Open Arceus and Mew -- The Decay

Darksong

Back in action!
Ten years ago, there was a big battle between Mew, the creator of all living things, and Arceus, the creator of the worlds and universes. Somehow, Mew became dominant over Arceus, and the latter has weakened considerably. Slowly, Arceus is losing control over the universes, and they have begun to go out of whack. By capturing innocent Pokemon, Mew is trying to build a large group of powerful Pokemon to finish Arceus off once and for all. There are many things to be solved, all of which could save the universes. But there are two that are especially vital to the existance of everything, whether it is matter or feeling. One thing is, how can this be solved? But more importantly, what caused Mew to attack Arceus in the first place?

You are one of the Pokemon that has been captured by one of Mew's followers, which are mostly Dark- or Ghost-types. You wake up in a darkened cell. Somehow, you find out that this is tied in with the Great Legends, especially Mew, and you have to meet up with the other captured Pokemon and learn enough about Mew to help Arceus, else all of the universes, all that you've ever dreamed of, will be destroyed.

My Character

Name: Ashley

Gender: Female

Species: Quilava

Appearance: Well-fed, also has a teardrop-shaped birthmark on her left front paw. image

Personality: Ashley quickly analyzes her enemy's moves, and so easily makes strategies. She is also quick-thinking and doesn't take long to make decisions. However, since she is not used to waiting, which is her own fault, she can be very impatient, and usually can't stand waiting for more than a minute or two. Ashley is very sensitive and emotional, which also means a short temper. Her short temper can be her biggest weakness, even larger than her impatience, since it most often gets her in trouble. However, Ashley is persistent and never gives up, as she sees surrender as an action of defeat. And she never, and I mean never, accepts defeat. She's a competitive individual and is always aiming high, even if she doesn't expect that much from herself. It's hard to scare her, and Ashley is very brave. She cares a lot for friends and hates seeing them sad, doing all she can to keep them happy. Usually, Ashley prefers to lead rather than follow, but around someone she likes, she's perfectly the opposite unless they don't like leading, in which case she always considers them first when she's the leader of things.

Biography: Both of her parents were Typhlosion, and she lived near Mt. Chimney in Hoenn for a lot of her life, so she is used to warm weather. Her father was away a lot, mainly hunting, so even though she was well fed, she doesn't have many memories of him. Her mother was very protective of her and attacked any intruder. This led to her death a few years after Ashley was born. Magma was fighting off a hostile group of Sandslash, powered by the desire to defend her only child. Even with the Ground-types' powerful claws and great defenses, she did not give up, attacking with special attacks rather than physical ones. When her father returned, he found his mate's body, and only two of the countless Sandslash that had attacked earlier. Ashley's heart was permanently scarred, but as she was old enough to live on her own, she left Mt. Chimney. This, however, was a big mistake, because as soon as she escaped from the heat and ash, just after the tunnel near Lavaridge Town, she was knocked out and captured by a Cacturne named Scourge. Name: Oodairu

Gender: Male

Species: Feraligatr

Appearance: Feraligatr

Personality: Oodairu is normally a kind and defensive Pokémon. However, he is very irritable, and when aggravated he attacks purely with his jaws and claws. He doesn't battle much, but that's only because he sits silently and formulates battle plans for the next fight that might go on. He's more interested in speed and agility than attack power and prefers dodging the enemy's attacks and hitting them when they least expect it. Oodairu likes working with the rest of the team but he can't make leader-like decisions very well and thus is more of a follower than a leader.

Biography: Oodairu lived in the Sinnoh region when he was a Totodile, just west of Pastoria City in the wet marsh. His parents were both Feraligatr. His best friend was a Toxicroak by the name of Aiku, who was about three years older than he was. When the world started decaying, Oodairu (who was then a Croconaw) teamed up with Aiku and went out to make sure that neither of their families were harmed by hordes of enemies. However, when a band of Kadabra and Roselia attacked the Route, the two friends were forced to split up. Oodairu was captured right before he evolved, but he still seeks the information of what happened to Aiku.

you have no idea how loooong I've wanted to play this guy. My lovely Luxray from Diamond. <3

Name: Rasputin
Gender:
Species: Luxray

Appearance: Rasputin (Ras for short) is a massive specimen of his species, standing at an impressive six feet at the shoulder. His yellow eyes seem to glow with a ghostly fire when he's mad, and his spiky mane borders his face, casting an aura of respect and intimidation before him. He has a scar over his left, and another on his right side, slashing down his muzzle. His claws are long and sharp, as are his white teeth. Otherwise, he looks mostly very Luxray-like. He wears a golden necklace with a small yellow gem set into it.

