Open Arceus and Mew -- The Decay

Moonlight's head snapped up. She looked around. Enclosed... She didn't mind being in rooms, just not cold, hard ones with no light. It was then she wished she knew a move that would get at least a little light in here. Shadow Ball wouldn't do it. She curled up and went back to sleep, not knowing what else to do.

I'm sorry, Ryu Tyruka, but I will have to decline you, since your character is a Mary-Sue, which means he has no good points. I'll give you a chance to fix him, however. Just tell me when you do, if you want to at all.

Sorry, I just reread it and thought the same thing, i'll redo it now.

Name: Tyruka

Gender:Male

Species:Sableye

Appearance:
208bh38.jpg
Always smiling.

Personality: Tyruka is a sneaky creature who loves tricking other pokemon and scaring them. He has a sick sense of humour and secretly wants to have friends ,he will intervene to help other pokemon getting picked on. He is timid sometimes and likes to hide. He trusts certain types of pokemon depending on their behaviour towards him. He relies on tricks and isn't that good in a fight, he'd rather talk things over than go to fist-to-fist fighting.

Biography: Tyruka was abandoned as a baby and after a major encounter with a flock of sneasel and Weavile he was beaten up and aching. He went back a year later to beat them but was beaten up and almost killed, a mismagius and a few misdreavus saved him and gave him a strange stone. He carried the stone everywhere he went and one day it awakened a Spiritomb. The spiritomb taught him how to fight and is the reason behind his sneaky personality. Spiritomb was captured by a trainer but Tyruka got away after confusing the trainer with a shadow sneak. He now walks through sinnoh with only the stone before mew caught him.
Other: Hates Sneasel and Weavile. Trusts ghost pokemon mainly.

I think this is fine, but Darksong might say otherwise.

A major encounter with a flock of Sneasel and Weavile? Why did they attack him?

And a Mismagius and some Misdreavus save him and give him a stone? Why? And the stone just happens to be a Spiritomb, which he becomes best friends with? How'd it get caught, a trainer fell out of the sky can caught it?

Spiritombs are attached to their stones, so he can't carry it around.

Most of Mew's minions are ghost or dark, so.

Sorry for post.

((Hm... That's fine, Ryu Tyruka. In, though I'm not sure about the Pokémon-attacking-Trainer thing.

EDIT: Treechu -- Not accepted. Like Ryu Tyruka used to be, your character has no strengths.))

At that moment, an Absol entered each room, and restrained the Pokémon with psychic powers (yes, Dark-types are restrained also) while they cut a few bars open with their scythes.

Ashley attempted to jump out of her cage but was held back to a walk by the Absol's Psychic. Ghostly energy surrounded each leg like shackles, somehow connecting her to the Absol so she couldn't break out. She was led down the extremely long hallway, seeing six doors on the way; three on the right and three on the left. She appeared to be in the very back of the hallway, but quickly made her way to a pair of large metal doors at the end. Her flames came up out of her head, but the door remained un-melted, much to her disappointment. The Absol leaped over and gave her a nip on the shoulder. Ashley cried out in pain, flinching back, and was led to the middle of a vast stone room, where there was a translucent pink bubble, which appeared to be empty. And there, she stopped.

((Now just do something like that.))

Oodairu opened his mouth for a Hydro Pump, but then an Absol walked in. His lip curled back in a ferocious growl, but something made him trip and forced him to follow the Pokemon. With disgust, he decided not to hurt himself by trying to break free of the psychic grip. Impatiently he was brought to some vast room with an empty pink bubble and another Pokemon... who was it? A Fire-type. If she was an enemy he would quickly extinguish her flame. But she didn't appear to be hostile.

Ashley turned her head to the newcomer as she heard heavy footsteps and smelled another Pokemon entering. Quickly, her flames rose, but she calmed again as she realized he didn't seem persuaded to attack. He had also been led in by an Absol, so it couldn't have been hostile. The well-fed Quilava attempted to sit down and look back at him, but she was forced to stand straight, pushed forward. She let out a small whine and shook her head, acting more dog-like than mouse-like, which was what humans thought she was. The pink bubble was still empty, and she shivered with the cold.

(Thank you!!)

