lady. She was in her early thirties, and was around 5'6". She had long dirty-blonde hair, and beautiful hazel-brown eyes. If Maxwell had not have shaved his head, he would have the perfect combination of his father's red hair and his mother's blonde.

"Dad, last time we went on vacation was last year for my birthday. That wasn't that long ago."

"Ah, but it seemed like too long for me, my boy. You know how much I love it when I spend quality time with my family!" The father let go of his son's hand just to lean down and hug him tightly, before grabbing it again and standing up straight.

"Look, that must be the greeter," Mrs. Hammond said, pointing to the blonde woman standing on the path they were walking on. She was pretty, almost as pretty as Maxwell's mother, Maxwell thought to himself. As he watched her, he saw a white-blonde girl seemingly tackle the woman, hanging onto her. He could very faintly make out that she had called her 'momma'. Another blond appeared, this time a man, and led the two girls away, as well as a curly-haired girl that had followed the pair. As Maxwell watched them, entranced, his father snapped his fingers in front of the boy's face.

"Earth to Maxwell? Hurry up, we're next in line. Let's go in and have some fun, shall we?" His father had a cheesy buck-toothed grin, and with that, the Hammond family entered the festival grounds.

Tokine walks forward to the front. Normally, she would stay behind. She is somewhat shy. She looks to her left. There was a little boy with his two parents. She looked at the boy weirdly. Tokine shakes her head. Everywhere she looked, It was boring. She just wanted some fun, and this? This was not what she wanted.

Immedietly, she stops thinking negativlly. This was supposed to be fun for her. Here she was, making the worst of things yet again. She looks at the tour guide and her daughter. Her daughter was almost the same age as Tokine.

Tokine found something intriguing to her. Why would a festival have just something you'd find in the older time? There should be SOMETHING new. While getting bored at this...this tour..she thinks of the myth about a place...a place called The Other....

Shaking her head yet again, she listens to the tour guide again. This was boring, but Tokine couldn't do anything about it. She'd rather go back to her job at the Pokemart. Unfortunatly, it's closed today. Tokine puts her hand on her face, and then immedietly takes it back. Her head felt....cold! Why was that? She wasn't the one to think much about something, so she went right along with what she was doing, which was being bored.

Constance was usually early, but this time, she had been a little late. It seemed that there was no time that, when she was traveling, she didn't run into trouble. This time, her Nidorino, Kaiju, had gotten into a bit of a fight with someone else's Pokemon. It was really dangerous to grab him because of his spikes, but she managed to get him out of the battle. He could be so troublesome and hot-headed sometimes... With that annoyed thought in mind, the long-haired teenager began to make her way down the path that led to the place where the festival was supposed to be, with her Pokemon in tow. The Poison-type usually didn't battle, but he had probably just had a burst of energy or something; now Kaiju was following at Constance's side amiably, dodging her feet as he occasionally ran in between them. Whenever he did, Constance would almost trip, and she repeatedly told the Nidorino to calm down, her brown eyes focused on her friend's.

However, Constance realized just in time that she was about to run into someone, and looked up to see that she had almost walked straight into a group of three people. Quickly, Constance told them, "Sorry!" and with a wave, walked quickly walked around them. Thankfully her Nidorino followed obediently, his ears swiveling around to the other people for a moment before they went back to his Trainer. Kaiju let out an excited cry as he noticed that there were more people up ahead. He could faintly hear their talking, but... he didn't have any way of communicating their speech to Constance, so he ran ahead suddenly, hoping she would follow.

"Kaiju!" the teenager called, running up to her Pokemon. She quickly caught up to him, being athletic and having longer legs than her Pokemon, and stopped where he did. The Poison-type was gazing at the two people ahead of him, one of whom was talking about the festival or something. Constance also looked up at the person who was talking about the festival. She was wearing some silver-and-gold-looking dress, which seemed to fit the occasion yet also looked over-the-top to Constance. She didn't say anything, though; she was too excited about what she might see and do at the festival.