Personality: Rasputin is strong and smart, daring and brave. He thrives on battle, believing that is one of the only times he is truly alive. The other time he feels alive is... well, while he's with a lady. He's a womanizer, hitting on almost anything female. He tends to clash with other males, but can be likable once he's opened up.

Biography: Born near Sandgem, Rasputin lived in relative peace most of his life, teaming up with a young human girl on her Pokemon journey. He was raised to extremes by his beloved trainer, and was the strongest on her team. Shortly after they became champions, the teen had an accident and was badly injured by a wild Pokemon. Her father refused to let her keep her Pokemon for fear that they too would injure his baby girl. So Rasputin was sent out into the world, where is was toughened even more by the savage wilderness. When the world started to decay, he set out to discover it's cause...

Name: David.

Gender: Male.

Species: Kirlia(close to evolution)

Appearance: Kirlia

Personality: While usually calm, David is extremely sensitive about his girly appearance, and gets very pissed if someone calls him a girl, even if it's by mistake, although he can keep his temper at times.. he's blunt, quiet and not afraid to say what he thinks, although he actually is a nice guy, who cares for his friends and knows what's right and what's wrong, but can hold a grudge for a long time. his personality and unsocial behavior has caused him to have trust in very few others, but the ones who gain his trust will always have him by their side, and it takes long time for him to recover if the trust is broken.

Biography: The son of a Dusknoir named Henrik and a Gardevoir named Maria, David lived a peaceful life with his parents, his younger brother Viktor, his older sister Amanda and best friend Nicklas the Sneasel. He used to be a cheerful person, when he was friends with a Pupitar, Natu and Vigoroth named Alexander, Erik and Jonathan, but they one day betrayed him of no reason what so ever. This caused David to become unsocial, afraid of making new friends that would betray and leave him, and he would be very depressed person if it wasn't for the friend he had left, Nicklas the Sneasel, who was always there to cheer him up, despite fact they lived a bit far away from each other, and Nicklas' parents taught him how to survive at their home, causing them to have very little time to spend with each other. When he was older, he became friends with another group of Pokémon, Josefin the Mismagius, Varg the Lucario and a Lopunny with, coincidentally, the name Amanda. He was however, taken away by the servants of Mew, but is fixed at escaping and returning to his friends and family.

Other: His favourite berry is Watmel berries.

'kay will that do?

Name: Moonlight

Gender: Female

Species: Umbreon

Appearance: Shiny, with lavender eyes.

Personality: She is very... hyper to say the least. She is calm at times, but don't expect it. She cares a lot for others and hates fighting. Also, she makes friends easily, but kinda weird from her hyperness, so most friends go "Hehe, he..." showing they didn't really like it. Her friends, nonetheless, stay her friends.

Biography: Being 11, Moonlight had only one year before the universes began decaying. It was a wonderful year indeed - she had lots of friends. Then the universes began decaying. More and more people stayed away from her. She was saad and lonely, so she went out to the park for some fresh air. It was then Mew captured her.

AHAHAHA You so know who I'm going to play

Name: Storm

Gender: Female

Species: salamence

Appearance:
darksalamence.png
But with feathered wings.

Personality: Storm is rather reckless and dives into situations. She doesn't care for what others think of her, but does space out every once in a while. Storm makes rash decisions, and is.. very impulsive. She likes battles and overall fighting, so. She would rather fight than talk a problem through, earning her quite a few cracked scales. She is more comfortable around familiar Pokemon, but Storm hides that well.

Biography: Storm lived in and around Meteor Falls as a Bagon, and when she was around ten years old(the equivalent of three human years), she evolved into a Shelgon. It was tough for Storm, the shell was so awkward the first year. She had never really gotten used to living like that, but at fifty years(equivalent of fifteen human years) she evolved again into a Salamence. Around that time the world started to decay, and inside Storm has somewhat blamed herself for it, since feathers started to sprout on her wings right before the decay started.

Other: *sigh* Yes, she is a mixture of all my other Salamences. >:3

Male Gardevoir: Accepted.

Mewtwo: All right, that's good enough, but remember, no one-liners, please! In.