Sveena woke to the sounds of her own screams, another of those rare nights. She was shaking and her body was bathed in sweat even though the ground was ice cold, typical for a night in the city alleyways. She barked twice to wake her pack, it was a moonless night, a perfect opportunity to hunt. She waited quietly, but no one answered. She barked again, louder. She waited three minutes then shot a large flame, and realized that she was alone. She let loose a thinner slower jet of flame, there were bars blocking the only exit, the room was made of stone.

Sveena took a deep breath, and thought about the situation she was in. "I am locked in a strange room" she thought I am alone, I don't know where I am or why I am here, and my pack, where ever they are, has been left without a leader.
Wonderful."

She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, then walked up to the row of bars. She was thinking of trying to melt them when suddenly an Absol walked in, it's eyes shone momentairly in the darkness and suddenly Sveena felt herself being yanked along by an invisable chain. The Absol sliced the bars and led her along, faster than what seemed necessary.
"Well, at least I'm not in the same room anymore, and i know there's other pokemon in this place." The thought didn't help her relax any, it actually made her more nervous. She looked at the absol for a minuite, then decided that trying to talk to it wouldn't kill her.
"My name is Sveena, are you allowed to tell me where we're going?" The pokemons answering snarl was an obvious no. "Well that was useless." Suddenly she was led into a large room, there were two other pokemon there, and a pink floating bubble. The sight of the other pokemon relaxed her, they didn't seem to be hostile like the Absol. "I hope my pack is safe, and less confused than me."

Name: Autumn

Gender: Female

Species: Leafeon

Appearance:
A vary fragile figure. By the looks of her appearance Autumn seems like she may drop dead any second. Her leaves torn, looking filthy and sickly thin. A scar over her right eye, another scar running down through her shoulder blades to her hips, and two scars covering her lower right leg. Her eyes always seem to look tired. The regular green color of a Leafeon's leaves are not present. Instead they are replaced with a crisp fall orange. It is a wonder how she manages to trudge on... [Sprite] (I couldn't get her thinness to look right on the sprite. Use your imagination. xD; )

Personality:
Usually very shy and timid. Autumn has a tendency to have a weary trust of others. Though she is easily bossed around by those bigger then her. Afraid of fighting and and violence. She also tends to be very paranoid. Always looking around, shaking, seeming like she's scared all the time. When she eventually speaks she sounds very quiet and shakey.

When she has to to go into battle Autumn plays on the defensive. Using moves like Grasswhistle and Wish to help her and her teamates.

Biography:
Autumn's past is filled with suffering. As far as she remembers there has always been something wrong. Ever since her ex-trainer had obtained her. He seemed nice at first... until he started losing battles that is. He started to take his anger out on her.. and only her. Her team mates were not harmed. She couldn't find out why either. Was it because she was an easier target? Being shy and easy to push around.

It didn't stop either after she evolved. She started losing more battles, becoming for fatigued, he was starving her, beating her, and all she did was take it. She started developing strange fears of him, seeing hallucinations of him. Him beating her, violence, mutilation.. they only gotten worse. One day she just snapped. Autumn couldn't take it anymore. She ran away, far away, using whatever little strength she had. She hid in street allies, seeming as if she was slowly dying. She wasn't though... for some reason she was able to hold on.

She only recently started on the move again as she saw the world starting to crumble. This caused her to hide even more. Now she had something else to fear. Her big damaging attack seems to be Giga Drain, which also attributes to her defensive ability.

And Mew picked her.

...

Why her?

Other:
Vegetarian
Schizophrenic
Homosexual

((Hmm... better, but I wouldn't say going on the defensive is a strength. I think she still needs a bit more good in her. ))

Rasputin jerked awake.

Something was staring at him, he could feel it. He opened one blazing eye and found himself staring up at an Absol. He growled, wincing slightly as he felt the cold floor pressing against his jaw. He got to his feet, hissing, as the dark-type watched. He stood at least twice the height of the dark-type, he noted, scowling. But right as he was about to strike out at the offending creature, though, it bound him with powerful dark bonds.

Rasputin grumbled as he was lead, eyes set straight ahead, paw-pads tapping on the floor. He was shoved roughly into the room by the Absol, and he snarled, eyes burning. He frowned.

While sitting in the small stone room, keeping himself warm with his little Will-O-Wisp, David heard footsteps coming his direction. He turned and saw a Absol entering the room by cutting down the stone bars, and forced David to follow by putting him into shackles of ghostlike energy, and while he could put up a fight, the Absol had the obvious advantage here, so he just followed it. He was taken into a big room, still made of stone, cold stone, but his interest was more directed at the other Pokémon which appeared to be in the same situation as him, and the strange pink bubble. "Oh, hi there!" he said, not caring if he was supposed to shut up or not, "Do anyone know what's happening around here or is everyone just as confused as I am?"