Of course, the suspense that Constance had felt all the way here had been somewhat ruined. All she saw was a small village with a gate at the front. Presumably they would go in? There was that large electric-looking box -- a transformer box -- right outside the gates, but that was all that looked modern or even remotely festival-like. And the transformer box didn't even look like a festival object, except maybe if the people in the village were going to do some huge light show. But nothing really looked like a "festival" around here. Constance could only stare through the gates at the town, a slightly surprised expression on her face. This was definitely not what she had expected.

This place was definitely somewhere rural. Honestly, Uisce hadn't been here before, but he liked the feel of there being no skyscrapers and minimal smog. He turned his head to glance about, scanning the crowd and the grassy area around them. Naturally, there was nobody he recognized. If there was, he would be rather unnerved. He didn't know that many people, and the ones he knew were far away. After all, he had left his home to come here. It might seem like a dismal concept, but he wasn't at home much these days. He spent most of his time exploring and observing things. He wasn't at home all that much, since he was traveling around a lot. That included the trip to this festival.

Not much of a festival, though, was it? There were a lot of people, but nobody was inside what appeared to be the grounds yet. It would open soon, and at that time Uisce would walk around, pick up any souvenirs he might want. The festival was here for a while, too, so if there was something extra he wanted to do he'd have plenty of time to do it. He didn't have much of a preference for activities, though, so long as it didn't involve talking to a whole bunch of people or doing something spontaneous like making money doing silly dances.

As he stood here, Uisce said nothing and spoke to no one. But his mind was working. What sort of things could he do at this festival? Hopefully there wouldn't be a bunch of creepy goons walking around. He might seem strong and silent on the outside, but there were some things that bothered Uisce. Like creepy goons.

Tokine looks at her Pokeball-Her only Pokeball. She hoped her young Artemis would give some excitement. She sends out her Pokemon. A Pokemon that's bright orange and Chicken-looking that comes out in front of Tokine. Tokine's Torchic, Artemis, seems eager for the tour. How ironic. Tokine whispers quietly so that she disrupt others to Artemis and says, "Artemis, Let's make some excitement here." Artemis has an devil-ish look on her face. Realizing what might happen, Tokine tells Artemis, "But not with fire! BUT NOT WITH FIRE!" Tokine looks up. All eyes were on her, even the tour guide's. Tokine smiles an embarressed smile. "Sorry...sorry"

Tokine leans over to Artemis a third time and whispers "Do not use fire."
Tokine realizes she was in front, and, to prevent more attention to herself, she backs down to the back accidentlly bmping into a near by trainer, named Constance. "Oh, so sorry! But hi!", Tokine says to the trainer. Tokine backs down to the back, hoping to not get even more attention. Yawning with boredom, she looks to the ground. Artemis was gone. Artemis must have stayed in the front. Tokine goes back to the front, and picks up her fire type Pokemon.

Artemis was frightened at Tokine's sudden action. Artemis used flamethrower at Tokine, leaving her scorched. Once again, all eyes were on here. Tokine had enough. She goes once again to the back.

The red-haired boy adjusted his tie as he walked through the gate.

"Amazing." Steven said, "Really has the feel."

His eyes fell upon the transformer box.

"Well....it's close enough." he half-muttered, half-snickered, "But...where's the festival?"

He saw a teenage girl hugging an older lady.

"They have a resemblance. Must be related." he mused.

He saw them start walking away.

Maybe if I follow them, I'll find the festival

His thoughts filled with ideas of the festival. Would there be a Goldeen stand? Stupid carnival games where the prizes are rubber hammers? Stands filled with oriental designs and old treasures?

He would have to wait to find out.

As the guide Lucidia led them further into the village, the signs of festival grew more and more apparent. Angel herself even looked uncomfortable being here... at least those teeny towns on Tokero had internet cafes.

"Mom, are you sure about thi-"

"Hush now dear, we're nearly there."

Indeed, the scent of food hung around in the air nearby, as the facades of local restaurants and businesses were all done up in silver and lavender decor. Stands run by residents lined the streets, filled with games, souvenirs and even more food, and in the town square was a large bonfire being tended to by the local fire department. This part of town did look quite a bit more modern than the outskirts, with the streetlights and shops done up all over.