Dragon: Accepted.

Ready to start?

Nice Rp.

Name: Tyruka

Gender:Male

Species:Sableye

Appearance: Always smiling.

Personality: Tyruka is a vicious, sneaky creature who loves nothing more than tricking other pokemon and scaring them. He has a sick sense of humour and has no friends. He will hurt other pokemon when neccesary.

Biography: Tyruka was abandoned as a baby and after a major encounter with a flock of sneasel and Weavile he was beaten up and aching. He went back a year later to beat them but was beaten up and almost killed, a mismagius and a few misdreavus saved him and gave him a strange stone. He carried the stone everywhere he went and one day it awakened a Spiritomb. The spiritomb taught him how to fight and is the reason behind his evil and sneaky personality. Spiritomb was captured by a trainer but Tyruka got away after confusing the trainer with a shadow sneak. He now walks through sinnoh with only the stone before mew caught him.
Other: Hates Sneasel and Weavile.

Name: Scar
Gender: Male
Species: Meowth

Appearance: Except for the roughness and dirt caused by the kidnapping, Scar is fairly clean and neat-looking. He is healthy and strong, and though his fur isn't glossy like contest meowth, it's regularly groomed. Scar is fairly average-sized, and not that outstanding. The greatest difference between him and other meowth is his namesake: his golden charm was violently torn off, leaving behind a patch of scar tissue where no fur will grow.

Personality:
Mew made a major mistake in kidnapping Scar, many who know him might tell you. It's not so much that he's a terrifying enemy as his value as a subordinate, and how likely he would have been willing to serve under Mew if asked. His bloodlust likely rivals the worst of Mew's followers, so he would have no reservations about attacking Mew's enemies.

He only truly feels alive in battle, and fighting and killing is all he really wants. Mew could have easily pleased him by placing him on the battlefield, as long as he could fight often; instead, Mew's subordinates will likely have to deal with his tendency to slaughter his enemies, and hunt them down when not engaging in a massive battle. He'll never bring back a prisoner alive if he can help it.

With the ability to outright hate his enemies, he has no reason to do anything but dedicate his life to killing them, it seems, and perhaps this is true. However he does care for his team, and respects the strongest of that team - Rasputin - as the leader. Anyone outside of that must earn his respect, although if they're not enemies, he'll treat them with a basic level of respect.

Though rather distant and formal, he is not one to tolerate perceived slights. He won't take petty revenge if they're not truly enemies, but will instead directly challenge anyone he's displeased with. This establishes the winner's authority, unless they prove themselves unworthy in other ways; as it is, he just considers himself at the top, only under Rasputin.

Biography: Born, raised, and trained by a top-notch breeder/tamer duo, Scar was practically forced into holding the views he has, at least about battle. Most of the time, he wasn't outright abused, but he had to continuously battle to be the best fighter possible. During his short-lived period of rebellion, his charm was torn off as punishment; his tail would have been next if he didn't stop, so he did. He didn't have to be punished again - they didn't care if he won the battle, so long as he did the best he could.

When he was finally ready to be sold, a trainer bought him, not caring that he'd lost his coin. He didn't spend long with her until she challenge the pokemon league and became champion, but she didn't need to train him much anyway. Soon after she became respected as a skilled trainer, she was attacked and gravely injured by a wild pokemon. Her entire party was forced away from her by her father, but they travelled with Rasputin, where they became even stronger because of the savageness of the wild.

When Rasputin became determined to discover the cause of the world's decay, Scar naturally followed, accompanied by the rest of the team. However, their enemies were stronger than any of them had ever imagined; though Rasputin was the strongest, he was the first to be knocked out. Scar, the second-strongest, was also defeated; he's not entirely sure what happened to the others, but he suspects that they weren't strong enough to survive the attack.

Other: Because he lost his coin, Scar can't evolve or use Pay Day, and is incapable of learning many ranged special attacks.

I'm sorry, Ryu Tyruka, but I will have to decline you, since your character is a Mary-Sue, which means he has no good points. I'll give you a chance to fix him, however. Just tell me when you do, if you want to at all.

Kusa: In!

Male Gardevoir: All right.

--------

Ashley shook her head, her flames not burning. She looked like an ordinary mouse, or maybe a lemming, except with a dark blue color and yellow underbelly. Where her flames would be, she just had plain red dots, along the top of her head and in a line connecting her flanks. Her eyes were still closed, but reluctantly, she opened them.