Something tapped her on the shoulder. "Hmmm, whatiiisiiit..." she mumbled as she was carried by Psychic powers to another room. She actually followed without struggle, because she was happy to be out of the room. When she entered the other room, she saw a pink bubble and other Pokemon.

Storm roared angrily, and was about to summon a Draco Meteor, when an Absol rushed in.
"Don't bother," it growled monotonously, and lowered its' head. Storm stepped back, thinking it was going to charge, but her muscles locked up.
"What is th-" Her mouth locked up too. Smart Absol, Storm thought. You better not let me Flamethrower you in the face. No matter, she was trapped. It led her out, and brought her to another larger stone room, with more Pokemon, and a pink bubble or some sort floating in the middle. A Kirlia was chatting noisily, and Storm felt the bonds on her mouth disappear. She was about to summon a Dragon Pulse, but it didn't come. What? The Absol from before sneered.
"Go to hell," she muttered, and took a look around.

The Absols silenced everybody as a long body began to form in the bubble. Ashley said loudly, "What is tha-" but had a paw slapped over her mouth. It was just long enough to determine her gender: female. She had always looked masculine, she thought, but no matter.

As the body in the bubble became more visible, the sphere faded, leaving only a white, floating cat.

"This is the apprehension?" Its voice was soft and more feminine than masculine, although its gender wasn't determined. All Absol nodded simultaneously, then kept their heads low. Ashley's flames flared with rage. But Mew payed no matter.

"Take them to the training rooms." Mew made signals to the Absol with its tail. The Pokemon split up in pairs, bringing their captives with them.

Oodairu and Moonlight were sent into a dark hallway to the left.

David and Storm were led down a hallway adjacent to the above.

Scar and Tyruka were brought into a long hallway to the right, with Sveena close behind. However, as they took a few steps, the Absol with Sveena veered into a room to the right.

Ashley saw that a Luxray was being brought behind her. ((Rasputin, by the way.)) She looked back for only a moment before being pushed ahead. The darkness made her wonder where she was.

All of the Absol brought their captives down the dark hallway, psychic powers still holding fast, and turned into large arenas. They were mainly fields with a giant baobab tree in the middle, and a lake to the north. There was a mock "sky" as a ceiling.

Much to Ashley's relief, she (and everyone else) were released from the psychic power as soon as they arrived. However, the Absol closed the doors quickly behind them, and there appeared to be no way to get out.

Each Absol stepped forward and said exactly the same thing. "The doors can only be opened by our will. You will fight each other in a match."

The Absol that had led Sveena growled, "In this match, you will battle me."

Ashley glanced towards Rasputin, and took a fighting stance.

((Battles are anime-style.))

((Sweeet~))

Moonlignt and a Feraligatr were led down a dark hallway. WHen they arrived, it appeared to be outside, but she still felt enclosed. The Absol closed the door.

"You will fight-" was all she heard before everything else was trapped out.

Fight? I don't wanna fight! Especially not with this Feraligatr!

(( Surely there's a better way of restraining darks than saying "Psychic magically affects them" >:| If nothing else you could say we have to be brought there and leave it up to us to figure out a way how; RPers should have some level of imagination, right.

Well. Too late since I took so long replying. ))

Even after scanning every inch of the walls as thoroughly as possible, Scar was unable to determine any weaknesses. This didn't deter him, however. If the walls were equally strong, they were also equally weak.

"Burn the bars to weaken them," he ordered, "and attack."

"Sure."

Scar backed away to a corner, allowing Blazen to attack without fear of harming him. He stepped in the now-cool puddle of urine, and frowned. He'd have to clean that. He moved to the other corner and groomed his foot with his rough tongue.

Meanwhile, Blazen inhaled as deeply as he could, then blasted the bars with a stream of orange flames, turning his head to weaken all of the bars. He then darted forward, throwing a flurry of punches and kicks at the bar. He leapt back, pausing and closing his eyes to meditate, and flames leapt from his fists and feet. Again, he attacked the bars furiously, each fiery hit connecting with a bar.

Yet Scar could see that Blazen's efforts were futile. "Halt," he said, and Blazen leapt back. The flames on his limbs flickered and died.