"...Now this is more like- oh, no, it's okay." Angel smiled at the girl who had run into her, pulling the strap of her bag up so it wasn't hanging so low. She stuck close to her mother as she guided the group to the center square.

"The main event starts when the moon is high, so go on and enjoy yourselves until then~"

Angel gave her mother another hug, then started off toward one of the food stands. One person in particular caught her eye... a bearded man in the front of one of the lines, with sunglasses and cargo shorts, and what looked to be a band T-shirt with the name "Dunkelheit" in the corner.

All Tokine could do was gaze in Awe...This was much better. Tokine's stomach instantly growled. She didn't realize she was hungry. Tokine went to the nearest restraunt with Artemis by her side. This restraunt had the finest foods you could eat! At the back was a game machiene that said " Capture the Bellsprout". That seems interesting. Tokine rushed over there, while Artemis was walking behind her.

This game was too addictive to get away from. Even though it was only capturing Bellsprout, she could help but stay on there. However, she couldn't help but have the strangest sense of Deja Vu', like at one point, she was actually capturing bellsprout.. Finally, after Artemis trudged on Tokine's pantlegs, Tokine got off of there. Yet again, her stomach growled. She forgot to eat! Artemis sat on a table closest to the window. When the waitress came, Tokine said,"I'd like Caviar and a Lobster please!"

"Sure thing sweetie! I'll be right back. Oh, and we have a policy where you have to pay first. That'll be $10. Yes, since we have so little people here, we had to lower the price of our food.", the nice waitress said. Tokine gladly paid $10, since she just got her paycheck. After 10 minutes, the waitress brought Tokine her Lobstar and caviar.
Tokine started to eat the caviar, but she then looked at Artemis. Artemis probably thought the food was for Tokine. "Artemis. Don't be scared. Dig in!" Artemis smiled as quick as the frown ended.

After they ate their food, Tokine walked out and saw a few people at the bonfire. The bonfire had such magnificent flames sparkling in the night sky. Artemis walked over there, since she, being a fire type, loved fire. Tokine knew she couldn't stop Artemis, so she too went to the bonfire. She couldn't believe how many people would actually be at a bonfire. Then again, bonfires are awesome.

Maxwell took a glance at a girl with a huge forehead, who shot him a disapproving look. He pouted his lip a bit. He wanted to have some fun, not be rejected already by strangers who didn't even know him. He held onto his parents even tighter than usual. As he looked around, he saw even more people. There was a girl chasing after a Nidorino, a boy who was just standing there with dark silvery hair, a redheaded boy with a tie, and other strangers.

The girl that he had noticed giving him a dirty look before was now yelling at her Charmander, only to be scorched by the Fire-type a second later. He had to giggle a little bit to himself, before having his mother elbow him.

"That's not very gentleman-like, Maxwell. Her Pokemon's probably just very, er, not tame. Look, now she's hiding behind everyone else. Go up and ask her if she's okay," Mrs. Hammond scolded her only child, and when Maxwell looked up at his father, all he did was nod and point towards the girl with his free hand. Maxwell sighed, then let go of his parents' hands and headed off towards the girl, his mother and father keeping an eye on him just in case.

When Maxwell had finally reached the girl, who had moved to a restaurant and was playing some arcade game, he had noticed that she was quite pretty, even with her large head. She had really pale skin, like she didn't really get out very often.

"Are you okay?" Maxwell tilted his own oval-shaped head to the side, voice quiet as he was curious about her, yet very shy.

Drew followed the crowd into the village non-nonchalantly, whistling some song he had heard on the radio a few days before. He was out of tune, but what did it matter. As he walked past the small buildings he gripped his camera. He had been thankful to the point of embarrassment that his parents had scraped together the money to buy him the camera. He saw the large bonfire before him and quickly brought the camera up to his eye. Relatively untrained, having almost never used a camera before, he took a blurry shot of the flames.

He checked the device to see what the final product had been.

"Wonderful," he muttered to himself in a sarcastic tone, "Absolutely wonderful."