She did not recognize this place at all. For one thing, it was cold, almost too cold for her to handle. The Quilava was uncontrollably shivering, almost wishing she were an Ice-type. The second thing is that she was in a lonely stone cell, with stone bars. And she was hoping to melt them.

Ashley could see that she was the only thing in the vacant room; the walls were close in all around her, except for a door that was partly open on her left side. The roof wasn't very high, just enough so she could rear up on her hind legs.

Desperately, she wondered where she was. She could hardly see a thing, and so she flared her fire slightly, ever so slightly, to create a glow that dyed the walls red. She could try attacking the bars, since they were too close for her to break out, but it was possible that she hurt herself in the process. Sighing, she sat down again, keeping an eye out for anyone that entered.

((Are we in the cell too? Or another cell nearby?))

Storm hissed and sat up quickly. What? Where were the mountains? She looked around, taking in the roof, and.. the lack of sky. Storm had never really been in a fully closed in place, aside from when she was a Bagon, but that was an age ago. She shivered. Who's idea was it to put a Salamence in a closed in place? In the cold? Whoever it was should be afraid. Storm breathed out a small flame in an effort to warm herself up and took in her surroundings.

((Darksong says we're in different rooms, but in cells))

Oodairu felt as if he was on ice.

He was crouching in shallow water on sand, but as far as he knew water had never been this cold before. His snout was nearly touching the tawny sand that washed beneath the azure waves. He was looking down, crouched on all fours with his tail swishing impatiently. Something told him to look up as the puce light of a sunset--or maybe sunrise-- struck the aqua scales of his face.

He did.

Immediately the sun nearly blinded him, and he tumbled backwards, his spines digging into the sand. He heard only a bit of speech.

"Leave.... Tobias...."

Huh? It had been forever since anyone called him by his hatch name, which had been changed to Oodairu less than a year later for a reson he couldn't remember.

And he awoke.

He was trapped in some weird cage with extremely hard bars. Instinctively his jaws closed around them, but almost instantly he let go. It didn't hurt, but he could tell that he was hopelessly trapped.

((Mmkay.))
Storm blinked, and took in the stone walls and bars. Some cave like thing, but not as comforting as the Falls. She lowered her head and rammed into the bars with her shoulder. Storm bounced back.

"Ouch," she muttered. Well, that got rid of that option. If a two fifty pound Salamence could bash her way out... she'd have to try Flamethrowering out. Storm glared at the stone, and loosed fire. Comforting warmth, countering the icy cold.. Before Storm stopped, seeing next to no damage done. "Great, I'm useless," she growled.

Name: Autumn

Gender: Female

Species: Leafeon

Appearance:
A vary fragile figure. By the looks of her appearance Autumn seems like she may drop dead any second. Her leaves torn, looking filthy and sickly thin. A scar over her right eye, another scar running down through her shoulder blades to her hips, and two scars covering her lower right leg. Her eyes always seem to look tired. The regular green color of a Leafeon's leaves are not present. Instead they are replaced with a crisp fall orange. It is a wonder how she manages to trudge on... [Sprite] (I couldn't get her thinness to look right on the sprite. Use your imagination. xD; )

Personality:
Usually very shy and timid. Autumn has a tendency to have a weary trust of others. Though she is easily bossed around by those bigger then her. Afraid of fighting and and violence. She also tends to be very paranoid. Always looking around, shaking, seeming like she's scared all the time. When she eventually speaks she sounds very quiet and shakey.

Biography:
Autumn's past is filled with suffering. As far as she remembers there has always been something wrong. Ever since her ex-trainer had obtained her. He seemed nice at first... until he started losing battles that is. He started to take his anger out on her.. and only her. Her team mates were not harmed. She couldn't find out why either. Was it because she was an easier target? Being shy and easy to push around.

It didn't stop either after she evolved. She started losing more battles, becoming for fatigued, he was starving her, beating her, and all she did was take it. She started developing strange fears of him, seeing hallucinations of him. Him beating her, violence, mutilation.. they only gotten worse. One day she just snapped. Autumn couldn't take it anymore. She ran away, far away, using whatever little strength she had. She hid in street allies, seeming as if she was slowly dying. She wasn't though... for some reason she was able to hold on.

She only recently started on the move again as she saw the world starting to crumble. This caused her to hide even more. Now she had something else to fear.

And Mew picked her.