Scar walked over and inspected the bars closely, but could not find any sign of damage. No melting, and the bars were perfectly straight.

"It's no good, isn't it?" Blazen sounded resigned.

Scar inclined his head. "It appears this cell is well-reinforced."

It was then that the door was pushed open, and an absol walked in. Silently, the absol walked over... and easily sliced through the bars. Scar was about to speculate out loud that the bars were reinforced with psychic energy, but the very energy he was thinking about encased him. He found himself totally unable to move save for breathing.

Still silent, the absol turned and walked out. Scar's body moved against his will, forcing him to follow. Knowing that struggle would simply harm him, he willingly moved his limbs with the psychic force. It then suddenly released him, and the absol glanced back, nodding. As it continued, however, Scar felt a strange shackle around his leg, and knew he must continue forward.

He was marched into a larger stone room. He glanced around, noting other pokemon guarded by absol. Rasputin, Scar noted in surprise, was also present.

Blazen, however, was not.

The pink orb in the centre of the room, which Scar had not paid much attention to, moved - or rather, Scar sensed movement from it, and a long, pink, feline pokemon formed within the orb. Scar could feel its great psychic power resonating through his mind. He was unharmed, but he was aware.

"This is the apprehension?" it asked. Its voice was surprisingly soft for one so powerful. The absol nodded as one and bowed their heads. Only more proof of the pink pokemon's great strength, if the pokemon of darkness obeyed a psychic.

There was no doubt that this was Mew.

"Take them to the training rooms," it said, and the absol led the captives away from each other. Scar ignored the shackle tugging at him and turned to Rasputin, intending to hail his leader. However, the psychic energy encased him once more, and he was pulled away from Rasputin; instead, he was forced down a dark hallway with another pokemon he did not recognise - a houndoom, yes, but he had never interacted with this houndoom personally.

Scar and the houndoom were forced to enter the same room. Oddly, they appeared to be outside; the field, tree, and sky were an impressive resemblance, but the walls were not hidden and the sky was obviously a ceiling.

The psychic energy and even the ghostly shackles suddenly vanished. The door, however, was closed by an absol, while the other stepped forward, announcing its intentions with a cool, commanding voice.

"The doors can only be opened by our will. You will fight each other in a match."

Scar extended his claws, narrowing his eyes. It was much brighter here, so his eyes were closing to slits, but the process was incomplete. A houndoom... Scar had no particular wish to fight a canine, but he would do so if necessary, if only to survive. But the dark pokemon that had capture him and his leader, and slaughtered his team-mates... he would destroy them.

Dark... houndoom controlled dark energy, did they not? Had the houndoom also been forced here with psychic energy? That ought to be impossible, but there were various methods to remove their immunity. If the houndoom was forced here against her will, Scar could possibly have used that if he had learned to use his mind so powerfully. However, he had not.

Many of his more powerful attacks would not greatly damage the houndoom, as she resisted the effects of dark energy. In fact, the dark energy would weaken his attacks, as they would form a sort of barrier between his claws and her flesh. Yes... dark energy would be useless, so he could only rely on his claws and his fangs. He'd bite the houndoom's legs to slow her down, without the use of dark energy, and his claws would at tear the houndoom's face and rake across her eyes.

In truth, he could use a more potent weapon against the houndoom, one of the few projectiles focused through his mouth rather than his lost charm. However, he had no wish to do so, as his claws and fangs would strike true most often, and were more easily controlled. Water also was not as effective on absol as houndoom, so there was little point in practising with it. His true target was not the houndoom, but the absol, but the houndoom would allow Scar to discover an effective fighting strategy against the absol.

While the houndoom would likely rely more on flames than the absol, houndoom and absol had a similar body structure, and their physical attacks and movements would likely be fairly similar. If Scar could defeat the houndoom without the use of water, he would likely be capable of killing the absol. This meant a physical battle barring strategic use of projectile attacks, and houndoom were naturally stronger than meowth.

As were absol. It only meant that Scar must remain wary.

The houndoom had another quality the absol did not - a strange gold colouring on her neck-charm and her horns. They would make excellent prizes, when Scar defeated her. His entire hoard had been lost when he was sold, again when he was released, and a third time after capture. He could collect treasures once more, beginning anew. The small golden skull appeared the most valuable, and they would complement the two absol-blades.