Looking around he saw a small cafe that caught his fancy. Taking two more quick snapshots of the surrounding attractions he made his way over, looking for some food to much on before the festival really started. He passed a few interesting characters, mainly a boy flanked by his parents with a shaved head, and a girl with dark-brown hair muttering to herself in a jubilant way. As much as he hated to admit it, he was not exactly comfortable. Especially without his sister.

"Hi..err..sorry for giving you a rude look. I don't know any one on this festival." It felt weird for Tokine to be talking to a 10 year old, when she was 16."Have you met my Charmander?" Tokine asks the boy. Even though she was shy, she wanted to make some friends...even a 4th grader...

"Sorry, but I need to go to the bonfire now. I'll see you later.....what's your name?" She felt even more embaressed at making a conversation with someone without asking them their name.

Steven perused the stands.

"....Ramen....curry....sushi...." he mumbled, "....Maybe later."

He noticed a girl muttering to herself, happily.

He tapped her nervously on the shoulder.

"Um...you okay?" he said, "I saw you talking to yourself...so...."

He bit his lip.

"If you're okay, I'll just go." he said.

Looked like things were moving now. Good - Uisce hadn't had to stand still for long. So the festival was going to start now; that is, if it hadn't started already. Everyone here was simply being escorted inside. And that included the masked one. After a quick adjustment of his mask with one hand, he began moving with the crowd, watching his surroundings carefully. Slowly the rural-looking landscape turned into something that could more adequately be called a festival. The smell of smoke drifted near, and Uisce quickly looked in the direction from which it wafted; the source was a bonfire. Something about that bonfire made him uncomfortable. If he felt its heat, he was sure that it could possibly leap out with its flames and catch something on fire, even with the department monitoring it. Better pay attention to where he was walking. (It might also be better to pay attention to some other landmark at the moment.)

He glanced around some more. Now he could finally split off from the group and look around himself. He didn't like the concept of being squished between so many people. Hopefully the whole thing wasn't a huge crowd packed into narrow streets, or Uisce wouldn't have as much of a good time as he had expected. It looked like the pathways were relatively open, though. At least he could walk.

So the main event occurred when the moon was high, huh? That meant it was around midnight, possibly a little later. Good thing Uisce had gotten a lot of sleep before coming here (he had anticipated that he would stay up late at some point), because he wouldn't want to miss the big attraction that made up the festival. Otherwise there was no point in bringing his mask. He felt more secure behind this mask, too - it made him feel like less people would follow him around or know who he was. He preferred being anonymous on the streets with so many strangers around, especially at crazy places like this one.

Shops and stalls of all kinds lined the streets. Food, games, souvenirs, and a couple of miscellaneous stands displaying and selling who knows what. Uisce lifted his chin a little; he caught the faint scent of seafood coming from somewhere nearby, and it occurred to him that he hadn't had anything to eat in a while. Perhaps fish would be a satisfactory meal, then. But first, he should browse the stands a little.

He'd have to be discreet, though. No use acting like an interested maniac. Sure, everyone else was doing it, but Uisce's careful nature kept him at a distance from all the objects that were in the buildings and stands. He'd look at them, but if something was too off about them he'd pass them like any other person walking down the street.

As he headed toward the right side of this pathway, he noticed a girl scribbling some notes into a notebook while muttering about what sounded like a decent plot for a story. Uisce didn't pay attention to this girl; he only noticed her like he would notice the fiery-colored leaves on the trees in autumn. It did sound like it would make a good story, though.

He was being careful about not bumping into anybody too hard. Then he'd get noticed, and Uisce didn't like to stand out that much.

Tokine felt that it was too early for the main event, which was on around midnight. So she and Artemis started to look around some more. There were some stands with prizes, so Tokine started to look around. There was a stand that guess your weight. a sign says "If the carney writes your exact weight, then you pay him 50 dollars, if he doesn't you get 50 dollars". There was no scale or any measuring equipement, but Tokine just went past it, seeing as it was a trick. There were much more stands around, but the one most interesting was where you win a fish. "I've already got a fish...catfish to eat at home", Tokine says to herself, and she keeps on walking.