...

Why her?

Other:

Homosexual

Name: Sveena

Gender: Female

Species: Houndoom

Appearance:
cherictersz8.png

Personality: She is very confident and outgoing, she likes to run, her favorite feeling is groung moving beneith her feet. Her worst weakness is her vanity though, and tends to get distracted by her own image when running by something reflective.

Biography: She was captured by a Cordinator when she was young, after she evolved, the girl, wanting her pokemon to look it's best left her with a couple of people who claimed to be groomers. The two painted her horns, the small skull on her chest, and claws with gold.

She ran away and was searching for her trainer when she met up with a group of houndour in one of the cities alleyways. She quickly defeated the leader of the pack (a houndour named shred) and took charge of the group, but has missed and searched for her trainer every chance she gets.

She was hunting with her pack one day when she ran into mew, who decided to capture her.

Other: She sometimes has nightmares and wakes up screaming at the top of her lungs, she can't ever remember the dreams though.

(( Blazen's not actually there btw ))

As soon as Scar became aware that he was awakening, he went still. It would be detrimental if he revealed his consciousness and was surrounded by enemies, while acting as though he was sleeping a while longer would surely not harm him. He allowed his sense of hearing to return to him first. If he was surrounded by enemies, there was much less activity around him than he expected. Nothing sounded truly threatening.

Then feeling seeped back into his body, and he noted that he felt no pain. His toes twitched, and his tail swept across the stone floor. He could move, then, at least sufficiently, though his muscles were cramped. But it was cold. Especially the floor - it was more like ice. His fur coat was incapable of protecting him completely. He was unable to suppress the shivers, to his disappointment.

He opened his eyes, first halfway, then completely when he noted no movement. No enemies. He scanned the small part he could see: rectangular walls and a low ceiling he could reach, should he have such a desire.

Then he turned, frowning when his back was now pressed against the icy floor. There was more space: it was a larger empty room with a door on the other side. The door was just slightly open, not enough for Scar to see the outside, but it would be easily opened. Unfortunately, vertical bars of what appeared to be metal prevented him from leaving as he pleased.

It was just as well, he thought, shifting slightly. He then stood and stretched his muscles, removing the tension and pain. It was necessary to stretch whenever he awoke, as it would prepare him for battle. It was true when he had been training, and it remained true now.

The cold would be less of a threat when he exerted himself, as well.

When his stretches were complete, he contemplated what else he ought to do. After a long period of unconsciousness, he had various needs to attend to. One was hunger, but he could do nothing with that now. As for another... he walked over to a corner where two walls met and urinated.

He heard someone choking behind him. "Ugh! What are you doing?"

"Urinating on the wall," he answered. The stream slowed to a trickle that dripped down his leg, and stopped. He turned.

The infernape was at least thrice as tall as Scar, even more so with the flickering orange flames burning on the infernape's head. Scar felt the warmth seep into him, and he wondered why it was so cold. No matter. Blazen's flames would warm him with time, as well as the rest of the room. For now, the floor remained icy.

"It is good to see you alive and well," he said.

"Yeah. You too." Blazen showed his teeth in a gesture like the human smile, but Scar could see Blazen's nervousness. It was nonsense, of course - Blazen need not fear him - but the infernape could feel as he pleased. It was only his actions that mattered.

"Have you attempted to damage the bars to allow our escape?" Scar asked.

"Er." Blazen glanced at the bars, turned to them, grabbing two adjacent bars and pulling them away from each other. He grunted, but ultimately the bars held.

Blazen turned around, shrugging. Scar inclined his head. "Unfortunate, but inevitable, if they thought to imprison you with them. We must escape in some other manner."

David woke up, feeling the cold floor at his face. The Kirlia sat up, looking around him, he was a in a small stone room, a cold stone room, he began shivering uncontrollably. He put his hands together, and opened them again, creating a little blue flame, which he put down on the ground, while curling up in front of it. it was small, but it was a warm flame. "Well, now that isn't a problem anymore" he said, once again eying the room, "I can begin wondering where I am" He saw bars, covering what he suspected was the exit from this place, he went up, and began pushing the bars with all the strength he had, not that it was much strength he had what so ever. He gave up quickly, realizing he couldn't do anything against the bars, and curled up in front of the little flame again, waiting for someone to explain what was going on to him.

((Will-O-Wisp, David's father was Dusknoir, therefor he can use it))