"Hey Artemis, what do you want to do?" Tokine asks her Torchic. Artemis looks around the place, eyeing fun places. "Tor Tor tor chic!(The bonfire please)", Artemis says, sort of. Artemis pointed one of her flightless wings to the bomfire. Tokine makes a facepalm.
Tokine couldn't help staring at the bonfire yet again. It's just a magnificent beauty that cannot be described in words. Tokine shakes her head so she isn't mesmerized."C'mon Artemis, let's go!" Tokine says firmly. "Tor!(Yeah!)", Artemis replies happily.

Tokine sits down at the bonfire. Looks like some other people were there. They were probably waiting for the big event when the moon is high. It wouldn't be long before that happens. "Artemis, why don't we train a bit?", Tokine suggests. Artemis must have been happy, for she opned her beak and a flamethrower went out...right at Tokine. That''s been the second time she was scorched. "Artemis......."Tokine says, and then she does a facepalm. Tokine forgot how hot her face was from the flames, and now her hand was on fire. Tokine tried to beat her hand on the ground to stop the fire. All Artemis could do was roll on the ground, laughing it up.

This time, Constance was sure to have her Nidorino stay right in front of her. She didn't let him get too far ahead or behind her; preferably he would stay right by her side. Thankfully, after walking behind the tour guide person and hearing her talk, he seemed to have gotten his initial excitement out, and stayed by Constance willingly. The teenager felt like she kind of... stood out, with her red shirt, in comparison to the silver-and-lavender colored buildings. She was only remotely listening to the tour guide person, but she did see many stalls, and even a bonfire. Perhaps she could get some food.

She and Kaiju continued down one side of the path. Thankfully it wasn't too crowded yet. As Constance walked, she looked for a good place to eat, and she also thought. She didn't really care what she ate at the moment, but she did want to see something to do with mythology. That was why she was here in the first place, wasn't it? Maybe all those legends and stuff would begin once the full moon had risen. It probably had more to do with the moon anyway. So what could she share with Kaiju? As Constance looked down at the Nidorino, she saw that he was still looking around, and didn't look particularly hungry. Hopefully he was flexible; Constance was planning on getting seafood or something. She saw a few other people sitting at seafood stalls as well. Though she didn't have seafood often, Constance really liked it. Then again, it wasn't strange that so many other people her liked it as well; they did live on a group of islands.

As Constance approached a sushi stall, she sat on a chair next to the wall with Kaiju sitting on the chair directly to her right. After ordering, Constance looked around outside a little. She could still see the light of the huge bonfire, along with a masked person walking by. She could hear talking, but it was incoherent from here, so she ordered it. Every now and then, Constance would glance at her Nidorino to make sure that he wasn't causing trouble, but thankfully he was sitting quietly, listening and smelling as their food was prepared.

The Nidorino seemed to perk up noticeably as he saw that one thing that Constance had ordered was one of his favorites -- Octillery on rice. Though it didn't have much taste, it had a rubbery texture, which was very strange, yet interesting to Kaiju. As Constance slid the tray between her and the Pokemon, Kaiju immediately leaned forward to take one piece of octopus straight off the rice. But Constance held out her hand, silently signaling for him to slow down. After a moment of holding her hand there, just to irritate them, she used both of her hands to separate the chopsticks as Kaiju chewed on the Octillery with a smile.

((I'm not sure what Nidorino actually eats, but I guess this is all right, since my pets in real life eat some strange foods too...))

Tokine felt the urge to sleep. Even though this festival was lively, she couldn't help but yawn. Right after she yawned, Artemis yawned as close to a yawn a Torchic can get to. Tokine knew she had to stay awake, for she wanted to see the big even when the moon was high. Tokine looked up. The moon was beautiful. She stood up and tried to walk over to it. Artemis saww the bonfire infront of Tokine, so Artemis tried to stop her from walking. "Tortorchic Torchic!Tor, tor torchic tor tor torchic!!(Tokine Solstice! Stop, your walking in the bonfire!!!)" Artemis yells. Tokine regains her senses. Tokine always daydreams, so that wasn't anything unusual to her.

"Artemis...If I go to sleep, wake me up with a peck attack...I want to stay up.." Tokine says with a yawn. Tokine couldn't really think straight. Her mind was basiclly in sleep mode, yet the rest of her was still up. She wanted to close her eyes, but her Torchic burned her eyelids clean off.

Out of the corner of his eye, Maxwell noticed a boy wearing a hood pass him, though he dismissed the thought. He turned back to the girl. She asked for his name, but before he could answer, she headed off towards a bonfire with her Torchic. Seeing that he at least was able to see that she was alright, he headed back towards his parents, a slight grin on his face.

"Atta boy, Maxie. You know, when you get older, you're going to be a real charmer when it comes to girls. You a good kid," his father praised, rubbing his son's head before pulling his hand back because of how stubbly it was.

"Thanks, Dad," Maxwell replied, smiling at his father. He looked back up at his mom, who was also smiling. They were one big, happy, smiling family. He loved it when they were like this. His mother started leading them towards the bonfire, where he saw the girl he had talked to before along with others that looked familiar. Finally, the Hammonds sat down in some chairs placed around the bonfire, and his parents started smalltalk. He ignored them for the most part, until his mother prodded him.

"Honey, are you hungry? I have some cash on me, I could buy you something to eat," his mother offered, and Maxwell sat up straight and looked around him. He saw a stand selling ramen noodles, and pointed to it with a chubby sausage-like finger.

"Can I have some ramen?"

"Of course you can, sweetheart. Eustace, can you watch Maxwell for a second while I get him something to eat?"

"Sure, honeybunch. Mind getting me a cup o' noodles as well?"

"No prob, Eust." And with that, Cassandra left. When his mother left, Maxwell decided to start people-watching. There was a girl who at first was talking to herself before a man tapped her on the shoulder, the dark-silvery-haired guy again, the girl with the Torchic he had talked to earlier who was apparently on fire, somehow in a comedic fashion... If people were this weird in the outside world, then he was happy to stay in his backyard with Grantham and Marianne. He stared back into the depths of the fire, entranced by the way it flickered and crackled, warming him even though he was a good distance away from him. The smoke seemed to drift up, forming shapes and intricate designs in the air... It was actually really pretty, though it sort of scared him. He was always afraid of fire, catching fire or anything. One of the reasons he shaved his head was because he had heard of a kid who's hair caught on fire. He just didn't like fire, period.

Not too much longer until the main event, Angel thought a few hours later, arms stuffed with souvenirs and prizes. The bonfire in the town square was still burning brightly, and she chose a spot nice and close to the festivities. As she looked to her left, she did note that the bearded man from before was giving her a sort of odd stare. She raised her eyebrow at him, now getting a good look at the front of his T-shirt. It was a simple thing, just a white tee with big black font that read "THE DONKER IS SCARY."

...She remembered seeing that term before... it seemed oddly familiar.

Angel was startled out of her train of thought, by the sound of loud drumming... and turning around to see her mother in silver mask lined by light lavender feathers, and a different costume, covered in metallic lilacs and silvery blues. If she were a man, it would look veeeeery flamboyant. There were two more dancers behind her, one in dark teal and orange, the other in blacks, whites and reds. All in all the display seemed to remind Angel of... three anthropomorphic dragons, similar to those she'd seen in an old book of legends.

To the north, a bright lavender light flared up, on the highest peak of the North Seren Mountains, Aether Point. Its light cast shadows on the ground, even away from this festival and its bonfire.

She had finally got to the festival, late as usual. She was always 'tardy to the party' as they said. But there was no rush. She walked around trying to stay away from people if possible. She didn't talk much, she didn't like to.

The food looked great so she figured she would try some. She went over to a ramen stand. She sat at the far right and waited for a server. One finally approached.

"How may I help you today ma'am," he asked nicely.
"One bowl please," Crystal replied quickly.

He returned with the bowl and told her it was the special. She thanked him and began to eat.
